"This was my first time staying here, as I made a last-minute reservation. I parked on the second floor by mistake, but when I contacted the front desk, they came out right away and helped me out. I checked in late and checked out early in the morning, but the front desk staff was polite and I was glad. The bathroom in the room had been renovated, and although it was a little old in places, the coils in the bed were comfortable and easy to sleep on, and they had put a lot of effort into the amenities! It was the closest to the station, and it was easy to get to restaurants, so I'm glad I stayed here (^^) Thank you."

Kurayoshi in Tottori Prefecture is known for its beautifully preserved historic townscape, designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in Japan. The charming streets are lined with traditional white-walled storehouses and distinctive red-tiled roofs, creating a timeless and serene atmosphere.
Kurayoshi is also historically significant as a place where the Japanese Mingei (folk craft) movement once flourished, nurturing a unique aesthetic sensibility rooted in everyday beauty. At the same time, the region is often referred to as a “land of mythology,” where ancient legends and spiritual traditions continue to live on.
Two historic buildings designated as Tottori Prefectural Cultural Properties and Registered Tangible Cultural Properties have been carefully preserved and restored while respecting their historical significance. These buildings have been thoughtfully reimagined as part of an intimate accommodation experience consisting of 11 guest rooms scattered throughout the town.
