Daiwa Roynet Hotel Matsue-ekimae ★★★★
"✅ Shimagen Songjiang Station 3 minutes walk ✅ Check-in is on the 2nd floor. There are three machines. In addition to check-in, the machine can also exchange 100 coins. ✅ Check in at the front desk, and a small gift package for children's slippers ✅ There is a water bottle in the room, you can fill water on the 3rd floor, and there is also an unmanned sales store on the 3rd floor. There is a microwave oven inside. ✅ Both boys and girls have washing machines in their baths, but girls' public baths change passwords every day, please go to the front desk to collect them. ✅ Public bath use time 15:00-24:00/ early 6:00-10:00 ✅ The front desk is young people, the service is very good, although the English is not good, but the people are very kind, the English is too fast, the staff can't understand, it is recommended to translate it into Japanese in a simple way, take the screen to show them ✅ Check-in is at 2 pm, check-out is at 11 am, if you think of checking out before 2 pm, every hour is more than $1000 yen ✅ HOTEL has a reminder, please close the bathroom door when taking a bath to avoid water vapor causing smoke detection and emitting water to extinguish the fire ✅ The price is really cheap, I saw it on Trip.com , the room is 29 square meters. My room rate is as big as 79.19 and 91.2 dollars a night. I once booked for less than 72 dollars a night, but I cancelled it. ✅ Accommodation, everything is fine. Good location, especially cost-effective, except that the pillows are not easy to sleep 💠 There are not many places to play in Songjiang. It is recommended to live next to the station. Even if you don’t take the bus, you can take the bus out of the station and then take the bus back. It is really difficult to stop the taxi on the side of the road. There is Uber, but it will never be called. At noon at 35 degrees high temperature, I really want to cry without tears, and I will burst into hot water. 😭 💠 Living in Songjiang, you can go to Izumodashe, Shimagen's Foot Art Museum 👍 Even going to Mizi and Tottori, you can"
Matsue Urban Hotel CubicRoom ★★
"The amenities and complimentary drinks were excellent. This was my second time staying in a capsule-type room, and I still haven't had enough experience to get a good night's sleep, but the bath and facilities were comfortable, so I would definitely stay here again if I were staying alone. There seemed to be more senior guests than I expected. For meals, I bought Nita rice balls at Chamine in front of the station and side dishes at a convenience store and ate them in the dining area of the inn. The next morning, I had breakfast at Andersen, which is also located in Chamine."
Matsue New Urban Hotel ★★★
"I was impressed with how friendly the staff were, the service, and the parking lot guidance. The room was smaller than I expected."
Tennenonsen Dandannoyu Onyadononomatsue ★★★★
"Staying at this hotel again, the experience of taking off shoes upon entry was quite different and ensured the hotel's cleanliness. The room was Japanese-style with a large bed and a separate shower and toilet area. There was an onsen (hot spring bath) in the evening, along with complimentary ramen and drinks. It was also very convenient for visiting Matsue and Lake Shinji."
Tamatsukuri Onsen Yunosuke No Yado Chorakuen ★★★★
"The large public bath was very comfortable. Although the facilities are a bit old, the overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The garden view was beautiful during the snowfall. However, the staff's service was a bit lukewarm, lacking the attentive attitude one would expect from a hot spring hotel. I hope this can be improved."
Matsue Universal Hotel ★★★
"I really enjoyed my stay at Matsue Universal Hotel. The hotel has a strong 1980s style, a bit old-fashioned but full of character. Everything is functional and the location is excellent, close to the station and easy to get around. Breakfast and dinner are included and were very much appreciated. It’s not fine dining, but the meals are solid, convenient, and good value. The staff is friendly and helpful, which adds a lot to the overall atmosphere. I liked the ambiance a lot and would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and relaxed stay in Matsue."
Matsue Urban Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is in a very convenient location. There is a lounge downstairs where you can read comics. There are no cheap options during the red leaf season weekend. The room is really small, but it is not bad as a temporary place to stay."
Hotel Ichibata ★★★★
"Very modern hotel with a nice and good-sized room. There is parking by the hotel and facing the bay. Will definitely stay there again."
Ohashikan ★★★
"It is really a very nice hotel. I didn't have any expectations for Shimane, but from the moment I landed at Izumo Airport all the way to the hotel, I met very warm and friendly people. The staff of Ohashi Kan is even more enthusiastic and responsible. I can say that the design and facilities of the hotel are among the top three of all the Japanese hotels I have stayed in. The design is obviously very thoughtful, convenient and practical, not fancy, simple and generous, and the room is really clean. The station is on the right hand side of the hotel, and transportation is convenient. The front desk staff was not only enthusiastic and patient, but also printed a Chinese version of the hotel guide. I was very touched and gave it a high praise! ! !"

Izumo Tamatsukurionsen Shiraishiya
"My wife, daughter, and I visited Izumo Taisha Shrine to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and stayed at Shiraishiya Inn. My daughter had stayed there once before with a friend and had a wonderful experience, so we made a reservation this time. Everything from the shuttle bus driver and the welcome at the entrance to the way we waited inside the inn and the guidance to our room was natural and comfortable. Ms. Nishikori, who was in charge of our room, was wonderful and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The quality and quantity of the meals were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed them. My wife was absolutely delighted. In the morning, we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and strolled around Matsue, and were able to return home feeling very refreshed. The staff's coordination was excellent and felt very natural. If we have the opportunity again, we would like to stay at Shiraishiya Inn. Thank you very much."
