"The Derby Room was spacious, comfortable, and cozy. Some road noise at peak traffic hours, but there's a sound machine in the room (and earplugs in the bathroom) to mask it. The bedding is soft and luxurious with a variety of pillows and coverlets to personalize your sleep. The bathroom, while small, is sparkling clean and easy for people with mobility challenges to use. Lovely toiletries provided. The breakfast is always delicious and the hosts will accommodate special requests and dietary needs. Snacks and drinks always available. There is a charcuterie board for guests every evening. The Inn is walking distance to all the downtown Bardstown attractions and the hosts have lots of great suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area. I can't recommend the Red Rose Inn highly enough and we will definitely be back!"

"A few buddies and I hit the Bourbon Trail for a bachelor party this weekend and stayed at Bourbon Manor. It was our first time in Kentucky, and we couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome from the staff. Todd and Jawan are the hosts with the most and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I’ve experienced Southern Hospitality a few times in my life, but never like this. I believe Todd is the owner/manager, and he deserves a massive shoutout for running the show. Jawan did a great job of getting us all set up and he’s a world class bartender to boot. Don’t sleep on his Smoked Old Fashioned. The grounds themselves are a trip through 1800s Kentucky. As an American History buff, getting to stay in a perfectly maintained historic building was a true delight. On top of that, the accommodations were all super cozy. And while I’m typically not much of a breakfast guy, their country-style breakfast rocked my world, especially the Bourbon-glazed popovers. Next time I’m in Bardstown, whenever that may be, I’ll be back to stay at Bourbon Manor."

"This hotel was previously a Hampton Inn. Let’s start with that. So imagine a newly renovated Hampton Inn. Everything is new and revitalized. Fresh paint and fixtures in the rooms. Sheets were not as nice as other Hiltons. The exterior needs some help but otherwise accommodations are great. Non-main Exterior doors and such need to be painted and could use a whole new refresh. So the downside, rooms will eventually have no microwaves, there is one in the lobby to use. Breakfast is lacking. You get cereal and bagels only. The hot bar like Hampton and waffles is all but gone, we decided to go to Mammies for breakfast on the second day, vice earring another day with mini-whets that tasted like cardboard. Supposedly, they are building a new Hilton near the Fairgrounds. I will probably find another hotel at another chain to stay at until the new one is built."
