"I’m Very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the room. Check in je terus nampak sink pipe dalam bathroom bocor sampai lantai basah. Sofa pula sangat hapak, busuk, lusuh dan berbulu . and then bed pun ada sehelai rambut, meja bulat pun masih kotor macam tak properly clean before guest masuk. Overall memang rasa maintenance dan housekeeping sangat tak memuaskan. tak berbaloi dengan harga 300+/night😔

"Overall decent stay at Golden Lodge. The room was itself was clean, bed was okay and clean towels.
The bathroom is shared and throughout our stay we noticed it had not been cleaned by staff once (we were there four nights). It is a shower room so we had to wear shoes in the bathroom because there was no bathroom slippers provided. The environment itself is clean due to their no shoes inside policy. Lots of common space both inside and out which was great. 3 cute cats roaming the property. Great walking location near the town of Tanah rata.
The staff however were quite unhelpful. They were quite silent and it didn’t seem like they cared about their guests. We were not asked once if we wanted new towels. We booked an extra night to extend and I requested that we stay in the same room (which the receptionist said was no issue the day before). Day of the extension it’s like they forgot that we extended? Even though it was the same receptionist I talked to the day before. They made us pay another sustainability fee (which we paid at the beginning of our stay) to extend one night?
It was just a bit of a hassle explaining all of this to them for the receptionist to again be quiet and not say much."

"Recently we stayed at Copthorne Cameron Highlands and had a pleasant overall experience.
The hotel’s location is very strategic, especially for visitors who want easy access to Kea Farm and other nearby attractions. It is convenient for food hunting, shopping, and sightseeing around Cameron Highlands.
The basement parking at the hotel was acceptable, although the number of parking spaces is somewhat limited. For guests staying in the house units, parking is much better as it is available directly in front of the room, making it very convenient.
The check-in process was fair, with a reasonable waiting time, while the checkout experience was smooth and efficient.
However, there are several areas that need improvement. The amenities provided could be enhanced to offer a better guest experience. Room cleanliness also requires more attention, as housekeeping standards should be improved to ensure guests enjoy a more comfortable and pleasant stay.

"I had a very comfortable stay at this incredibly clean hotel. The bathtub was just the right size and really helped me relax after a long day of travel. The shower pressure was also excellent. I appreciated the separation between the toilet and shower. The morning buffet was beautifully presented, and every dish was delicious. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated."

"I checked in on 17 May 2026, and overall, the stay was disappointing.
The room condition was poor and clearly needs serious refurbishment. The mattress appeared dirty, and several parts of the room looked old, worn out, and not properly maintained. The overall hotel lobby and atmosphere also felt run down and did not give a welcoming impression.
Service was also below expectation. The receptionist staff were not welcoming, and there was no bellboy available or on standby during check-in.
There was also confusion regarding the high tea service. A female staff member at the hostess station in the main restaurant informed us that the high tea set was available, the restaurant serving high tea closes at 6 pm, and walk-ins were acceptable. However, when we came back later at around 5 pm, a male staff member told us the restaurant was already closed and that booking was required for the high tea set. This was frustrating due to the inconsistent information given by the staff.
The breakfast buffet was also disappointing. The bread rolls were hard, the puff pastry tasted like an imitation and was unpleasant, and overall the food was mediocre.
Based on the room condition, service, facilities, and food quality, the hotel did not meet expectations and is in serious need of improvement."

"Before booking, I saw all the excellent reviews and that it was a new building, so I decisively locked in this hotel. Then I compared prices between Trip and Agoda. Agoda was slightly cheaper, but Trip explicitly stated that a room upgrade was possible due to a loyalty program, so I ultimately chose to book with Trip.
Upon arrival that day, the hotel allowed us to check in early and even offered a welcome drink. The entire check-in process was very smooth. I asked if the room had a view, and the front desk informed me it overlooked a forest at the back. I then inquired about the upgrade cost to a golf course view room. The on-the-spot upgrade price was RM150 (whereas online it was only RM50), so I promptly gave up on that idea!
Upon entering the room, I opened the window to find a massive white wall as the view! The room design was very new and comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too high, and the soundproofing was poor – I could clearly hear other guests passing by. Even more outrageous was the fire alarm, which went off countless times in the evening (from around 9 PM until midnight), waking me up from my sleep multiple times."

