Cameron Highlands Hotels with Parking

We had high expectations for this iconic YTL property, but sadly it fell short. While the colonial charm and beautiful surroundings are undeniable, the overall experience didn’t match the premium price. Service was inconsistent throughout our stay. Some staff were warm and attentive, while others seemed indifferent, making the experience feel uneven. For a luxury hotel, we expected much more attention to detail. The property itself is elegant, but parts of it are showing their age and could benefit from refurbishment. Although the atmosphere is peaceful, it wasn’t enough to make up for the service shortcomings. Food also not to expectation .Nasi lemak , the rice is undercooked. Coffee is inconsistent . First Serve was good . Second pot was burnt . Their high tea, sandwiches we stale . Only admirable was their scone with clotted cream & strawberry jam were excellent . Overall, it wasn’t the memorable luxury escape we had hoped for. There are certainly positives, but considering the price, we left feeling disappointed rather than impressed.

Our stay at The Lakehouse Cameron Highlands was nothing short of magical and the perfect way to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly special. What truly set this property apart was the thought and care they put into creating little surprises throughout our stay. Every gesture was heartfelt and personalized, making our anniversary celebration even more memorable. The hotel itself is charming, elegant, and full of old-world character, but it was the people who made the experience exceptional. Every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. No request was too small, and they were always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality felt sincere and effortless, making us feel less like guests and more like family. Thank you to the entire team for making our milestone anniversary so special and unforgettable. We leave with beautiful memories and cannot wait to return.

This hotel is probably one of the best in Cameron Highlands. The front desk and concierge service were excellent. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time.

I’ve been to Cameron Highlands many times, and every time my family would complain about the room cleanliness. But this was honestly the best homestay we’ve stayed in so far! Even though it was just for one night, we felt super comfortable. The rooms were really clean and tidy, which made a big difference. We really enjoyed our stay! We could even see the sunrise in the morning, and it was absolutely beautiful. It made the whole experience even more special.

I've experience is ok. The owner is friendly. View was great. Didn't checked the food as a bit pricey, RM40/pax. I need wheelchair access for my elderly mom, hence was given units at the garden, beautiful flowers. But at night, people gathering at the gardens table can be a bit noisy especially after 1030pm.

Although the apartment is strategically located near many eateries and within walking distance to Centrum Market, the overall stay was disappointing. The apartment is clearly rundown and poorly maintained. The wooden flooring is scratched after long-term use and easily traps dirt. Even though we wore slippers indoors throughout the stay, it still felt unhygienic. We booked a 3bed 3bath unit; while the toilet seat was clean, the inside of the toilet was very dirty. Overall cleanliness was barely acceptable, with many areas appearing insufficiently cleaned. In addition, two of the bathroom water heaters were not working properly, which affected basic usage. I believe this is a unit-specific issue. In unit 302, the Wi-Fi connection was only available at the entrance area near the main door. Once you move further into the living area or bedrooms, the Wi-Fi is not accessible at all. As a result, the TV was also unusable, as it requires a Wi-Fi connection to function. We were later offered a unit exchange to unit 308. Nevertheless new unit offered stable Wi-Fi, slightly clean toilet and all water heater works. However, unit 308 had a noticeable damp and moldy smell in the room. End up we choose to remain at our original unit. Although the staff were helpful and made efforts to assist us, the issues with the old facilities and partially non-functional amenities remained. If you are able to tolerate these shortcomings, the place may still be acceptable.

Its nice view but upon check in at 6pm, the bedsheets is dirty and i had to wait more than 30mins for the staff to ocme and change to new one. The sink are not functioning well, leaking. The wall of the bathroom is very dirty and mushy. Lucky i only stay for 1night.

Strategic location, suitable for a solo traveller like me, i just park my car there, and walk to few tourist attractions.

The location is very strategic and convenient. However, cleanliness could be improved as it felt somewhat unhygienic. There were also no basic cooking facilities like a rice cooker or pot provided. Overall, the experience was just okay.

Pros: - Spacious and comfortable room. - There's a balcony with an outdoor view. - The view from the room is satisfying. - Shops, supermarkets, and many attractions are close to the hotel, easily accessible on foot. Cons: - The reception operates only until 11:30 PM. - If there's a room issue after 11:30 PM, it's very difficult to get assistance. - The hotel reception is located in the apartment block. You have to walk to request a free TNG card. - If you lose your room card, a fine of RM100 is imposed. This is more expensive than a 5-star hotel. This hotel is very strange. - The hotel price is like a 4-5 star hotel, but the breakfast provided is very limited and scarce. The food is like a 2-star hotel. - The toilet has an unpleasant smell. - The staff are quite arrogant when serving customers.
