"We were still traveling a few days ago, so I didn't have time to write a review. Now that I'm home, I want to give a proper review of this ******* guesthouse. Out of all the places we stayed during our Gannan road trip, this was by far the most satisfying. The entire guesthouse has a rich ******* ambiance, and the room's hygiene and facilities were impeccable. What's even more noteworthy is the ******* clothing experience – it was truly fantastic! All 8 of us took photos and group pictures in the garden, and the owner even took them for us. The accommodation is also very close to Labrang Monastery, which we walked to. I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"The room was small and poorly soundproofed; you could hear your neighbors talking. The toilet seat had fallen off, and there was no hairdryer in the room, making it inconvenient to wash your hair. The only downside was the beautiful courtyard, where you could relax in the evenings. Definitely avoid the restaurant next door!"

"This guesthouse is very near Labrang Monastery, within 5 mins walking. It stands in a small street next to the Xia river. There're many restaurants around, both western and local food. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Our room was on the second floor and they helped us to lift our luggage upstairs. Downstairs is a restaurant you can enjoy easy meal and good coffee/tea. The decoration is nice. The house is bright and the air flow is great. There're spots both upstairs and downstairs to sit to relax. And if you add their WeChat they would answer every question quickly. The bus station is around 1.5 km away. You can walk easily there and with taxi it costs only 2 yuan per person."

"The guesthouse is super close to Labrang Monastery, within walking distance. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was soft, and the lighting was great, making for a very comfortable stay. The owners were very thoughtful; they even provided oxygen cylinders, so there was absolutely no need to worry about altitude sickness. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Xiahe! 👏👏"

"Incredible stay at the Xicheng Inn. The hotel is very cozy with fascinating decor. I loved spending time in the third-floor library, filled with cultural artifacts, games, and books – you'll never get bored! The hospitality from the hotel staff is also unmatched. I stayed alone but never felt lonely. They take guests on walks around the city to discover ******* culture. I recommend staying here not only for the comfort of the hotel but also for the wonderfully warm atmosphere. 在Xicheng Inn 的入住体验令人难忘。酒店装饰别致温馨，三楼的图书室尤其迷人——里面摆满了文化工艺品、游戏和书籍，待上一整天都不会无聊！酒店员工的待客之道无可挑剔，我虽是独自旅行，却从未感到孤单。他们会带客人漫步古城，领略藏地文化风情。我强烈推荐这里，不仅因为舒适的住宿环境，更因那份宾至如归的温暖氛围。"

"We absolutely loved our stay at 山古民宿 Shangu Homestay. The room was spacious, well presented in ******* style, and kept wonderfully warm with underfloor heating. The window-side lounge area was so cozy that we didn’t want to leave after three nights. Dinner was a highlight—the ******* hotpot was delicious, with fresh yak meat, vegetables, and noodles. Breakfast included fruit, ******* butter tea, and tsampa, giving us a real taste of local traditions. The host was incredibly welcoming and shared fascinating stories about ******* culture, nomadic life, and even how to make incense. During our stay, it snowed heavily, and our children had a fantastic time playing in the snow with the host. It was not just accommodation, but a cultural journey filled with warmth and unforgettable memories. "The room was large and new. I went to the National Day. The room was very cold as soon as I entered the door. The boss opened the electric blanket and provided electric heating. After we came back from the outside after dinner, the temperature of the room was very comfortable. If you need breakfast, you need to book with the boss in advance. The boss will do it according to the reservation the next day, but it is an extra charge. The taste is very good. Even the children eat an extra roll. Toiletries, towels and bath towels are all disposable utensils. That is, the yard needs to be cleaned up again, or they can't help their floor-to-ceiling windows 😂"
