"The room was clean & quiet & comfortable. The breakfasts were reasonable but I wish there were more dairy-free options: coconut or almond milk for cereals, eggs without cheese. I especially appreciate the eco-friendly room service, where you can choose what gets laundered when, in addition to the refillable products available in dispensers instead of the waste of a bunch of little plastic bottles in the bathroom. I appreciated that housekeeping staff were off for Christmas Day: it showed care for the staff to give them important family time off."

"The hotel was alright but when it comes to checking in and out is another thing it was a hassle paid for the hotel online with my CashApp card and when I had arrived and they asked for a security deposit fee and I had asked them if they accepted CashApp being how they took it the first time they told me no they didn’t accept it and that I would have to either have cash or a bank card that isn’t CashApp, Venmo, Chime, PayPal etc rude as can be and not only to mention they had kicked me out my room until I had paid a security deposit fee for my pet and later that night I had paid the pet fee and the staff was nothing but disrespectful but the day of check out I woke up late and apologized to the housekeepers and they were nothing but rude and told me that I had 5 minutes to get out or else there were going to be police there and I had a lot of stuff in my room being how I stayed a few days there but and 5 minutes wasn’t going to be good enough for me so I had asked if I can get a little bit more time and after I had got everything out they were nothing but nice as can be asking if help was needed and I told them that I didn’t need any help from them got everything into my car and walked back in so I can get my security deposit fee back and I was denied my security deposit fee and I want and I am going to be calling the head honcho and reporting that and everything else. This is not the first time either that this has happened to me"

"Hotel was good, good location for where I needed to go, first time stay at Tru and boy what a disappointment. Go downstairs for breakfast and asked staff who was laid back on sofa, where are the eggs? She replied in a not so friendly way there are no eggs today, no explanation no nothing. Last time I will stay at this chain, all hotels in area serve breakfast with eggs, if it is an order issue the manager should be reprimanded, if a staff didn't feel like making eggs issue the manager should address it. I thought I went to a third tier chain motel!"

"American town hotels are clean, tidy and cheap at key prices. It’s just that there is nothing in the breakfast, and it’s not very popular. In the end, I also overcharged the room rate for a long time. Overall is OK."

"My granddaughters just moved to Michigan from California. I searched for a hotel recently priced and landed at countryside. I was extremely pleased. The room was comfortable clean., affordable. The hotel was quiet. I spoke with other guest who are very pleasant so we had all around good experience and we will be back."
