I wanted to stay in a cave hotel in Turkey, so I chose this hotel. Since it is located in Göreme town, I was able to see the hot air balloons very clearly and up close. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of food every morning. There were also some adorable dogs at the hotel, including a cute puppy, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and honestly, I have nothing to complain about. It was a wonderful stay from start to finish.

The rooms are really unique, like actual cave rooms. We booked one on the ground floor and another halfway up the hill. I'd recommend choosing a lower-level room when booking, otherwise, carrying luggage can be a hassle. Also, the nearby bars close around 11:30, but the restaurant's view is truly amazing, it more than makes up for it. You can even see hot air balloons before 6:30 – it's a beautiful sight!

I was very sceptical at first, but oh was I wrong. An absolutely wonderful authentic stay. The decoration has made it feel like I’m somewhere really cultural, enriching the whole Cappadocia experience! Though I would probably appreciate if the doors were more soundproof. I was right next to the reception and could basically hear anything, but it was luckily quiet at night. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the lady preparing it was very kind. Not to mention how the other staff were very friendly. I will definitely be coming back! Recommend 100%

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the views from the rooms were amazing! The breakfast was lavish and I looked forward to it every morning. The staff were very kind and always polite. The mascot cat, Kuroneko, was also cute. Uchisar is at a higher altitude than Goreme, so the views are generally beautiful and I personally recommend it. (It's not too far from the hot air balloon spot either.) I'd love to stay here again if I come to Cappadocia!

We had an absolutely wonderful 2-night stay at Noah’s Ark Cave Hotel. Staying in a genuine cave room was such a unique and memorable experience, and the room was comfortable, clean, and full of character. The host was exceptional—friendly, caring, and always willing to help with anything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. The team also assisted us with booking our hot air balloon flight and Red Tour, making our Cappadocia trip completely stress-free. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh local food, and the location was perfect for exploring Göreme and enjoying the beautiful views. Thank you for making our stay so special. I had doubts when I made booking - the hotel didn’t have many reviews. I took the risk though and it was well worth it. My stay at Hira cave was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and beautiful, the bed was comfortable - I slept like a baby all 5 nights. The view from the terrace was fascinating and breakfast was delicious as well - the photographs are attached. The owners were friendly and helped to arrange pick up from the airport, shared a few useful hints about the hikes and did everything to make my stay memorable. Thank you very much, I will come back!

Our stay at Cappadocia Cave Lodge was truly wonderful, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and cared for. What stood out to me the most was the genuine kindness and attentiveness of the staff. They were always so thoughtful, helpful, and attentive to every little detail, and you could really feel that they cared about their guests having a comfortable and memorable stay. It never felt like just a hotel stay — it felt like we were genuinely looked after. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The cave architecture, the design of the rooms, and all the little decorative details create such a unique and special atmosphere. Everything feels carefully thought out, while still maintaining the authentic character of Cappadocia. Our room was not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Everywhere we looked, there was another beautiful detail to appreciate. The whole property has such a warm, elegant, and authentic feeling that makes the experience even more special. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was truly top-notch. From the room setup to the common areas and the overall atmosphere, everything was done with so much care. It is clear that a lot of thought goes into making guests feel comfortable and giving them a memorable experience. Another thing I really appreciated was the value for money. Considering the quality of the accommodation, the beautiful location, the service, and especially the level of care and hospitality from the staff, the price was absolutely worth it. The overall value was amazing, and I genuinely feel that we received much more than we expected. What made our stay especially memorable, however, was the people. The staff's warmth and hospitality made such a difference, and I am very grateful for how well we were treated throughout our stay. It is rare to find a place where you can feel that the staff genuinely want you to enjoy your time there. Cappadocia Cave Lodge was honestly one of the highlights of our trip, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Cappadocia. Everything — the architecture, the beautiful rooms, the atmosphere, the attention to detail, the service, and the incredible hospitality — came together to make our stay truly special. I sincerely hope that we will have the opportunity to come back again in the future. If we return to Cappadocia, I would absolutely choose Cappadocia Cave Lodge again without hesitation. We booked 3 rooms for a group of 7 people. The air conditioner in one room was not working. When contacted, the staff who was first sent to check, insisted the AC was working and then said it was not the hotel’s problem. This was surprising and disappointing from a pure service perspective given the high reviews this property has across several booking platform. The lady in charge of the evening shift eventually agreed the AC was not working and gave us a basket of fruit as an apology but they were not able to fix the issue until the next day and provided some pedestal fans overnight. They again provided more fruit and bottled water the next morning before we left for our day tour as another apology. However the service (especially the initial reaction by the staff) and amenity scores are heavily impacted by this experience. Another issue was a slight leak from the bathtub in our room which ended up making half the floor wet afterwards every time someone took a shower. This again has resulted in a lower cleanliness and amenity score. The hotel were able to accommodate our request to have rooms on the ground level to avoid too much climbing up and down stairs (we had members of our party who had slight mobility issues) - which was a positive, however, these rooms overlooked the road which the hotel straddles and so fairly loud traffic can be be heard throughout the day and also very early in the morning (3:30am) from those leaving for their hot air balloon trips. The rooms don’t seem to have much sound proofing. Note: this is magnified by the fact that this road is at the top of a hill so motorists have to gun their engines to get to the top making the noise louder. These few issues overshadowed what was otherwise a decent experience. The breakfast buffet is great with a wide variety of options - service was great at the buffet. The rooftop terrace where you can sit and relax and watch the hot air balloons fly overhead early in the morning is another highlight.

I really liked this hotel; the cave hotel concept is perfectly executed. The location is excellent, the room has all the necessary amenities, and the rooftop offers a great view for watching the balloons at sunrise. Breakfast is a standard buffet: vegetables, eggs, sausages, and a large variety of sweets and fruits. The only downside is the lack of windows, which causes a slight, but not critical, musty smell. The staff's service was outstanding – we had a plumbing issue which was resolved within an hour, and afterwards, they brought a fruit platter to our room as an apology. They also provided wine glasses for us to use outside the hotel in the evening, as per our request. Even though there were many guests during our stay, we didn't hear any noise in our room. Overall, for its price, the hotel fully delivers on quality and service.

We stayed here 3 nights. December. Simple hotel with an open courtyard & we were in quad family room. When booking, we requested for cave room as we see there are pics of room that does not look like cave. Upon arrival we were given non-cave room (because it's a slightly bigger room compared to cave) we like that it's at level 1. Right at courtyard. It is convenient & nice to just hangout there. We checked with reception and requested to stay in a cave room. The reception was very helpful & allowed us to change for the next two nights after showing us how the cave room looks. My teenage girls love Lucky the dog (part of the reason why we picked this hotel) after reading reviews, and there are also 3-4 cats. They totally enjoyed the stay having these cute company. Breakfast was good enough & location is good too. We took bus to uchisar, even to derinkuyu on our own. Not too tough. Bus station within walking distance. Only hope to improve is the cave room toilet can be very stuffy. And the shower area can be curtained to prevent water from splashing around. Overall we are happy with our stay. And all the staff are helpful & nice.
