"Our stay at gokulam grand resorts and spa coorg was pleasant. Got a warm welcome on arrival. The room was nice, though not very spacious. The swimming pool was quite large and kept very clean, we enjoyed it. We were very happy with the variety and taste of foods. The staff were very cooperative and friendly. Overall, it was a great experience."

"We came to know about this place by a colleague who raved about this gem. Having high expectations we reached here and it didn't disappoint. Situated just before entering main Madikeri, you won't understand the scale of the property when entering from highway. Once the staff gets you checked in from the viewing point, you'll truly understand how massive this property is. Spanning 125 acres you'll see 3-4 lakes within the property and lush green view everywhere. You would expect property of this size to have more than 100 rooms atleast but it barely has 45 rooms/suites in total. If you like walking and to be in nature, this is the place to stay. Although this expansivess may prove to be slightly cumbersome if you want to go to the main dining area or main gate from your rooms. We saw many young guests unwilling to walk even though it was barely 7 min walks to main dining and activities areas. For elderly and senior citizens, these longer than normal distances may become a serious handicap. While they have a fully fleged cart service within, they take around 15-20 mins to come each time you call them. So you should plan accordingly depending who you are coming with. Coming to the rooms, we took the wooden cottage with forest view and it was pretty spacious and roomy. The view was good although I felt the lake view might have been better. Nonetheless, the room was ample big and spacious at the price point. The main dining area was around 7 min walk from our room and the staff was very friendly and great. There also was a big coffee area with a great view where evening coffee and snacks were served. The food at the breakfast spread was good and served variety of South and North indian items. However, the dinner spread was okayish as we felt there could have been more local Coorg delicacies options provided. Tastewise and quality wise the food was great, no complaints there. The coffee area was also a great place to hangout and just enjoy some light snacks and coffee. As part of the overall package, there were certain walking tours also available on the property itself. The bird watching walk was great as the guide helped the group point out and identify different kinds of local and rare bird flying around in the area. The coffee walk was also good the guide explained the gistory of coffee and how it came to India centuries ago. There were also many coffee plants scattered all around the property and how to distinguish amongst them. Overall it was a great stay being nestled in the nature. Good food, great service and very close to the city for sightseeing. Definitely worth staying and more importantly revisiting. 10/10!"

"We stayed at Coorg Wilderness Resort & Spa for two nights while attending a wedding nearby, and what initially seemed like a convenient and romantic accommodation choice ended up becoming one of the highlights of our trip. We travelled from Kannur Airport and reached the area around midday. As we were arriving on an early flight, we had enquired about an early check-in. The resort follows a standard check-in time of 3 PM, with check-ins between 10 AM and 2 PM charged at 50% of the applicable room rate, so we planned our arrival accordingly. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was evident. The staff promptly took care of our luggage, and Ms. Punam made the check-in process smooth, informative, and welcoming. We had booked directly through the resort website, where only credit card details are taken at the time of booking, with payment being completed on arrival using the same card. As the resort is spread across a large hillside property, Ms. Punam accompanied us to our suite and explained everything ***** the way, including the restaurants, swimming pool, spa, gym, activity areas, and buggy services. Once we reached the room, she gave one of the most detailed room orientations we have experienced, explaining the French press coffee setup, fruit basket, dry fruits, room controls, balcony access, activity timings, what was included in our package, what was chargeable, and even precautions regarding the monkeys that occasionally visit the balconies. We stayed in a Grand Grove View Suite, as the Wilderness category rooms were unavailable for our dates, and we did not regret the choice for a moment. The suite was spacious, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally comfortable. The attached bathtub was perfect for unwinding after a long day, and the resort also surprised us with a complimentary cake, which was both thoughtful and delicious. One of our favourite features was the large covered balcony. Even during the rain, we could comfortably sit outside with a cup of coffee and enjoy the scenery. The views across the property were stunning. What impressed us most was that the landscape seemed to change constantly with the mist, clouds, and rain. Whether viewed from the balcony, restaurants, pool area, pathways, or even during buggy rides, it never felt repetitive. We found ourselves taking photographs throughout our stay, yet every view somehow felt different from the last. Housekeeping deserves special mention. The room was spotless on arrival, and whenever we requested additional cleaning, the team responded promptly and did an excellent job. The staff throughout the resort were consistently responsive, courteous, and eager to help. The property is quite large, and buggy transport is frequently used. During busy periods, particularly around checkout times, there were occasional waits for a buggy. However, considering the size of the property and the number of guests being accommodated, this was understandable, and every buggy driver w"
