I stayed overnight on a girl trip. The room was very clean and the customer service was very good. The morning and dinner were half buffet, but the midnight snack was very delicious with steak and seafood teppanyaki. I was happy to have beer, soft drink ice cream, etc. for free after the bath, and the free rental of yukata was great. However, if I only say one thing, there was no free transfer from the station → Hotel after 19:00, so I headed to the hotel after a night cruise, but there was no taxi at all and I walked to the hotel. Heading to I was quite tired. I would be happy if there was a free transfer until a little later.

After battling crowds in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima, Miyajima and the Hotel Miyajima Villa were a welcome respite. Indeed, we so enjoyed our stay that we added an additional night. Before and after the arrival and departure of day trippers from Hiroshima, we felt as though we had the island and its wild deer all to ourselves. The hotel is immaculate, ideally located (a few steps from the ferry and a short walk to the island's attractions) and staffed by incredibly helpful, friendly and energetic staff. A hearty breakfast got each day off to a solid start while our afternoon soaks in the top floor onsen were perfect for getting rid of kinks from a day of sightseeing.

For a two-person trip from Kyushu with my elderly mother, I chose the closest place to the public train station with emphasis on the most important consideration. In addition to the front desk, all the staff were very kind and had a pleasant response! The room is clean and clean I was able to spend comfortably. I was a little worried about the dirt on the carpet on the floor. I highly recommend this ryokan for the exceptional experience including great food, staff & room. My room was a traditional ryokan room with tatami matts but with traditional mattresses. It overlooked the the pedestrian street but was very quiet at night since most tourists visit Miyajima as a daytrip. The staff was gracious enough to setup a futon for me on the tatami matt so that I could sleep traditional Japanese style. Haruka at the front desk was amazing. She speaks limited English but enough to communicate with. She wrote me a very sweet handwritten note that I will keep forever when I asked where I could buy a yukata robe. I had asked her where I could purchase a yukata (traditional Japanese robe). The presentation of the dinner was amazing and worth it. The on-site onsen was was great and was usually all to myself. It has one indoor pool along with a small one on the outdoor deck that overlooks the bay and torii gate. Upon checkout, Haruka escorted me out which I believe is typical of a ryokan. It was sad to leave because of how memorable the stay was! The ryokan was expensive but worth it for the experience. I can't imagine visiting Miyajima only as a day trip. It would be too rushed as there's plenty to do for 2 days. Must sees are the torii gate along with the shrine surrounding it, taking the ropeway up to Mt. Misen (the top of the mountain is about a 20-30 minute steep hike from the end of the ropeway but I recommend it), and finally definitely do not miss Daishoin shrine which was truly amazing. Recommend avoiding Saturday & Sundays as it's very, very crowded.

The neighborhood is large, with an indoor balcony, the bathroom is separated from the wet and dry, facing the sea, and the facilities are a bit dated. Dinner is the kind of kaiseki that is scheduled in the restaurant in advance, but each dish is super mini. Even the plate is not as big as a woman's palm. The dishes are as small as half a mouthful and the taste is not enough. It ’s only half a bowl of miso soup to fill up with the last bowl of rice. Girls are okay, men are not full. Fortunately, a small shop in the lobby has snacks and instant noodles, but it ’s full because there ’s no shop. Breakfast seems better than dinner. There is a small soup to make.

The location is excellent, the sea view room, spacious and warm (people who are afraid of cold don't turn on the air conditioner at night is no problem) The balcony is very suitable for two people to chat in the sun, drink tea and snacks. There is an elevator in the museum, the underground bath is also very clean, the front desk staff will help you explain the restaurants and shops on the island, helped a lot. A great travel experience!

The hotel can provide free delivery service! Be sure to contact the hotel in advance! The hotel is also quite far from the pier, and there is a flight of stairs to get there, but because of this, the room can see the big torii! One night and two meals are good, and the hot spring private bath is also good! When you leave, you can store your luggage, and then go to the pier to play, and ask the tourist center at the pier to call the hotel and ask them to send your luggage to the pier, free of charge!

Although there was no mention on the official website, smoking is allowed on the terrace of the room. I don't like the smell of cigarettes, and this time I was traveling with my child, so when I found out that smoking was allowed, I thought about canceling, but it was already the time when a cancellation fee would be charged, so I gave up. When I was bathing in the open-air bath on the terrace, the smell of cigarette smoke from the neighboring room's terrace was indescribably disgusting. (The fact that you can smoke on the terrace should be clearly stated on your website, etc.) Luckily, the smell of cigarettes was only once, and after that I was able to enjoy the bath comfortably. The open-air bath in the room is very comfortable. The view of the sea during the daytime is also wonderful, but it was nice to take a bath in the middle of the night while looking at the stars. The public bath was good, but I was worried about the smell of the hot water, probably because of the circulation. I also enjoyed the food at the buffet. The live kitchen steak was delicious and the sashimi was fresh. There was an Onomichi ramen corner at night and an udon corner in the morning. The pajamas (black in-house wear) are only one size for adults and not for children, so I put on only the tops like a dress, but I think some people should bring their own. It seems that the number of yukata for children is small. I would like to stay again if there is no smoking on the terrace.

This is definitely the best service hotel in Japan. Everyone knows that Japan's service attitude has always been good. This is a bit of a good time. As long as you see the waiter, you will smile and say hello! You can try it for dinner, and the meal is very rich! The hot springs in the hotel are not a bit boring in the open air, but the bubbles are not bad. There are a bunch of deer at the door~... You can call the hotel at the Miyajima Pier.
