After a long day of driving through Oregon, we were in need of a comfortable place to rest—and we found just that at the Historic Gilchrist Waterfront Resort. We called and spoke with Teresa, who was incredibly gracious and welcoming. Despite our last-minute request, she went out of her way to find us a room and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. The resort itself is charming and peaceful, nestled along the water with beautiful views and a cozy atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long journey. Teresa’s kindness and genuine hospitality truly stood out and made our stay memorable. If you're passing through Crescent or looking for a quiet getaway in the area, we highly recommend the Historic Gilchrist Waterfront Resort. "Vince and Luisa are great hosts. We arrived on motorcycles in the pouring rain and Vince came out to greet us and show us our room which was spotless and decorated with love. They even offered us their vehicle to go out for dinner. The room was the cleanest motel room I have ever stayed in. They get 11 out of 10 for their lovely motel and customer service. I highly recommend the Golden West Motel and will stay there again"

"This is a nicely kept motel with a couple of cabins, RV spaces, as well as quiet,clean, comfortable rooms. The rooms have air conditioning as well as a mini refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment which I really appreciate to refresh my ice packs. Parking is right outside your room. This is a family run business. The owners are on site and are very accommodating and friendly."

"We booked this last minute and were so happy with the chalet that we were in (Chalet 508). Really perfect for a family with 2 kids. Our kids LOVED having their own beds in their own upstairs loft space just for them. The chalet is spacious with a great outdoor deck. Really calm and we didn't even notice the neighbors. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Really easy to make dinner and everything. The only thing that was missing was a bigger pot to make food in, but no complaints apart from that. We would stay here again."
