"The hotel was clean and tidy, with an excellent location. The constant supply of iced water in the corridors was a plus, and the breakfast was good. The main problem was the sheer number of mosquitoes in the city, making it completely unsuitable for a June visit. The mosquitoes were rampant outdoors, but seemed unable to enter the rooms. Additionally, we were told the metro was closed when we tried to go sightseeing; this is the city's only metro line, but we were told it was not operating both times we needed it. Taxi traffic was also extremely congested on the main road between Mamayevsky Prospekt and Lenin Square during rush hour."
