"I'm so glad I chose Coco Grove. Booking in advance allowed the hotel to arrange a pick-up and drop-off service from the pier, which was incredibly convenient. Even though the pier isn't far, being able to hop straight into a car saved a lot of time. The hotel's coconut grove and beach are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was à la carte and quite good. The service was very prompt; a quick call to the front desk and a staff member would arrive quickly to sort out any issues, including helping with luggage during check-out. The area just off the diving school is amazing for snorkeling – you don't have to go far to see little Nemos and beautiful corals, which were definite bonuses. The rooms have a rustic, natural decor, but cleanliness was never an issue; they were always tidied very well. Overall, I highly recommend it. If you're coming to Siquijor, Coco Grove is the place to be!"

"This was my second time visiting Siquijor. I'd hoped to avoid the crowds, but it was surprisingly busy with both Western tourists and locals. All the good guesthouses were fully booked, so I ended up at Rainbow. The room photos didn't match reality at all. I was assigned a ground-floor room, and as soon as I opened the door, there was a strong musty smell. The overall hygiene was pretty bad; the sheets weren't clean. After two nights, my wrists and thighs broke out in an allergic rash with many small blisters. The bathroom was damp and had wooden furniture, and the toilet seat was a small, ill-fitting one. The toilet paper was so thin it was transparent, and there was hardly any furniture in the room to place belongings. With such a large room and garden area, I don't understand why they couldn't design it better. The food at the guesthouse itself was reasonably priced, but it was too salty and poorly prepared. There were some basic gym facilities outside, good for a quick squat with a couple of weights. The only upside was its proximity to the pier. Due to rising diesel prices, taxis and private charters are generally more expensive now, so remember to haggle. The night sky was beautiful though; I truly witnessed what 'a sky full of stars' means. The two waterfalls in the pictures are worth a visit; they used to be free, but now with more visitors, you have to pay for entry."

"Far from the center, the house wasn't bad at all. There was a cooler with hot and cold water, but no way to fry or cook food.
We saw tuna fish, raw eggs, and some vegetables, but there wasn't much food—everything was spicy, and the buns were spicy and sweet, filled with meat.
Also, for some reason, the Philippines doesn't have peeled and sliced fruit like in Thailand. It's a fruit-heavy country, and tourists don't always have the opportunity to wash and peel fruit. So, you just walk around and eat fruit, and the locals could make a little money doing it.
I rarely make fruit drinks, and coconuts aren't sold or cut everywhere. The locals could make money from this, but it's a shame you can't eat as much fruit as you want.
Fruit is very expensive, and all food is expensive in general, like in Russia, and sometimes even more so."

"Very good hotel with very good views. Owners and workers very nice and helpful. Food is delicious. Rooms with very nice views and very comfortable. Be sure you have a way of transport because it's not so easy to reach on foot. Internet connection was not so good from the room."

"The best apartment of our entire trip!
The rooms are beautifully decorated, decorated with paintings and furnished with meticulous attention to detail. It's immediately obvious that this place has been put to good use.
The room has everything you need, even a first aid kit. You can always get chilled or boiling water for tea or coffee in the courtyard. Cleaning was done daily, and thoroughly. The only drawback was that the room was very humid, and clothes never dried, even though the air conditioning was supposed to dehumidify the air."

"We stayed for 2 nights at Zosimo’s Inn. Our rooms was massive with kitchen and a fridge. Our second room upstairs was where our young adults stayed. The place is clean, room was very welcoming. Bed has the right firmness. Sheets and towels were crisp white.
Toiletries were provided. No Netflix or Disney on the TV. Reception answers inquiries promptly. This was the reason I opted for this place. The price I paid for was just right with breakfast included.
There is a very close walkable street food in Lazi, which was great. Our breakfast was served in a nearby eatery where our meal was prepared as ordered.
Overall, it was a good stay, aside from its distance from the main city- around 30 minutes. I can recommend this place if distance to the noisy main city is not for you.

We are a small, peaceful beach resort close to cafés, restaurants, minimarts, ATMs, and dive shops. We have free wi-fi (Starlink) in the rooms, restaurant and café, a small swimming pool near the beach, and a sunset bar.
We help arrange motorbike rentals and island tours by car/van. Siquijor offers nice beaches, waterfalls, caves, world-class diving and snorkeling, kite surfing, skydiving, and is known as a safe, family-friendly, and hospitable place that is fun to tour.
Our own beach is good for relaxing, sun-bathing, walking/jogging and the sunsets are often beautiful. Guests can also take out our kayaks at high tide. There are good swimming beaches nearby.
December-June is traditionally the high season and July-November the low season, although nowadays we are fully booked pretty much all year-round.
Check-in from 3pm and check-out by 11am. We are 15 minutes / 10km from Siquijor Port and 45 minutes / 20km from Larena Port. Tricycles/taxis are readily available at the ports. We also offer pick up and drop-off for a fee. For the transfer service please contact us a couple of days in advance to book and call/whatsapp again when boarding the ferry to reconfirm the exact time, as boats can be delayed.
We have full generator back up in case of power cuts and clean/safe groundwater from our own upland deep well.
Free cancellation until 7 days before arrival, after which we charge one night. For “no show” we charge the full stay.
Please also note that we are a non-smoking property, with a designated smoking area near the beach.

