"The hotel is in the heart of the city. Very clean and very spacious bedrooms with very comfortable king bed you either get harbour view or the street view. Breakfast was excellent with different variety of your choice. The roof top restaurant was spectacular harbour views. The staff is friendly and helpful. Will stay again. Highly recommended."

"We spent one night at the beginning and one at the end of our trip in Orty Hotel. On the first night the air-conditioning was not working. On our second night the air-con was working, but we had mosquitoes in our room despite the net that was installed in front of the window. Therefore sleep quality was reduced on both nights. Otherwise good services and nice staff."

Unfortunately the day we checked in the hotel had issues with the room keycards system so we were not given the keycards until late in the evening. But no fault of the staff as they tried very hard to make sure we could get into our room each time."

"Friendly hotel staff nearby folkart I came to do business and it was close. I expected the interior of the room to be more luxurious for the price I paid. I paid almost 200 euros for 1 room, so I expected a nice room, but I did not get this and the smell coming from outside is cat food smells very bad. They had put me on a low floor, unfortunately not a high one. so the price/quality ratio is poor, I wouldn't pay more than €90 for this room but unfortunately I paid almost €200 for this room. unfortunately i didn’t take pictures of the room because i were busy with business otherwise i would add pictures of the room that i paid too much for it’s defo not worth €200."

"I checked into marina hotel just after midnight and there was a gentleman there to meet me, the room I was given was pleasantly good, clean and fairly big, and even had a little balcony that looked out onto the main street. Big bonus that the air-conditioning worked well
The mattress was comfortable for me but the firm, however the pillows were like 2 sack of bricks really terrible.
Basic amenities provided and a mini fridge with some refreshments all reasonably priced.
Bathroom shower had abit of mould but that is not uncommon for these hot humid places.wotu not proper vent extraction.
My only 2 complaints, the wifi isn't the greatest struggle to video call my family using it as it kept cutting out.
And there was a vent between my bathroom and the next room and I could hear every time they went to the toilet, showered or blowdried their hair.
Otherwise I felt safe as a solo woman and it was a pleasant few days stay location was fantastic, right near (8-10 min walk Basmane station (which takes you directly to Ephesus, also close to the trams which take you easily anywhere."

The concerts inside the courtyard/restaurant are nice and I was nicely surprised to see how quiet it is in the room nonetheless.
The negative side is the price. Very expensive, even to stay in a historical han.

GGuest UserThe hotel is big and very industrial. Booked a 2 bedroom grand suite. The communal areas are very big and well furnished. The master bedroom is a good size but the 2nd bedroom is very cramped for twin beds. The kitchen is well equipped but as an apartment for 4 only had crockery and glasses for 2.
The area is very grubby as it is in the heart of the car workshops.
The communal areas in the hotel are very grubby and look dirty and rundown except for the reception area.
Would not use again and in my opinion £400 for 2 nights was excessive.
That said the buffet breakfast was exceptionally good.

GGuest UserWe only stayed here for one night but thought it was amazing and great value for money. the staff are so hospitable and helpful & there’s amazing spaces to hang out in the hotel. Room was clean and comfy. The bartender Yasin is great fun, provides an excellent service and makes you feel so welcome, it was nice to briefly get to know him. Breakfast is incredible and so fresh.

JJosef1064I got upgraded from an economy to a standard room on the 4th level with a great view of Pagos Hill and Kadifekale Castle.
Situated in a local neighghborhood that come across as being dodgy but was in fact rather save.
It's a 5 minutes walk Basmane station to get to Izmir I +- 1 hour,v Pammukale +-3 hours and to the airport 20minutes.
The room was clean albeit small and a buffet breakfast of assorted breads, hard boiled eggs , olives, tomatoes , cucumbers, cheeses along with jams and honey was good enough kick off the day with tea and coffee included.
It's also walking distance to the Agora Open Air Museum and the Kemeraltı Bazaar.
I had a comfortable stay here and as a solo budget traveller, the Olimpiyat serves my purpose.
I was given a small gift when I checked out which was indeed a pleasant surprise.

