"Needs updating asap"

"They said they would provide twin or king beds on site, but even though we came as a couple, they provided a twin bed. I was told there was a late check-out, so I asked the day before, and the desk told me to ask after breakfast the next day, so I went back and was told I should have done it the day before, but ended up not being able to do it. There was no water or anything in the room. I thought the hotel should have at least provided a bottle of water."

"Would not recommend this hotel. It is certainly not a 4 star. Poor selection of food. The meat and fish were over cooked and barely edible, food not replenished quickly meaning less choice. Rooms and general hotel needs a good deep clean. The corridors are dark and dingy. Felt like we were in a hostel not a 4 star hotel. 5 minute walk from beach and supermarket."

"We as a family have stayed in many hotels to the north and East of the island of Mallorca, this year we stayed in the south at the Globales Mimosa for ten days in August. There are good and bad points to make others aware if you are thinking of staying at this hotel that align with other posts. I'll start with the bad points; - A standard requirement for a 4 star hotel is Air Conditioning, unfortunately the rooms we stayed in (we had 2 rooms on the 4th floor) were not equipped with sufficient AC, more like an in-sufficient fan blowing warm air. We asked 3 times for this to be fixed and had a technician attempt to fix it but he said it was the best we were getting. We asked reception for a fan and they gave us one but at a cost to us... Due to the lack of AC the least the hotel could have done in the form of compensating for no AC is not let us pay?. Maybe the Quality control Manager can either get the AC fixed or supply fans free of charge which would be better customer service. - We found the Bar and reception staff generally moody (2 members of staff were pleasant and friendly), many eyes were rolled or shrugging of shoulders with simple requests. Disappointing for a "4 star" hotel. - We try and speak Spanish when we travel to Spain or the Spanish islands and attempt to build relationships with staff but unfortunately this time at this hotel we were made fun of and so gave them the same respect and just spoke English to them with no manors. - General Atmosphere was ok but talking with other people and hearing their unfortunate experiences cast a dark cloud over this hotel during a sunny and hot August. - We had 2 rooms with 3 people in each. In our opinion the rooms are not spacious for 3 people! Ok / Good Points; - Location for us was fine, a short walk to local amenities and the beach. - The cleanliness was ok in the hotel.....but please check the storage where the glasses are kept in the dining area......we spotted ants (lots of them) a number of times? - We found the Entertainment staff were friendly. Entertainment was ok, a short walk from the hotel and you are on the front promenade with other entertainment. - The pool area is good and enjoyed the watersports, pool competitions and daytime snack area. So unfortunately this hotel does not come close to other hotels we have stayed in as a family on Mallorca. I appreciate you cannot please everyone but fixing the Air Conditioning and some staff training with customer service could help this hotel to not have so many similar poor reviews. Quality Control Manager - Happy for you to accommodate us (at your cost) to come back and review when these points have been rectified? (smiley face)"

"The preferred hotel for vacation, good location and good environment"

"Fantastic, all around. We had previously stopped here September’25 for the first time. Wanted to compare the two dates for best options on future visits. It’s ideally located and should cover everyone’s needs. We stopped in a lovely apartment overlooking the pool. There options for rooms for larger groups. All rooms will be cleaned on a daily basis when required. The staff have and are amazing, nothing is ever too much. From reception when you arrive, housekeeping, restraunt/bar and poolside. They are all so friendly and helpful. The complex is spotless, the poolside is well stocked with sun loungers and umbrellas. Food and drinks are available and great quality, good value, from burgers, wraps, sandwiches and salads. The beachfront is only three minutes walk around the corner. Location is very lively, but quieter parts are available as you walk around the bays ( three smaller bays making up one larger bay) each bay have a mix of shops, restaurants and bars. You can literally walk out the hotel and keep on a main road and walk parallel to the seafront. You pass so many lovely restaurants it’s unbelievable. This road will take you to the resort of Magaluf, 25 minutes away. This is very lively and has undergone large investment. So don’t be put off by past reports. Back to the apartments, they have good sized rooms with air conditioning, double glazing doors to balcony, cuts out noise, good sized bathroom with showers. Also has in reception area, luggage room and shower room and toilets. So you can still checkout and relax if you have later flight times. Either long weekend or longer, this is the ideal location for all your needs. Supermarket 200 yards out from the front entrance, two minutes walk for your outside entertainment. Definitely try it, you will not be disappointed."
