"Fantastic tatami room and excellent onsen."
Hotel Furukawa Hills
"The building itself looked old, but the interior was clean and very nice. Although I booked a single room, they gave me a slightly larger room, which made my stay very comfortable. I thought it was a great deal considering breakfast was included. I would like to use this hotel again if I have the opportunity."
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Kounkaku
"Out of no where in a remote Onsen town . It actually turned out to be very nice. Big room clean and as always good service from the staff . Breakfast was excellent with good food. The Onsen was really impressive . The wi fi need to be improved as it can only be used in ground floor but not in the room"
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Masuya
"good!"
Ryokan Ohnuma
"This hotel is part of the Secret Hot Spring Association, and its onsen is truly renowned. You can book a private hot spring bath up on the mountain, and the front desk will drive you there. However, the hotel is a bit old, especially some of the rooms, and they lack private bathrooms. The shared restrooms have a strange, unpleasant odor."
APA Hotel Miyagi Furukawa Ekimae
"I was knocked on the door of the room and woke up early in the morning. I thought it was cleaning after I knew I was leaving the room, but it seemed that I was knocking all the doors, and I thought it was such a system, but I was sorry that I wanted to sleep a little more."
Naruko Hotel
"This time, I stayed at the historic Naruko Kankan Hotel, opting for a one-night, two-meal stay, and the overall experience was very satisfying. The room was a Japanese-style tatami room, clean and spacious, with mountain views from the window, which was very soothing. Naruko Onsen is renowned for its rich spring water quality, and the hotel has various hot spring pools for bathing. Dinner was a lavish buffet with a wide variety of local specialties, including various kinds of sashimi and shrimp, Miyagi Prefecture rice, and seasonal vegetable tempura—many of the dishes were delicious. Breakfast was also a buffet, with diverse options and simple, comforting flavors. Overall, this is a traditional and comfortable onsen hotel, recommended for travelers who want to deeply experience the charm of Naruko in the Tohoku region."
Hotel Route-Inn Furukawa Ekimae
"The service was good. They responded to what I asked. The location was good. The bath was great. I will stay here again."
Naruko Fuga
"I understand that this group has adopted mobile ordering to reduce the number of staff, but they have a separate ledger for the online booking and the private bath reservation made two days before check-in, which was snatched away by another guest. The alternative offered was to have another guest leave after only five minutes in, which is insane. In the end, we had to just accept it."

"The building is getting old, but ... I was healed by hot spring ♨️."
Yuami No Yado Numakura
"This inn is run by a young couple. The proprietress was very attentive and responded quickly to our requests. There are two bathtubs, allowing for a relaxing soak, and locals were also using them. The breakfast and dinner were thoughtfully prepared and very satisfying. It was nice to be able to relax after a long time."

"I thought I was prepared based on reviews on travel sites, but I was wrong. It was worse than I expected, in a bad way. I'm not particularly sensitive, so I thought I'd be able to manage, but I regretted it the moment I arrived. The entrance is the first thing guests see, and there was a pile of paperwork there. (It was piled high, like something out of a comic book, and it felt like it would collapse if even the slightest movement were to happen.) The front desk also only had a small amount of space available for the piles of paperwork, so even things like bathing tax payments had to be handed over in person. (There was nowhere to put them.) The tatami mats in the room were so dirty that even moving clothes or bags would get covered in crumbs. The futon was made of rice crackers. There were no tissues provided, so I had to bring my own pocket tissues (maybe there were some somewhere, but maybe I just didn't notice). Of course, if this was for around 6,000 yen with two meals included, I wouldn't have any complaints, but it was 9,350 yen. I had just stayed at a much cleaner inn with delicious food for just under 9,000 yen a few days earlier, so it was even more unacceptable. The toilet in the room was just barely normal, so I managed to bear it. The bath water quality was good, but overall I didn't feel like taking a bath, so I only went once. I felt bad for the owner because he's a nice guy, but even so, I think he should have thought a little more about how he would feel if he were a customer. I won't be going there again, but for those who don't mind that sort of thing, it might be nice to have meals in your room and feel at ease (I think these things vary from person to person)."
Pension Mori Rinko
"The food was very delicious👍"

"Every year, we visit the inns of the Japan Society for Preserving Secret Hot Springs. My husband used to come here with his parents, and after about 10 years, we decided to go again with our family. He said, "We chose this place because the water was good and there was a lot of delicious food!" Just as the reviews said, the water was very warming and we were very satisfied. We couldn't finish our dinner. The food was of a high standard, even among secret hot springs. Also, we had an all-inclusive plan, so we had all-you-can-drink and checked out at 11:00. My middle school-aged child has been begging us to come again, so we're thinking of coming again."
Ryokan Yusa
"This is an inn that I wanted to stay at someday when I used it for a day trip before the coronavirus pandemic. As with all inns in Naruko, you can stay at a low price and the quality of the spring water is good. If I have time, I would like to try the hot spring treatment. The outside of this inn is old and looks bad, but the inside was very clean and I didn't feel any discomfort. All of Naruko's inns have unique hot springs, but the one that impressed me the most was the private open-air bath outside. It was filled with the feeling of a secret base and tickled my childish mind. The food was delicious and I was very satisfied with my stay for 1 night and 2 days. The owners of the inns are very friendly and I'm starting to find more inns that I want to stay at again."
Yusaya Ryokan
"I went there after watching the YouTuber 'Yuuki' and had a nice stay for 3 days and 2 nights. 1. Room condition It is an old building with about 15 rooms inside. The room I was given was a room called Wisteria. It was divided into three areas: the entrance, main room, and veranda (with sink). The heater is oil-type and there is no hair dryer inside the room, so you have to use it in the bath on the first floor. The room was a tatami room, but because it was old, the soundproofing was not good. 2. Meal The staff said that every meal had a different side dish every day, and except for some salads and vegetables, every day was a different meal. It was a luxurious meal with memorable foods such as natto, Sendai beef, kingfish, etc. The amount was just right for an adult male to eat. 3. Hot springs There are three hot springs in Yusaya. -Outdoor open-air bath: This is an outdoor bath that can be used only once per night for 30 minutes. You will be called to your room on time and will arrive in 2 minutes on foot. It was a private open-air bath that could be used that way. I think you can have a good experience as long as you're careful that it gets chilly at night. - Hot springs inside the ryokan: Men’s and women’s baths change depending on the time. The moment I entered the eel stew, I could feel my skin becoming slippery. -Public bathhouse: When you leave the ryokan, it is a public bathhouse on the right. If you get a ticket at the counter, you can use it unlimitedly. 4. The rest The staff are all very friendly. I think the fact that he came to meet me until I left and took me to Naruko Onsen Station by car on time even though it was raining kept it in my memory for a long time until the very end. thanked."
