All guest rooms feature spacious Japanese-style rooms and comfortable Western-style rooms. A barrier-free room is also available, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests of all generations. Located just a 7-minute walk from JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station, the hotel offers excellent access to nearby ski resorts, allowing you to enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the year. Inside the hotel, you’ll find a large open-air bath and a relaxing sauna. From your room window, you can admire the natural scenery of Echigo-Yuzawa and unwind in a truly soothing atmosphere. Dinner is served buffet-style, featuring a rich selection of local specialties unique to Echigo. Enjoy dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients to your heart’s content. With lush greenery in spring, cool mountain air in summer, colorful foliage in autumn, and beautiful snowy landscapes in winter, Echigo-Yuzawa offers a different charm in every season. At the Hotel Livemax Resort Echigo-Yuzawa, experience a moment of true relaxation and serenity.

"It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station to the hotel, but the hotel is located on a small slope. In winter, if there's heavy snowfall or too much accumulated snow, it can be a bit inconvenient to drag your luggage all the way to the hotel since there's no shuttle service. The hotel was newly renovated last year, so the rooms are very clean. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style. Dinner includes pan-fried steak, sashimi, and small hot pots, but the selection is pretty much the same every night. Staying for three nights, it did get a bit boring, so there's room for improvement in the dining options! The hotel has a drying room and a ski rental shop with discounts on ski passes. Walking to the nearest gondola station takes about 10 minutes, and carrying all the ski gear was a bit strenuous. The hotel is only a few minutes from the hot spring street, and it's very convenient to walk to a convenience store after a soak. Overall, the hotel has plenty of rooms, and I would choose to stay here again next time."

Located in Yuzawa Town, a charming hot spring resort in Minamiuonuma District, Niigata Prefecture, Trip7 Yuzawa Onsen Hotel is a hot spring resort hotel where the beauty of nature and an artistic atmosphere come together in harmony. Whether you're looking to enjoy the snowy mountains on a ski or snowboard, or simply soak in the seasonal flavors and relaxing hot springs, this is the ideal destination for you to fully enjoy the charms of Echigo Yuzawa. Access is also extremely convenient, just a five-minute walk from JR Echigo Yuzawa Station. There is also a scheduled shuttle bus to and from the station, making travel easy even for those with large luggage. Trip7 Yuzawa Onsen Hotel offers over 200 rooms. A wide variety of room types are available, including standard twins, triple rooms, Japanese-Western rooms, family suites, and deluxe suites, combining traditional Japanese charm with modern Western comfort. With a selection of rooms to suit a wide range of needs, everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay. The first floor of the hotel features a relaxing rest area, a ski equipment rental corner, a shop, and a coin laundry. Luggage storage and courier services are also available. The second floor features a spacious restaurant, a buffet restaurant, and a multi-purpose event room. The third and fourth floors of the annex are home to large, medium, and small banquet halls that can accommodate banquets, parties, and dinners of various sizes. The 13th floor is home to the hotel's greatest attraction: the open-air observation hot spring, "Kuchu Onsen," located 40 meters above ground. The hotel also features the indoor hot spring "Goshikiyu," an open-air bath with a spacious feel, and a sauna. The views of Echigo Yuzawa's townscape and mountains from a soak in the hot spring are exceptional, and in winter, you can enjoy a blissful moment immersed in the warm water while admiring the snow-capped scenery. Enjoy an exquisite time soothing both body and mind, where the silvery white world and the warmth of the hot springs blend in harmony. The hot spring in the main building is a weakly alkaline, hypotonic, high-temperature hot spring (simple hot spring) with a source temperature of an astounding 55.2°C. The water is soft and very gentle on the skin. Rich in natural minerals, the hot spring is said to be effective in easing muscle and joint fatigue and pain, and is also good for symptoms such as neuralgia, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, bruises, and sprains. It is also known to be effective for chronic digestive disorders and hemorrhoids, and is also useful for improving sensitivity to the cold and promoting blood circulation.

"We booked this hotel with the whole family to meet up with friends for a ski trip. It's an older hotel that recently reopened, and the facilities are decently maintained. If you're looking for a super luxurious experience, this might not be the place for you. However, the number of rooms and the space are quite generous for Japan, and all basic facility needs are met. Plus, there's an onsen and open-air bath on the top floor, which was incredibly therapeutic after a day of skiing. The front desk staff were all sweet, kind young women who spoke Chinese and provided thoughtful and attentive service throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Orange/Blue line, making it easy to get to the ski resort and the train station. The family room offered excellent value for money and comes highly recommended."

Daimaru is accommodation that can provide meals and has a shuttle service to the Naeba Ski Resort

"Although this place isn't right on the ski slopes, they offer a shuttle service. The rooms are spacious enough, and the staff are friendly and can speak both Chinese and Japanese. They can also help you rent ski equipment, and the rental fees are much cheaper than at the ski center. The bathhouse has a nostalgic vibe. If you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you need to book with the owner in advance. The meals are affordable and come in generous portions. This is the best accommodation choice if you're planning a ski trip without a tour group."

Yuzawa Powder Snow Inn is the perfect place to unwind after a day of travel or work.

"Very tiny room. No check in counter. Even though we were the only guests, owner won't allow us extra pillows. Their pillows are sooooo soft. Security wise, anyone can walk into the guest room areas. Sure there's cameras but..."
