Atour Hotels in Kunming

Overall, we had a very comfortable stay here. The hotel was clean and the location was great — conveniently located around the centre of most of the tourist attractions, so getting around was really easy. The bed was comfortable, although it was a little small for 4 people. Breakfast was good with plenty of options to choose from. One small thing to note is that the reception is on Level 7, so you’ll need to head up there for check-in. I also liked the laundry setup! You can actually check the TV in your room to see how many washing machines and dryers are available, which was surprisingly useful 😂 The hotel also gave us a complimentary 2-hour late check-out, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a clean and convenient place to stay with some thoughtful touches!

The hotel service was excellent, and all the staff were incredibly responsible! I lost an item after checking out, and even after a long time, when I contacted the hotel, they had kept it safely and I was able to retrieve it. My sincere thanks to the hotel staff for their attentiveness and responsibility – a perfect experience!

Absolutely fantastic, highly recommend!!!! The front desk staff was incredibly helpful. I needed to pick up my friend at 2 AM, and they thoughtfully arranged a shuttle for me. A big thank you to the driver as well, who picked us up punctually despite the late hour and the rain. The breakfast selection was also very rich, delicious, and healthy! Seriously, can't recommend it enough! It was amazing!! Every aspect deserves praise; the experience was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time! (Due to time constraints, I forgot to take photos of the hotel. It was super quiet at night, even though it's near the airport, I couldn't hear any noise at all. We ordered a lot of takeout late at night, so a big thank you to the cleaning staff for tidying up; your hard work is much appreciated.)

The room was very clean. I told the front desk that I wanted a quieter room, so I was given a room on a high floor. I had heard that Atour's pillows were very famous, so the front desk lady helped me arrange a deep sleep experience. The deep sleep experience was well-deserved, and she also gave me a lot of travel suggestions, which was very considerate. The transportation was convenient, and it was not far from the subway station to the Jacaranda by taxi... and they could help with washing and drying clothes, which was so convenient! !

Check in staff were super good looking and courteous of showing midnight snacks and breakfast venue, helping with luggage and inform about laundry facilities. Appreciated the gesture with gifts for special holiday time. Would be nice to have all the room ready prior to guest arrival. Shower water has issues but pretty sure is an easy fix. You can walk to the nearby lake park within ten mins right across the street straight down to the opposite street rather than following the map. There are many good restaurants there for tourists and locals alike. The hotel is new but view isn’t available which is not a concern for me. I have been an avid Atour fan after an incident brought me to this hotel chain in JDZ. Love it ever since esp those in SZ. I’m happy to report that this one is by far better than the other two I’ve stayed when visiting KM at least AC functions well and without Mosquitos unlike the other two which I had no sleep at all. FYI.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, the room amenities are complete, and the hardware is user-friendly and comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, and the check-in process was simple and efficient. They patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The biggest surprise was the excellent soundproofing in the room; I could barely hear any noise from the corridor or outside, making for a very quiet night and a truly good sleep. The common areas were clean and tidy, and the environment was clearly well-cared for. The overall atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, without any sense of noise or hustle. As someone who prioritizes sleep quality when traveling, this hotel perfectly met my needs. The service details were meticulous, the facilities were stable and reliable, and the soundproofing exceeded my expectations. It's suitable for both short trips and business stays, making the check-in process worry-free and relaxing. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation.

This Atour X Hotel is located in the city center, right across from Shuncheng and Wangfujing Department Store. It's a lively area, so it's a bit noisy. Check-in was handled by an AI robot at the front desk, which was quite advanced! I asked it two questions, and it gave the exact same answer both times – annoying! Upon entering the room, there was a strong sewage smell from the bathroom. I reported it to the front desk robot, and it immediately brought a bottle of fragrant spray to 'purify' the air – again, annoying! I wasn't satisfied, so the robot called over the supervisor. The supervisor was excellent and offered to change our room. Human service is definitely better. Why did I choose Atour X? Because they offer laundry service, which is very thoughtful. Every time I stay at an X hotel, it's usually very comfortable, but this particular one seemed understaffed and provided almost no service, so the experience was just okay. On a positive note, late-night congee was available, and breakfast was still great. My rating might be a bit high, but I still hope this Atour X continues to improve and make an effort.

The environment and hygiene at Atour Hotel Kunming are pretty good. However, the air conditioning didn't provide heating in winter, and the location is a bit out of the way. The facilities are complete, with four sets of washer/dryers, and the lounge area is bright and tidy. There's also a coffee machine, which I regret not using as I was in a hurry. It's a standard, well-maintained Atour. There's also convenient parking right at the entrance, making it suitable for those traveling by car. It's directly opposite Xishan Mountain, so you can literally see the 'sunset over Xishan'. The actual location isn't too bad after all.

On this trip to Tengchong, I stayed at the Atour Hotel in Haoyue Tiandi both times I passed through Kunming. This hotel is excellent. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with complete facilities. What truly left an impression was the hotel's service. For example, the day before check-in, I received a call from the hotel asking if there were any elderly people in our party and if we needed non-slip slippers. When we checked in, the hotel upgraded our room for free and provided complimentary breakfast. The hotel offers free laundry facilities, and thoughtfully displays the number of available washing machines and dryers on the CCTV. A tall, bespectacled young woman, who I believe was named Zhixue, provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service. Not only did she help us purchase medicine online in the evening, but she also carefully prepared a cup for taking the medication. During our stay, she gave us a lot of useful information, such as which shops to buy souvenirs from, and which route to take to climb Xishan and see Dianchi Lake. Also, the young woman who checked us in on the evening of the ninth helped us connect to the internet and sent our laundry. All these detailed gestures made us feel truly at home. Next time we go to Kunming, we will definitely stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to all our friends.

The hotel is incredibly convenient, right across from Yuantong Temple, and there's a bus stop right outside. It's relatively close to many popular attractions in the city center. Since it was summer vacation, there were a lot of tourists, and the room's soundproofing wasn't great. There were some noisy kids playing in the hallway after 10 PM, which really disrupted my sleep. My stay might have been better if I had avoided the peak summer/winter holiday season. Finally, I have to mention that the hotel's 1.2-meter beds are not very friendly for taller people; they're a bit short 😂