GGuest UserA hotel bathed in its original state. For the price, it's normal. However, if you're sensitive to the smell of tobacco, avoid it at all costs. All the rooms reek of cigarettes, and it's worse when you turn on the air conditioning. The staff was kind enough to give me another room, but it was the same problem.
The breakfast is decent.

MmenaselttilehtThe location is super central. We checked in late at night after a long journey, and the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly respectful, welcoming, and attentive. I had requested a quiet room when booking, and it was on the top floor. We didn't hear any noise at all. The rooms were quite spacious, bright, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were soft. The bathroom was spotless. We were able to get a very restful sleep after our long journey. Breakfast was included in the price and was perfectly adequate. The breakfast offered 3-4 types of jams, chocolate spread, cereals, börek, simit, a variety of cheeses, fresh tea, and freshly brewed coffee. This is definitely a hotel that offers excellent value for money.

GGuest UserThis is the worst experience I have ever had when booking a hotel online. On the first day, I arrived at the hotel alone. The pretty lady at the hotel counter explained to me that coffee, tea, and water were all free, and everything else had to be paid. Also emphasized that the room is a non-smoking room. I was also asked to sign a document. It's a coincidence that it was very cold on this day, for me as a person from Taiwan. I don't know if I don't know it, and I'll be shocked if I stay there. Originally, I chose the most expensive room mainly because I thought the room was big enough, so it should have better sound insulation. I didn’t expect this weird room to be really weird. The kettle was filled with white scale. I tried to clean it at first, but later I found that it couldn't be cleaned at all, and it was all covered with white powder. I said I wanted to get a new one. I still had to wait until the next morning to go to the counter and ask for it to be replaced. What's even more exaggerated is that the air conditioner is placed in the kitchen. Then imagine that you can transmit the air conditioning from the kitchen to your master bedroom through the living room. As you can imagine, it's simply impossible. And the hotel staff didn't think this was a problem.
So in order to prevent myself from freezing to death, I took a Youyou card and inserted it in my room. I didn’t even dare to get up when I went out, for fear that the temperature in the room would drop. The next day, my boyfriend arrived. I asked him to go to the counter and get me two bottles of water. A boy's waiter told him 60 Turkish dollars, and the next day I thought to myself that I would find the waitress and she would return it. The result is really a pipe dream. After explaining a lot, I can give you a few bottles of water if you want. As long as the money goes into their pockets, they can never take it out. The sound insulation of the room is also extremely poor. Anyway, you can complain about everything you can think of.
The most important thing that made me furious was leaving for the day. He said to make sure we had snacks. Since I'm not in the habit of eating snacks in restaurants, I thought there shouldn't be any, but then he said yes, so I was sure my boyfriend had some. Told me a bunch of stuff. I heard chocolate,,,, and two bottles of water. I asked him if water doesn’t cost money? He said the two bottles in the refrigerator were charged. I really don’t think that’s how business works. He said he wanted 190 Turkish dollars. I directly gave him 200 yuan, and he pretended that there was no change for ten yuan at the counter. I asked him to keep it because the driver outside was waiting for us to go to the airport.
Really, really, really don’t book this room. Because once you order, you are guaranteed to regret it.
The scenery and people in Türkiye are really great. But the service quality of this hotel really deducted points for Türkiye. It's simply embarrassing.

DDr. Dennis E. EricsonMitte Port Konak Hotel's infrastructure is very new and they have a great breakfast, they have a local variety of cheese very good pastries and some roasted mushrooms and potatoes. So big variety of jams and fruits.
Their spa and Turkish bath was closed when we try to visit normally they say it's free to use for every guest.
The room had not enough windows but the AC was working powerful to the cooldown. Only problem beds are a little small. Wi-Fi is working well. There was a mini fridge. They have safe lockers in the room. They have TV. The bathroom is very good, hot water and water pressure was perfect. Except toothbrush they provide everything.
The location of the hotel is good if you travel with your car or take a taxi but walking to public transportation is a little hard. It may cost 50 TL from the Konak Meydan to the hotel by taxi better not talk during the night.
The hotel staff was very nice to us and other guests. There are many local customers and abroad from a variety of countries from France, China, Iran, France etc.
