Mountain View Hotels in Rio de Janeiro

You can go down to the exclusive beach. As a resort hotel, the facilities are quite rich, including tennis courts, swimming pools, and children's playgrounds. As a five-star hotel, the price is moderate and the cost performance is very high. I am afraid that the noisy sound of the waves will have a little impact.

An excellent hotel, very beautiful, in a great location in Leblon. They checked us in early, for which we are very grateful to the reception staff. A pleasant pool upstairs, almost deserted, with a fantastic view. The rooms are nice, the toiletries are good, but I don't understand the charge for each coffee capsule, considering it's a five-star hotel.

The hotel's location is superb, very close to the Obelisco, Teatro Colón, and El Ateneo Grand Splendid. It was the only hotel on our South America trip that allowed early check-in and late check-out. They also helped us arrange a taxi, definitely recommended!

Although the hotel service is very good, the view is good, the room does not have too many problems, the whole is clean and tidy, and there are some. But there are many shortcomings, such as my bathroom is not cleaned very clean every day, and the water charge of the mini bar is particularly high, 9 reais a bottle, and no advance notice. In addition, the hotel's network is very poor, I went to the same price, other hotels nearby, I feel that the price is not high.

There was no space for my car, I had to leave it on the street. The staff are attentive. The room was ok but the air conditioning was not very cold. Positive point: smart TV. The bathroom is old but clean. Breakfast had no cake or sweet bread.

Firstly, deluxe room wasn’t deluxe at all. Same as the standard room in all it entirety. They blankets were old and didn’t have a casing. The towel if you hold them up to the light you could see through them. The room had mold. It was an horrible stay. Also had to pay for them to keep your bags ( I was only surprised by this- not really a complaint). This wasn’t a four star stay , more like a two stars ⭐️ ⭐️

The hotel has a nice location on the beach, but the property could do with some updates. The first room I went into had a funny smell, so I reported it to reception. The male receptionist looked at me, and as if he doubted my word After I insisted, he assigned me a new room, but it was left to me to move my luggage. . No support was offered and I couldn’t be bothered to ask. I did ask if there would be any complimentary water put in the room. He said he would get housekeeping to put some water, but I’m still waiting two days later.  Power outlets in the room are limited and not designed for modern travel. No USB points. The TV is old and not smart or Internet connected. There are no cable channels so nearly all of the channels are local language apart from one CNN news channel in English.. The hotel is quite noisy and dogs. The walls are thin and guests scrape furniture across the marble floors. This is relatively easy to remedy if the hotel cared. The rooftop pool was disappointing as it’s quite small and normally full of kids. The restaurant is closed after breakfast. There is a bar, but it’s never open.. The biggest problem I had was the Internet. It did not work properly in my room and kept cutting out every few minutes. I had to stand in the corridor or come down to the lobby in order to get any decent coverage. I complained to the staff, but they did nothing and just told me it works.. This was extremely frustrating and I certainly wouldn’t come back to this hotel again.

We were a couple, good place to stay out of here.

The hotel met expectations in terms of location, cleanliness, and the quality/variety of the breakfast. I think the responsiveness of the reception to guest requests could be improved, as well as the comfort of the room itself, since the curtains did not cover the entire window, and therefore some light entered the room in the morning (it gets light very early).

The room was cleaned for 2 days. Breakfast is very fair and very small in the 8 nights we host. We wanted hot water (to take mat ON THE BOOK) clarified this because it was not to take the water out of the hotel and they charged it separately, now if you used hot water for a tea there was no problem.. very bad, it is just hot water.