"Spacious room with a Qibla sign. Clean. The only downside was the bathroom, which only had a single bar of soap. I had to ask for towels. The bathroom fan was so noisy it gave me a headache; my husband had to bang on it to make it a bit quieter. The uncle and auntie at the reception during the day shift were excellent—friendly and very helpful. However, the uncle on the night shift was not friendly at all; he seemed annoyed when I asked for towels. There's a Family Mart and plenty of eateries downstairs, and it's close to Taman Sedia."

We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness.
The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful time during our stay at Lakehouse, from the manager Ms Samantha to all her staff, they were attentive, friendly and their service was indeed impeccable. We had a lovely family suite, enjoyed the beautiful garden filled with beautiful flowers. The restaurant served excellent food, compliments to the chef with his creative cooking made a simple fried rice tasted heavenly, not to mentioned beef rib redang etc. A special thanks to Faridus who went out of his way to buy a can of lychee to make lychee martini for us! This is truly one of the best short holiday that we all will cherish & remember for a long time.

GGuest UserI highly recommend staying at Hotel de la Ferns in Cameron Highlands. The hotel is exceptionally well-maintained, from its cleanliness to the service provided by the staff—a definite 10/10.
A special thanks to Mr. Sivam, Mr. Shah, and the team for their incredible help in getting my husband to the hospital during medical emergency. The location is strategic, and the homemade scones and pizza at Restaurant Lemon Button was delicious. Buffet breakfast served was reasonable and comes with variety of choices. With spacious parking and a lift for wheelchair access, it’s a perfect choice for those traveling with elderly family members. Highly recommended well maintained hotel in Cameron Highland.

GGuest UserThe 3 bedroom apartmen is spacious and comfortable for a family of 5. Although the rooms were not air conditioned except for one, they were equipped with ceiling fans which were good enough to keep the space cool.
For those who are driving, there are ample lots for parking. The apartment is within ten minutes drive to the Cameron Valley tea plantation.

LLai Wai ChingThe room is located on the 1st floor. There is no lift to the room, thus you need to carry your own luggage bag walking up the staircase. The highest floor is 2nd floor (3rd level). The room is spacious. There is a balcony and living room is with 3+1 couch. There is only a rain shower and no handheld shower jet. This makes shower not as convenient as if there have both. Overall a good choice for a holiday in Cameron Highlands.

AAmbiga PanichelvamWe stayed for 2 nights and were glad the hotel was located at Tanah Rata—otherwise, with the heavy traffic that day, we might not have been able to check in around 3 PM. The owner and staff were very friendly, always checking in on us and making sure we were comfortable. The room gave us a nostalgic feeling, as it was well maintained in its classic style, and the whole hotel itself carried that charming old-fashioned look. The atmosphere was cozy, peaceful, and felt like a step back in time. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we truly appreciated the warmth and hospitality.

The apartment is spacious and well-suited for families or small groups, offering three separate bedrooms, a living area, and basic kitchen amenities. Its location is convenient, directly above a shopping arcade with eateries, a convenience store, and tourist attractions like the butterfly garden nearby.
Overall, our stay was comfortable, though there are areas for improvement. Cleanliness was average, and some furnishings showed signs of wear. The unit could benefit from better maintenance, particularly in the bathrooms. Noise from the surrounding area can also be heard in the evenings. However, the view from the balcony and the cool mountain air made up for it. It’s a decent, no-frills option for travelers looking for space and accessibility without expecting luxury.
