"Full disclosure: I have not stayed here because I mismanaged my planning and while this is an absolutely perfect location for the Spiritual Camino, my timing did not allow for this variant of the pilgrimage. What my review, therefore, will be about is the interaction I've had with Santiago, Sarita, and Maga, the small team behind Pousada Armenteira, prior to and all the way up to my cancelling my booking with them. Their property seems OBJECTIVELY really good judging by the ratings here and on other sites. More importantly, though, they seem like genuinely NICE people and this is something always worth appreciating. From the moment I booked this property I was eagerly looking forward experiencing it. The team was responsive and kind throughout all our interactions. Even when realising I made a planning mistake and I have to cancel, they were nothing but curteous and understanding. It is this that engenders loyalty and positive reviews. I look forward to doing the Camino Portuguese again and 100% staying here. It honestly looks like an amazing place to spend at least 2 nights, and most other reviews here and elsewhere confirm this."

"This hotel was very nice and clean. There were a pool and terrace. I could the sea from my room. The view was very nice. Breakfast was good. I stayed here for 2 nights. In the second morning I had to leave here early so I thought I couldn’t have breakfast but staffs prepared my picnic breakfast. I satisfied it. Staffs were very kind. I left my luggage in the bus. I told them about that. They called the bus office immediately and picked it up to my room. Thank you so much."

"This hotel charges per person not per room i wish they advertised that. i got a double room with 2 beds for me my wife and my 11 year old and they tried to charge extra for my 11 year old. when i got to the hotel they told me this and i told them i would go somewhere else and the rude person at the counter said that she wouldn’t give me my money back. i refuse to pay extra for my 11 year old and just wanted my money back and they have refused to give me my money until now they are a scam hotel. terrible service."

"We last stayed at Casa do Sear in 2020 and since then this small, family run, hotel has added a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna and also offers spa treatments. The rooms are still lovely, everything is beautifully presented and quality linen, towels and bath robes are provided. The food is sensational accompanied by their own albarino wine. We ate in on both nights. Scallops followed by sea bass the first night and croquetes followed by hake with Galician green sauce on the second night. We also each enjoyed a relaxing reflexology session. Elena and her father are such welcoming hosts that we will be revisiting in the future."

"We came in family with a baby three days and it was 10 years old. We had a water cooler, a refrigerator, a water boiler with bottles of water, a baby towel all we needed and more The room on the lower floor with spectacular views as if we were in the sand itself on the beach. The beautiful room with charm and bed and comfortable cottage as in few hotels The restaurant we eat from 10 the menu that included our middle pension and breakfast without need to be huge had what was necessary and more We are enchanted with the hotel and The hotel is a good place to go and go out with the rest of the hotel."
