XXia&yaoAmong the few places in Benxi, Muxiangli B&B is undoubtedly the most surprising existence.
As soon as I stepped into the small courtyard of the hotel, I was moved by the ingenious design. From the overall layout to the details of the room, it was through the owner's intentions. There was no deliberate pile of complexity, but it was everywhere. What is even more rare is the ultimate cleanliness, whether it is public areas or guest rooms, which makes people live in a particularly reassuring way.
The boss family is as kind as the relatives and friends next door, warm but not disturbed, and the familiar feeling of chatting makes people instantly relieve the fatigue of the journey. Breakfast is a light and refreshing match, clean and exquisite, every mouthful is warm, obviously simple but particularly appetizing.
Staying here, like pulling yourself out of the hustle and bustle of the city, the sun is spilled in the corner of the small courtyard, the wind is with a quiet taste, the quiet, comfortable and comfortable feeling, no matter how many words can be described. I can say that this stay is too worth it! Next time you come to Benxi, Muxiangli is definitely the best choice. This beautiful experience is worth visiting again ～ (the attached small courtyard picture can't hide its beauty)

GGuest UserTraveling with elderly children, this hotel family is very satisfied. The mountain view room of 1112 is even more surprising. Watching the forest hot springs, my mother smiled and couldn't close her mouth. I originally needed three rooms, but unfortunately there were two left. The boss found a room for us after knowing it. The tatami room arranged was also very comfortable. Thank you for your enthusiastic boss!

QQimiaodedengtaThe purpose of this trip to Benxi was twofold: Firstly, to take my seventy-year-old parents back to Benxi Water Caves, revisiting a place from their vibrant youth and reliving those passionate memories. Secondly, it was to help my daughter de-stress before she transitions from primary to junior high, as she's about to step into the demanding arena of life.
**Reason for choosing this place:** We picked Guan Shan Lake Xikang Yunshe because its online photos were simply breathtaking – showcasing stunning scenery, lush greenery, magnificent views, and picturesque beauty that truly captivated me and made me want to experience it firsthand. (Honestly, with so many guesthouses and hotels sprouting up across Benxi like mushrooms after rain these past two years, to avoid decision paralysis, I simply picked the top-ranked one.)
**First Impression:** The mountains were in a languid slumber, while the clouds playfully sketched the outline of a castle. At three in the afternoon, the golden sunlight pierced through the clouds, bathing the grey castle in a glow that felt like a divine touch and special favor. (Though this description might seem a bit exaggerated, I believe even Eileen Chang would write it this way.)
Let me discuss the facilities, hygiene, environment, service, unique hot springs, and buffet breakfast all at once:
* **Facilities:** Among all hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, these are personally the most satisfactory and my favorite.
* **Hygiene:** There's still room for improvement. I admit I have exceptionally high standards for cleanliness; my husband, whose pocket money has been depleted by my pickiness, can attest to that.
* **Environment:** The advantages here are self-evident: blessed with unique green mountains, clear waters, and swirling mist. There's simply no room for me to find fault, and I suspect the people of Benxi wouldn't allow it anyway!
* **Service:** I deliberately tried to count the staff members I encountered: two doormen, four charming front desk staff, a villa driver, a room cleaning attendant, kitchen/delivery personnel, staff in the hot spring area, and dining areas... Oh, never mind, I confess my math isn't good enough to count them all. In short, every staff member I met was patient, caring, and dedicated. Their service was perfectly balanced, attentive without being overly enthusiastic. Yes, the hotel management behind the scenes certainly deserves a grand commendation.
* **Unique Hot Springs:** Both my mom and daughter had a wonderful time soaking. My daughter was thrilled because there was unlimited ice cream available, which she could openly and freely enjoy – something I don't usually permit at home. My mom, in turn, was happy seeing her daughter so joyful. Given that the ice cream was actually quite high-quality, I even broke my own rule and indulged in quite a bit. It wasn't just about taking advantage of something free; it was more about not wanting to be a hypocrite with one rule for them and another for me. There were also plenty of unlimited fruits and snacks, perfect for quenching thirst and cooling down.
* **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety. I prefer strong flavors in the morning and enjoyed a generous amount of boiled shrimp, baked beans in tomato sauce, Italian beef brisket, bacon, and homemade yogurt. For those who prefer lighter options, the traditional Chinese breakfast choices were truly dazzling.
**A Side Note:** At 4:27 AM, I leaned by the hot spring pool in my room. The water temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, exactly half a degree higher than my body temperature – just enough to help my tense nerves loosen their first button. True enjoyment, I realized, is found in places where even time seems to slow down. At that moment, I gazed at the mist still lingering over the distant mountains and fields outside my window, then slowly closed my eyes, drifting back into a soothing dream, only to be awakened by: ”Mom, Mom, Mom, is the hot spring water ready for me?!”

TTaoqibenxiongThe boss is very nice. My children want to experience the fire kang. They specially provide me with a rich breakfast for only 10 yuan per person. They also caught the wild vegetable buns, which are very delicious. The children like it very much. There are many swallows' nests under the eaves here. At night, the little swallows flew back and saw the Big Dipper rising up the mountain. It was a pleasant trip to pick a lot of wild vegetables.

It is said that it can be opened in less than two days and I am fortunate to catch up. There is also the attitude of the two service staff is generally good, the eldest sister is better than the younger guy, closer. At 10 o'clock in the evening, there was a power outage and water outage. Fortunately, I filed with the Trip.com platform. The Trip.com platform is really a backer we can rely on. Although the time is not too long, in order to increase the stay experience, I also offered to give a discount. Thank you very much. I also thank Trip.com butler for his professionalism and quick handling of problems. Overall, the two are quite satisfactory after staying.

GGuest UserThe overall service at Mangu Town is excellent! The staff who serviced our room were especially exceptional, patient, caring, and very understanding. However, I declined to view the private bath room before booking, simply looking at the pictures online. And it wasn't because it was fully booked and inconvenient to view! Upon entering the room, it smelled strongly of dampness and was cramped. Most puzzling was that the private baths were only drained once a day and couldn't be freely drained. With such a large temperature difference between morning and evening, draining the water once only allows for a single soak. If you want to soak again, you have to go to the public area. This seems to defeat the purpose of private baths. What's the point of paying the private bath price to stay in a damp, moldy, and cramped private bath room when you can't choose to do so multiple times? Why not stay in the slightly cheaper, brighter, and more spacious River Valley rooms? This makes me wonder why so many empty rooms aren't open for viewing, only pictures!

You have to cool it down before soaking! The skin is slippery. The parking lot is very convenient. Tell the lady the license plate and she will record it for free! There are also charging piles! There are many specialty products sold in the market, and I bought some mushrooms! The experience is great! I will come again!

The hot spring pool environment is good, with pavilions, rockery and vegetation, and a good atmosphere. But maybe because of the off-season, there is no water in many hot spring pools. The kitchen can make à la carte dishes, authentic Northeastern cuisine, and the taste is good, but there is no milk and coffee in the breakfast buffet. I hope it can be added in the future. The staff is very enthusiastic and greets customers when they see them. When eating, they will also ask if they need hot water, which is very considerate! In short, the experience is good and I will come again!
