Penny AttenbroughA wonderful place for hosting gatherings with family and friends. The property is well-equipped with a BBQ pit, plates, and other essentials, making it convenient for group meals and quality time together.
We were warmly greeted by Joe upon arrival, and the service throughout our stay was impeccable. The hospitality was truly 5-star. I also loved the beautiful flowers in the garden, which added to the charm and tranquility of the property.
A few suggestions for improvement: I didn’t realise that the room I reserved did not come with a TV, so clearer information during the booking process would be helpful. The mattress was a little too firm for my preference, and the lighting in both the room and bathroom felt somewhat dim, although I understand this may be part of the cottage ambience. It may also be worth considering separating the bathroom light switch from the ventilation fan for added convenience.
I would also suggest providing a kettle in each room rather than on a shared basis. Having cups and complimentary coffee or tea in the room would further enhance guests’ comfort and convenience.
Overall, a lovely stay with beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities for family gatherings, and exceptional service. I would be happy to return.

This was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience!
We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness.
The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.

FarahjaafarNestled among lush green mountains, this cabin-style retreat offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The view from the private patio is stunning, with rows of charming chalets set against forest-covered hills and a bright blue sky. The atmosphere is quiet, refreshing, and family-friendly, making it an ideal place to slow down, unwind, and enjoy the cool highland air.
The accommodation is fairly well-equipped, with essential facilities provided. A fan is available in the room, while hot water is supplied in the bathroom. Due to the cool climate, the room can feel chilly at night, and the floor tends to remain damp after showering.
Breakfast is included and served hot, accompanied by hot drinks and orange juice. While the meal is filling, the taste is fairly simple and may not stand out to everyone, the curry noodles have a flavour similar to what you might find at a local mamak restaurant.
Overall, the highlight of the stay is not the food or luxury facilities, but the beautiful scenery, fresh mountain air, and tranquil environment. It’s the kind of place where you wake up to green views, enjoy a quiet morning on the patio, and take a break from the busy pace of everyday life.

Raine.TanSuper quiet hotel, lovely views! They've an awesome garden! Suggest signing up for the guided walk around the property to get a complete experience of what strawberry park has to offer!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Would be even more awesome if the furniture (e.g., cupboards) are updated!

The lounge has a great ambiance. The rooms are what you'd expect from an older 3 or 4-star hotel. The garden and other facilities are quite nice though.

🌲 Bala Chalet, Cameron Highlands
• Pros: A truly wonderful stay, with the charm of an old English cottage. Cozy interiors, rustic atmosphere, and the refreshing cool air of the Highlands made it feel timeless.
• Cons: None at all — everything was delightful.
• Summary: This chalet captures the essence of a countryside retreat, reminiscent of a classic English cottage. It’s the kind of place that makes you linger, reluctant to leave, perfect for unwinding and escaping the bustle of city life.

Beyond the map
Our stay was unfortunately disrupted for two evenings. We were surprised to find an active construction site next to our tents, where work continued until 9:00 PM. Furthermore, a loud business party with karaoke created noise until 11:00 PM, which was very disruptive for our young children.
To their credit, the receptionist and manager were apologetic and supportive. They ensured all loud noise stopped after 11:00 PM and kindly provided us with a voucher for strawberry picking as a goodwill gesture. The campsite's location was also excellent for visiting local attractions like the tea plantation and enjoying afternoon tea.
However, due to the initial excessive noise and disruption, we cannot recommend this campsite for families with young children. While the staff responded well, the accommodations and amenities do not fully reflect the value for the price per night, and there may be better hotel options in the area for a similar cost.

MikeLimMyHotel Brynton is an ideal choice for the business traveler or the short-stay urbanite who prioritizes location, cleanliness, and proximity to infrastructure over onsite resort-style amenities.
However, for travelers expecting a full-service experience—or those looking for a ”resort” feel to justify a higher budget—the current lack of facilities creates a perception of an inflated price tag. It is a property that succeeds on its geography but leaves room for improvement in its value-add services.

Guest UserIt’s pretty well located: near Brinchang, quite close to attractions like Kea Farm, tea plantations, markets, and scenic areas. The hotel is also linked or very near a mall/shopping arcade, convenience stores are just a short walk. That can be very helpful with children. Noise from outside or from adjacent rooms/apartments can be bothersome, but is fine since we come here for outing and attractions. Finally the traffic outside is too congested, not the hotels fault but too many visitors come to cameron highlands nowaday, it's an hour drive from one place to another within short distance.