Green Rich Hotel Matsue Eki Across
"The location is excellent, which is exact as the name across Matsue station. The staff from the front desk are very nice. You can pick up some daily necessities near the front desk (e.g. toothbrush, comb, teabags). I can open a 30 inch luggage and still have reasonable space in my room. The public bath is a bit small but cosy. It is worth to give a try if you wish to stay in Matsue overnight."
Notsu Ryokan
"It's more difficult for a ryokan located in the heart of the city to create a peaceful atmosphere, but Notsu Ryokan, with its simple yet elegant decor and beautiful calligraphy, is very tranquil. The staff is very welcoming and uses a translator. They are also very patient when communicating. A great effort is made, as the dinner and breakfast menus are translated into English. The onsen are very pleasant."
Naniwa Issui
"When we checked out, heavy snow made it impossible to get our car out, but the staff kindly shoveled snow for about an hour, allowing us to leave safely! The explanation of the hotel by the foreign staff member was easy to understand, and the quality of service was so high that it made me want to stay there again."
Matsunoyu
"The dinner buffet was plentiful and I was very satisfied."
Green Rich Hotel Matsue Ekimae
"The pillows and futon were both very light. Overall satisfied. However, it would have been nice if they had informed me at check-in that I could choose my pillow and that I would have to take my pajamas and go to my room. Regarding the room, it would have been nice to have an air purifier and a spray to deodorize clothes. Also, since my luggage was in a carrier, it was difficult to carry it up the stairs. When I was leaving, I found a sign saying there was an elevator, but it was hard to see, so I wish it would have been written in big letters on the stairs."
Tamatsukuri Grand Hotel Choseikaku
"The inside of the building was very clean and the bath was amazing. The polite service made me feel luxurious."
Hoseikan
"Loved staying here- I stayed in a double private room with private bath/shower. The room was one of the larger ones I've stayed in on my couple week trip in Japan. The location is great, staff are lovely, and as someone who booked a private room it's like a 4 star hotel with the amenities of a hostel. Great lounge area, with a bar that sets up in the evening, access to luggage storage, and a kitchen. Really hope to stay here again."
Hotel Gyokusen
"It was very good."
Kasuien Minami
"This accommodation was a very pleasant experience. The hotel provided excellent service, making guests feel right at home. A special mention goes to their complimentary shuttle service from the station, though advance reservations are required. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, leaving a lasting impression. Furthermore, the hot spring water here is of exceptionally high quality, making for a very comfortable soak."
Konya
"When checking in, you will have afternoon tea before going to your room. Dinner and breakfast were also very rich and delicious. I was very full and satisfied. It's just that the hot spring pool is a bit disappointing. There are only two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, which is a bit sparse."
Onsen Guest House Aobato no Su
"This guesthouse was renovated from an old inn. The reception is small, but there are tables and sofas in the lobby where you can bring your own alcohol and drink. The rooms have also been renovated, and the restrooms are modern. Since the walls couldn't be renovated, they're thin and you can hear voices from next door and in the hallway, but it wasn't a problem when I stayed there. The bath is small, but the temperature was just right. I stayed without meals this time, but the breakfast looked delicious. This is the kind of inn I'd consider returning to."
Rakuten STAY HOUSE x WILL STYLE Matsue
"The house is clean with kitchenwares. The bath room is very good and comfortable with high jet water. However, it was built just next to the road, the car seems driving next to your bed and you can’t sleep all night."
Tamai Bekkan
"The most comfortable hotel! Great location, the lobby blends old and new, classic yet refreshing. The hot spring water was amazing! ☺️ I loved it. The service was reassuring. I only speak a little Japanese, but the staff patiently confirmed my check-in details. They were also attentive to my needs and inquired in advance; thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. After dinner, you can take a walk with lanterns, and on the way back, there's a foot bath to relax and unwind. The yukatas have limited-edition patterns to choose from, which are cute and add a nice souvenir to your trip."
Shinji Furusato Forest Park
"We made a reservation for a visit to Izumo Taisha Shrine. The log cabin was beautiful from the moment we entered the front door; we were very impressed. There were bedrooms on both the first and second floors, and since we were traveling with elderly parents who have difficulty using stairs, the bedroom on the first floor was very much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious. It was also close to Izumo Taisha Shrine, allowing us to visit early. We would like to use this accommodation again if we have the opportunity."
Hoshino Resorts KAI Tamatsukuri
"We stayed here on our wedding anniversary. It was our first time at a Hoshino Resort. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves until the 12 o'clock check-out. Most of the staff were young, and they were highly motivated and smiled and polite. There are tea ceremonies (for those who want to participate), Kagura, and morning exercises (for the first 6 people) every day, so we participated in all of them. For the tea ceremony, we received a sign for the time we wanted and went through the garden to a separate building. A person from a school of tea that I had never heard of before made tea and gave us sweets. The room was made with a lot of local ingredients (the refrigerator did not have a freezer function), and the open-air bath was at the perfect temperature and was very comfortable. There was a festival in the neighborhood during the summer vacation period, so we purchased tickets at the front desk, and after dinner, we went to the festival before the Kagura started. We watched the Kagura from 9 p.m. from the front row. It was more impressive than we expected and was really good. We were able to take commemorative photos after the event and had a great time. It seems that the staff members play different roles every day. The indoor bath in the large communal bath is the same as that of Tonbo-no-Yu in Karuizawa. You can make a pack in the hot spring, and you can get a sake pack only at night. The smell of alcohol was so strong that I almost got drunk. lol After the bath, tea, vitamin drinks, and white rose ice cream were prepared. The food was also delicious."
