"The location of the hotel is relatively remote. There is a large Wal-Mart next to it, which is quite convenient for buying some daily necessities. The hotel room is equipped with a stove, other facilities are OK, and the sanitary conditions are also good. Living here on Highway 1 is relatively cost-effective."

"The hotel is located about six miles from the action. It’s not a long drive to Monterey or Carmel, just know that it’s also not just 5 minutes away. Our room was clean and everything was as advertised. We could even see the ocean from our window. There was a sofa in the room, big enough to seat four of us. This was a main reason I chose this hotel, to have a place to sit comfortably after exploring the area. My husband and kids used the gym and indoor pool, which were small but adequate. Right down the street is Target, Trader Joe’s, SB, and some restaurants. For the good restaurants, you’d have to drive the six miles to town. Our biggest complaint about the hotel is the breakfast. The options are rather limited. We opted to eat breakfast elsewhere after two days. Overall not a bad stay but we probably wouldn’t stay here again."

"Room was clean. Location is good, right in the center of downtown Marina. The front desk workers are very nice, don't be scared by the temporary lobby. Biggest complaint is that the bathroom window doesn't have curtains, which is especially a problem when workmen are right outside the window. The toilet also only has a weak flushing power, which can be unfortunate. Noise from workmen & cars on the main road can be quite loud. Breakfast is nothing special, but free fruit, granola bars, madeleines, & yogurt every day is always nice."

"Terrible, absolutely awful. The elevator couldn't get to the fourth floor, and breakfast stopped serving before 9 am, so I didn't get to eat. What Hilton closes breakfast at 9 am? I booked a suite, but it was practically a standard room with two double beds and a sofa. The most infuriating thing was the bathroom exhaust fan, which was constantly whirring and wouldn't turn off. I've stayed in so many hotels, and very few have made me this angry."