MmajgatzWe recently stayed at Kalachuchi Beach Resort and absolutely loved it! Located about 30 minutes from the port, this secluded gem offers a tranquil escape with its own private beach.
The villas are spacious and comfortable, with two large beds and hot/cold showers. We appreciated the quiet and secluded atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the food at the restaurant was delicious and generous in portion size.
The resort boasts a lovely pool and a private beach, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. While WiFi is limited to the reception, pool, and restaurant area, the lack of mobile signal actually encouraged us to truly disconnect and enjoy our vacation.
A note for travelers: The Google Maps location is inaccurate, so be sure to double-check directions before arriving.
Overall, Kalachuchi Beach Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing escape in Siquijor 🤍

GGuest UserWir haben insgesamt 5 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Anreise ist ein bisschen holprig, weil es nur eine Schotterstraße bis zum Hotel gibt. Die Anlage an sich ist aber wunderschön. Es gibt einen großen Pool, ein tolles Fitnessstudio und einen schönen Strand, der jeden Tag sauber gemacht wird. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und der direkte Poolzugang von der Terrasse aus war ein echtes Highlight. Frühstück kann man sich jeden Morgen aus 4 Optionen aussuchen und es schmeckt sehr gut. Wir waren auch oft abends im Restaurant essen, weil es so lecker war. Zu anderen Restaurants muss man zudem auch ein ganzes Stück fahren, weil das Resort ein wenig abgelegen ist. Einen Tag haben wir uns über fad Hotel einen Roller gemietet, was super unkompliziert war. Ein echtes Highlight sind die Mitarbeiter, die durch die Bank weg alle sehr nett sind. Auch der Eigentümer ist den ganzen Tag auf der Anlage und hat uns sogar ein paar Tips im Fitnessstudio gegeben. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

GGuest UserWe're stayed only 24h, because Covid striked just then and country started to go lockdown. We had about 48h to leave country, but the owner canceled our bookings with a smile on his face and welcomed back when it was possible again. Such an excellent place/owner/staff. They even served bf to our rooms in the morning before we left to the ferry. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent location next to beach. Highly recommended and definitely we will come back to finish our holidays in this cool resort. ❤️

- the pool is really small, just for chilling, not swimming.
- Mobile network signal is bad or non-existent. Hotel wifi is very very slow most of the time.
The rest was amazing.
Very beautiful setting, very clean resort, amazing restaurant, super friendly helpful and attentive staff.
You can also hire snorkelling equipment from them (must do! Lots of fun and pretty safe), and can hire a scooter directly via hotel (very easy and smooth process). Overall loved my stay and will happily stay there again!!!

GGuest UserI had the best time staying at mad monkey siquijor. Nelson was amazing and took the time to know everyone's name and treated everyone like a true friend. Definitely give this man a raise! He was a whole vibe! The facilities are cleaned daily and all of the staff is helpful making recommendations or helping to arrange transport. Rooms were very spacious with hot water, AC, and privacy curtains. Highly recommend if you're on the island. Shout out to Pablo the accountant too he and all of the staff make this place so special! Thanks again for everything!

Ma mi devo concentrare purtroppo su altri aspetti che possono rovinare o comunque influenzare molto il soggiorno. Le camere sono sia sul davanti che sul dietro e qui vengono mostrate maggiormente quelle davanti che godono di migliore posizione pulizia e silenzio. Purtoppo noi siamo capitati dietro per le due notti che siamo rimasti ed eravamo proprio davanti alla cucina. Gruppi di persone che soggiornavano lì hanno fatto confusione dall’una di notte fino la mattina o comunque almeno fino alle 4 e mezzo di mattina e alle 6.30 c’era gente che già cucinava e faceva casino. Non si gode di riposo e rispetto quindi io la eviterei. Inoltri i bagni i comune non hanno mensole e ripiani per appoggiare le cose e, oltre a essere molto sporchi, a causa di ospiti con livelli di igiene bassa, non sapevamo come muoverci e dove mettere i prodotti del bagno. Carta igienica sempre bagnata perché accanto alla doccia. Il posto sarebbe carino ma oltre a trovarsi in una via isolata, non ci ha permesso di riposare per queste situazioni. Personale gentile e disponibile ma inutile inerire tante regole se poi non vengono rispettate.

GGuest UserWe availed one seaview room and 1 highway view room. The highway room was so clean, like newly renovated, its perfect. Spacious, mlamig na aircon and new. Unlike the seaview room, mejo natanggal na ang paints sa may cr, and aircon is mejo luma and may konting alikabok. But OVERALL, WE LOVE IT. Just a few touch lang sa seaview. Will recommend this to friends and family!!
