Recommended hotel to stay in suwon!! CU mart is just in front of the hotel. Walk about 500m to nearest bus station, took the bus and went to starfield mall (30mins). Room is spacious, big tv, hair dryer, refrigerator, toiletries, kettle, welcome tea & biscuit. Definitely will come again!

✔️ Price: I booked for 3 nights and it cost just under 300,000 won. Since it was a weekday and the tail end of the holiday season, I booked for less than 100,000 won per night. ✔️ Facilities: Basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a refrigerator, a kettle, and a hairdryer were provided, and there were tea ceremony tools available for enjoying tea. However, toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, cotton swabs, cotton pads, and hair ties were not provided, so you had to pay 2,000 won to use them. Aside from these, they did sell items like contact lens cases and Renu. The room I chose had a jacuzzi, so I was able to enjoy it. It was filled with Japanese-style wooden tubs and wooden bowls, allowing me to enjoy the scent of cypress. ✔️ Cleanliness: As it is a franchise hotel, the cleanliness was generally decent. However, there was a flaw in the tea ceremony tools, and it was a bit disappointing that they were not replaced. ✔️ Interior: It looked exactly like the photos and was beautiful. The lighting was beautiful, there was Japanese-style tatami flooring under the bed, and the interior of the jacuzzi and bathroom was neat and perfect. However, unlike what I expected, the room was a bit small, but it was sufficient for a few days' stay. ✔️ Overall: I highly recommend it because I was able to book such a high-quality room at this price.

Although the building seems a bit dated, the room—including the bathroom, bed, and table—was spotless, so you don't need to worry about hygiene at all. The owner was also very kind. I left my luggage before check-in and asked about the neighborhood's safety; I was really grateful that they gave me their business card and told me to call if anything happened, even though it is a safe area. It might have been a coincidence, but when I checked in, they assigned me a room close to the front desk, which gave me a great sense of security even when returning late at night. I highly recommend this place for solo female travelers. Thank you, owner!

I booked this hotel after reading the reviews. While the area in front of Suwon Station felt a bit sketchy, the hotel itself was great. The staff member at check-in was incredibly friendly, the bed was super comfy, and the room was spacious. It even had a fridge, microwave, washing machine, and a sink. Just remember you *must* have your ID with you!

I arrived way before check-in time and, without question, the owner gave me a key for a room that was already prepared. Very kind of him. Room was well equipped. I never heard any noise all night. Great value for the price. Not being able to speak Korean I found it a bit hard to find but largely because the English translation of the name in Trip.com was different from what was actually on the hotels signs! Sign outside the hotel says Royal Motel. But a woman from neighbouring shop quickly took me to it. So no problem really.

The accommodation was clean and offered good value for money. The 1 PM checkout time allowed for ample time to prepare. While there were no amenities or towels provided, it wasn't inconvenient. Having several chairs available was a plus.

The lady is very nice, unfortunately I think she has a hoarding problem. There are a lot of random items around the entrance. If they cleaned up and threw away many of the items it would be more inviting to guests. The room itself is hygienic and has a washing machine which is great as very few motels at this price range have a washing machine. Laundry detergent is even included in the room too! Very nice.

Pros: 5stars for the convenience~~~ Being so close to the KTX station made my commute so easy, and you'll never run out of dining options nearby~~ Cons: 4 stars, for there is no elevator here. :’) If you’re traveling with large suitcases, be ready for some heavy lifting. 💪🏻 The room is a bit cramped. Also, you might want to bring your own toiletries or ask the front desk directly for refills, as they weren't topped up during my visit. :’) Still a good value for the price and location.^^

The guy not speak any word in english and even if I said that a booked a room he wanted to make me leave the hotel ! So, don't try to speak with him, just show your name and the reservation, he will give you the key and at your depart you have to leave it in the elevator, it's cold but that's how is it. We sleep in a ondol room (matress in the floor) ; the room is not pleasant (rather dilapidated) but the matress is confortable, you have kettle and one time coffe-tea-water, hot water in the shower ; it's enought to be in good condition. The localisation is pretty good, not too far from the citadelle maybe half an hour of walk.
