Amazing
PPenny AttenbroughA wonderful place for hosting gatherings with family and friends. The property is well-equipped with a BBQ pit, plates, and other essentials, making it convenient for group meals and quality time together.
We were warmly greeted by Joe upon arrival, and the service throughout our stay was impeccable. The hospitality was truly 5-star. I also loved the beautiful flowers in the garden, which added to the charm and tranquility of the property.
A few suggestions for improvement: I didn’t realise that the room I reserved did not come with a TV, so clearer information during the booking process would be helpful. The mattress was a little too firm for my preference, and the lighting in both the room and bathroom felt somewhat dim, although I understand this may be part of the cottage ambience. It may also be worth considering separating the bathroom light switch from the ventilation fan for added convenience.
I would also suggest providing a kettle in each room rather than on a shared basis. Having cups and complimentary coffee or tea in the room would further enhance guests’ comfort and convenience.
Overall, a lovely stay with beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities for family gatherings, and exceptional service. I would be happy to return.
GGuest UserThis was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience!
We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness.
The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.
TTanabalan moganIt's realy awesome place to stay, with abroad environment.rooms oso with same touch.dinner oso, when I had it, feel like I m at abroad.all staff over there is realy awesome, friendly & they re realy helpfull.👌 ultimately, lake house is magical place.
LLai Wai ChingThe room is located on the 1st floor. There is no lift to the room, thus you need to carry your own luggage bag walking up the staircase. The highest floor is 2nd floor (3rd level). The room is spacious. There is a balcony and living room is with 3+1 couch. There is only a rain shower and no handheld shower jet. This makes shower not as convenient as if there have both. Overall a good choice for a holiday in Cameron Highlands.
FFz_KI love my stay at Campod resort. My children who are between 4 to 10 years old enjoyed themselves too.
Housekeeping is excellent, providing new sets of toothbrush and slippers every day. The resort is well maintained and is very clean.
Breakfast was tasty and portion is huge and filling.
One minor thing that might prevent me from booking the resort again is due to the roof which I believe is made out of zinc material, hence during rainy nights it could be very noisy and disrupt your sleep. Apart from that, you can also hear the sound of the neighbours along with their footsteps going up and down the metal stairs.
GGuest UserI had a truly delightful stay at Heritage Hotel. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained, with a stunning view of the scenery outside.
The staff were courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They kindly allowed an early check-in and even upgraded me to a bigger room — such a pleasant surprise!
The location is also very convenient. A GrabCar ride to the Tanah Rata bus terminal costs only about RM 8.
While the breakfast spread is not the most extensive, the dishes served were really delicious and satisfying.
What impressed me the most was the housekeeping service. I left in a hurry for a day tour and forgot to put out the “Make Up Room” sign. When I returned in the evening, I was so happy to find the room neatly tidied, the bed perfectly made up, and fresh towels provided. That level of attentiveness made me feel truly well taken care of.
Thank you to the entire team at Heritage Hotel for making my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on my next visit to Cameron Highlands!
Aamirhmzh🌲 Bala Chalet, Cameron Highlands
• Pros: A truly wonderful stay, with the charm of an old English cottage. Cozy interiors, rustic atmosphere, and the refreshing cool air of the Highlands made it feel timeless.
• Cons: None at all — everything was delightful.
• Summary: This chalet captures the essence of a countryside retreat, reminiscent of a classic English cottage. It’s the kind of place that makes you linger, reluctant to leave, perfect for unwinding and escaping the bustle of city life.
GGuest UserThe lounge has a great ambiance. The rooms are what you'd expect from an older 3 or 4-star hotel. The garden and other facilities are quite nice though.
BBeyond the mapOur stay was unfortunately disrupted for two evenings. We were surprised to find an active construction site next to our tents, where work continued until 9:00 PM. Furthermore, a loud business party with karaoke created noise until 11:00 PM, which was very disruptive for our young children.
To their credit, the receptionist and manager were apologetic and supportive. They ensured all loud noise stopped after 11:00 PM and kindly provided us with a voucher for strawberry picking as a goodwill gesture. The campsite's location was also excellent for visiting local attractions like the tea plantation and enjoying afternoon tea.
However, due to the initial excessive noise and disruption, we cannot recommend this campsite for families with young children. While the staff responded well, the accommodations and amenities do not fully reflect the value for the price per night, and there may be better hotel options in the area for a similar cost.
GGuest UserIt’s pretty well located: near Brinchang, quite close to attractions like Kea Farm, tea plantations, markets, and scenic areas. The hotel is also linked or very near a mall/shopping arcade, convenience stores are just a short walk. That can be very helpful with children. Noise from outside or from adjacent rooms/apartments can be bothersome, but is fine since we come here for outing and attractions. Finally the traffic outside is too congested, not the hotels fault but too many visitors come to cameron highlands nowaday, it's an hour drive from one place to another within short distance.
