"Amazing! Spacious rooms with views in all directions. Everything was thought out to the last detail, even the tea and coffee set featuring local teas set the mood for rest and relaxation in such a wonderful place. Breakfasts and dinners were on par with the best restaurants, with sushi and wagyu available every evening. The lounge bar delighted us with interesting cocktails, and the onsen with its ocean view allowed us to truly enjoy the trip."

"It's only a 10-minute uphill walk from the small airport. The uncle was very friendly. We all left the hotel and came back in the afternoon to get our luggage. He turned on the air conditioner and let us rest in the lobby. The room was large and clean. The breakfast set was very rich and suitable for Chinese stomachs. There are large supermarkets, drugstores, Italian restaurants and local restaurants nearby. There are buses from the airport to various attractions. Highly recommended!"

"The oldest, slender gentleman with graying hair at the front desk first asked me about my travel plans for the next few days. Then, using a translation app, he communicated with me sentence by sentence to help me plan my itinerary. This was incredibly detailed, down to whether I wanted a bento box for breakfast or lunch, what time to catch the train each day, where and when to transfer, what time the last return train was, and by what time I absolutely had to leave. He even made sure to tell me which direction to take the train so I wouldn't get it wrong. The katakana he used, when put through the translation app, roughly translates to ”Kiyooka” or ”Seioka” (Mr. Kiyooka/Seioka). My sincere thanks to this gentleman!"

"We absolutely loved this stay and would recommend it to all travellers! We booked the corner room. The room was well illuminated by natural light during the day and we could see the river from our room. At night we could even hear the water flowing. There were two western single beds but we asked for futons for the full Japanese experience and loved it! The room was spacious and clean. There was a bathtub in the bathroom but we used the public bath (male and female separated) which was amazing. The public bath was quiet and spacious and there was a sauna room. Breakfast was served during 7am -830am with a well set table as shown in the picture. The staff was super kind. Just note that the walls were thin and you should expect some noise but people here are generally used to keeping their voice down. Another highlight is that you can take the bus of both the red and blue lines at the bus stop right in front of the hotel. (The blue line is for Shiratani Unsuikyo.). It is very convenient if you are not driving. The hotel is around 25 mins away from the ferry port and the walk there was pleasant and not difficult to find. Yet another great thing about this place is that you can rent mountaineering gear here at a cheap price, including shoes and rain protection. We rented the shoes here at 1,xxx yen per person (forgot the exact price) and they were very useful. It was raining for almost the whole 5h hike for us and the shoes offered a good grip and were sufficiently waterproof. You can also find little souvenirs at their shop. Honestly, it's impeccable!"

"Ujiudao Villa is a secret hot spring in the forest, the environment is quiet, and the window is the negative ion air of the virgin forest. The Japanese-style rooms are clean and comfortable, and some have tatami areas. The biggest highlight is the high-quality hot springs. The open-air wind can listen to the stream while soaking in the soup and watching the stars, and the skin is smooth and tender. The dinner banquet cuisine uses local mountain and seafood, and the breakfast is also very rich. The staff is warm and professional and can provide hiking suggestions. 4.5 star recommendation, especially suitable for relaxing after hiking, is the perfect place to explore the nature of Yakushima."

"Because it is a detached house, the １ floor and ２ floor can see the sea well with the ocean view, and there is no light around at night, so the stars and moon are beautiful and you can see a lot. All rooms are clean and easy to use. I asked for breakfast later, but it was a great answer. The appearance and taste are the best. The owner was a chef before, so it tastes great. The bath is like a goemon bath, and you can remember the old feeling."
