"We decided to go to Cappadocia from Kyzylgach (~500 km) to watch the launch of balloons.
We chose this hotel on Trip Advisor because the price per night suited us, and it was conveniently located (not far from the entrance and the center). The hotel is small, there is a parking space. It seemed to me that locals mostly stay there. The room is clean, everything is there. The staff does not speak Russian, they try to speak English, but it is almost impossible to understand🤦. But these are trifles, since they met and accommodated us without any problems. The price includes breakfast - a buffet. Also, no frills, but delicious, you will definitely not go hungry. In addition, there are 100500 cafes 100 meters from the hotel. In general, for a one-two-day overnight stay, it is very good."

"On the first day, when we checked in, we discovered there were three beds. We'd booked a single king-size room, but we'd forgotten to put the two beds together. The waitress pushed the beds together right in front of us. She then grabbed a sheet from the storage and threw it carelessly on the floor. Once the beds were put together, she spread the sheet on top of them. The next day was even more ridiculous. When I showered, I realized I hadn't been given shower gel. I asked the front desk, but they said they didn't know and were out of shower gel. Could they give it to me tomorrow? I refused, and after waiting for over an hour, the waitress finally brought the shower gel. Overall, the hotel service was excellent, but the facilities were disappointing."

"This hotel is located in the small town of Ortahisar. A shuttle bus from NAV Airport takes you directly to the hotel for 400 lira. While not as bustling as Goreme, it's quite quiet. There's a large supermarket right outside, making shopping convenient. The hotel is about a ten-minute taxi ride from Goreme town. We arrived late, and the owner waited for us until after midnight. His dog, Cinnamon, was also there.
The room was clean and the decor was unique. The owner also kept the grounds very cozy.
The owner prepared a hearty breakfast in the morning. He also came to clean the room every day for the two days we stayed.
For travel, you can ask the owner any questions directly, and he also helped us find taxi drivers at reasonable prices! Highly recommended! 👍🏻"

GGuest UserOur stay at Simurg Cave House Hotel was the best stay so far in our 12 day road trip around Cappadocia. What made it so special was the staff, and in particular Bursa! Her English was brilliant (our Turkish is nonexistent) and she told us of things to do, places to visit, etc. She really pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a relaxing pleasant stay. She even helped us with our next accommodation stay due to a technical problem we were having.
The breakfast was phenomenal and we felt full until dinner. The rooms are beautiful and extremely quiet do we got a great nights sleep. A quiet room is a priority for me!
On our arrival at the hotel there was a lot of noisy construction work going on and Bursa dealt with it so we could get some rest after our long journey. It would have been nice if there hadn't been any construction work going on but we understand improvements have to be done sometime! The only thing I'd suggest to the hotel is that they spruce up the rooms when the guests go out for the day. For example, there is a coffee machine in the room but we were never given more coffee or clean cups, and we stayed 3 nights. But other than that, the stay was perfect and we'd definitely return again! And we hope the lovely Bursa is there to greet us.
Thanks to everyone at the hotel for everything you did to make our stay so great.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Potamia Cave Hotel for 3 nights, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The cave room was beautifully designed. Cozy, clean, and full of authentic caves. Every corner of the hotel felt magical and thoughtfully maintained.
The staff were incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay, with delicious Turkish breakfast and a great variety of local dishes that made every morning special.
The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and romantic, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Cappadocia. Waking up in a cave room was such a unique and memorable experience.
Thank you to the entire Potamia Cave Hotel team for the wonderful hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. We would love to come back again!

AAnonymous UserA very nice and fairy-like hotel with the United Nations Cultural Heritage logo. The rooms are great and the hotel environment is first-class. This is a real cave hotel, so there is no signal in the cave, the WiFi is not stable, and small particles may fall off the wall. But both the service and the room are excellent. You can truly experience the local characteristics and local customs, which is completely different from those dressed up as caves!

MM343235****It was fantastic! The accommodation was very clean, the room had great natural light, and there was a large living room and dining room. There was also underfloor heating in the winter. More importantly, the owner, Ali, speaks some Chinese and even took us to see hot air balloons. He's incredibly kind, and his wife's restaurant is also delicious. We've become good friends.

If you like Gothic architecture and something different bored of the same old boutique hotels this is a place to come visit. The blood pool in the hell dungeon is amazing with snakes and stone on the ceiling. If you are into rock music Gothic medieval and still want the luxuries this is the place you have to come see.

We had a family King number.
It is big and cozy. Real cave, even the toilet in the cave. Characteristic darkness, but it only gives authenticity.
We lived in the room for 3 days and did not want to leave!
Very qualitative breakfasts are served. Fresh omlet, roasted cheese and green tubes, all kinds of cheeses, fresh vegetables, a plate with different varenings, fresh bread, coffee and tea are personally cooked for the family. We have always been satisfied and satisfied!
We didn't have time to leave the hotel, as there was a desire to return to our cozy cave again!
And what the view opens from the terrace!
The hotel is located on the top of the hill.
Important: The hotel is located in the village of Mustafa Pasha, it is about 20 km from Goreme (the tourist center) and not all the tours of Goreme take away from this hotel. But we are lucky our company Atmosphere took us from Mustafa Pasha without any supplements.
Just 5 km from Mustafa Pasha there is a town of Urgyup. You can get there by bus. It goes from the central square of Mustafa Pasha. It costs 30 lira.
For me, the location, remote from the noisier tourist center, was a plus.
There is no crowd of tourists here. And all in 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel you can see the cave monastery and church and other buildings completely free and at all without people. It's great. Near Goreme for such museums under the open sky take payment and a lot of people there.
This hotel I and all my family are happy with everything 100%. I also studied hotel reviews before the trip and they didn't fail! As agreed with all the positive reviews. The hotel owners were very hospitality and we would love to come back there with great pleasure!

Location; Perfect! - 5Min. away from the old town and ”Balıkıgöl”.
Personnel; not to overtake! - The staff is overtaking to friendliness and customer friendliness. The diving relationship is built immediately.
Do not look at guides or similar about .... The staff and the management are best informed and are happy to give tips and tour proposals.

IIbrahimThe hotel ***meat was clean. Our room was large enough and used. The workers were laughing. Orelin's location was in Uruguay's centre and the transportation was easy. However, the hotel's aesthetic image was bad for the hotels around it. The breakfast was weak, the food was not hot, and the hotel was enough according to its price.
