"Overall we had a nice week and a good holiday, but there are a few things that let the hotel down for what is supposed to be a 5-star. Things I thought should be better The biggest issue is the pool area. Around both the kids' pool and the main pool they've used some sort of poured concrete finish instead of tiles. It's crumbled away and leaves small sharp stones everywhere. It looks awful and isn't nice to walk on barefoot. This isn't a few broken tiles that need replaced, it's a rip-it-up-and-start-again type job. I genuinely think management or the directors should walk around the pools barefoot and tell me they think it's acceptable for a 5-star hotel. It's a bit of an eyesore and footsore. See pics The pool bars don't open until 11am for drinks and ice cream. For a family hotel this is the latest we've ever experienced. We're early birds with young kids so it wasn't ideal. Food was a bit mixed. I'd expect smoked salmon every day and decent quality red meat in a 5-star. They only had fairly low-grade smoked salmon every second day, and the beef on a few occasions was incredibly tough, borderline inedible. It was actually a struggle some days to find a decent tender protein source. They definitely cut corners here. The gym is a nice space but lacking in equipment. Dumbbells only go to 25kg, one adjustable bench which was broken (although still usable), cable stack, lat pulldown/row, leg curl and some cardio. There was loads of room for more equipment. It felt like the person who designed it wasn't a gym person, and neither was the person who signed it off. It's not the worst hotel gym I've seen but it could be so much better with very little effort. The mini disco was only about 15 minutes long and mostly songs the kids didn't know. It lacked all the classic mini disco songs that kids love and look forward to every night. Things we liked We paid for a one-bedroom Jacuzzi terrace room and absolutely loved it. The extra space was brilliant with two young kids who nap during the day, and we got plenty use out of the terrace. The hotel is very clean and really well presented throughout. The fruit and vegetables were as good as, if not better than, anywhere we've been. Really fresh and full of flavour. The a la carte restaurants were excellent, especially the Mediterranean. Having steak included was a nice touch and it felt like a proper à la carte experience. We never had any issues getting booked a day or two in advance. The drinks were excellent too. Great cocktail menu and everything we had was first class. The grounds are beautiful and really well looked after. You always saw staff gardening and maintaining the place. The entertainment staff were very good. Our 3 and 7-year-old loved the evening area. It's not huge but it works well and feels very family friendly, giving the kids space to run around. "Booked with Jet2 for 4 nights. Arrived 11am and we paid 15 Euros to get into our room early. Good sized family room for 3 of us. Hotel clean and patio doors keep any outside noise out. All inclusive isn’t what I would call it. The drinks menu is awful and VERY limited. The cocktails are disgusting premixed syrup with juice added or water. Wine is watered downs One was suppose to have lemonade and when I said it’s made with water she replied we aren’t allowed to use 7up anymore in our cocktails. The cups are small and full of ice and 3/4 full. So you’ve drunk it before you get back to your sunbed. Only 2 drinks each so 3 of us meant 2 had to go to bar. Pool at food is pizza , awful burgers and chips with salad. Their only restaurant is buffet and you only get coffee at breakfast !!! How can you not have coffee at lunch or dinner, they turn the machines off. Ridiculous to not have coffee available. We ended up having to pay for drinks. An all inclusive that isn’t all inclusive Food basic and always cold. Pizza were good that’s all we ate. It’s a 3 star NO WAY a 4 star. Hotel is kept clean all over so well done to housekeeping. 5 minute walk to bars so location is good."

"We’ve just come back from a week stay at the hotel and it’s definitely a mixed bag and not a 4 star hotel. Before arriving we were worried about the recent reviews and unfortunately majority are largely correct. The first day we had ants in the room, which one of the lovely cleaners hoovered up but they were a constant reappearance throughout our stay and we were on the 7th floor! Our room was a double room with pool view, however we also had two infants with cots and the room was no where near big enough with the cots included. Both our boys are nearly 2, and with being on the 7th floor we were unable to open the balcony door with the fear of something happening. The room it self apart from the cots and the location was okay and would be fine for a couple. The hotel states that it’s good for families however we definitely woudnt recommend the hotel to anyone with kids under 10. There are three pools, one splash which was good for the kids but far too much for our two year olds and adjacent small park next to the pool. The play equipment too big for our two year olds and the play area is not fenced off either so we’re unable to let them run around without fear of them falling in the pool. There is another slightly larger pool for older children and a large adult pool, there’s no issues with these pools themselves. The biggest issue we had with the pools was the access, we had a double pram and the ramps leading down to splash pool zig zag across the other two pools leading you to have weave in and out of sun beds and other people it’s a fair old work out just to get down let alone back up to the hotel. Also at the end of our corridor the fire doors were open all the time meaning the staircase was fully exposed all the time so we couldn’t take our eyes of the children incase they tripped or ran down the corridor. The evening entertainment was weak, the staff did their best but every night drew a minimal crowd and there was no entertainment for adults. Credits to Sally her enthusiasm shone threw with the kids. So then this brings us onto the food, the first few days it was okay at best but then it becomes very monotonous and every day was practically the same, with many items not being labelled so end up guessing. Many of the food items just didn’t complement each other for example just having burgers but no bread or cheese to make burgers… There were also no real kids items apart from picking bits off the buffet. There was a kids section but it remained empty, the entire stay so not sure if it’s even in use anymore. My partner also experienced quite a few rude or unhelpful staff in the restaurant with a few not interested in helping her which was disappointing. The location of the hotel is great if your physically fit but if you have a pram or physical issuesI would not recommend the location. The hotel is on top of a steep hill, with a walk about 5 minutes down and about 10/15 back up depending on your pace. In terms of noise we had no issues, du"

"Unbelievable, love this place and the staff that make your holiday so memorable. Reception received on arrival, bar and catering staff & especially housekeeping. It is truly an amazing experience. Nothing is ever too much for any member of the team. They literally go above and beyond to make your stay special on a daily basis. Location is ideal for the great experience that Parmanova as to offer. I could literally ramble through all the complimentary statements. But seeing is believing and truly enjoying this beautiful part of Majorca. "Lovely family holiday - thank you Stayed here 6-13th, arrived around 3.35pm. Welcome was friendly, checked in straight away, we stayed in a Magnus room on ground floor over looking the pool was perfect for a pram & family hot tub on balcony was an added touch, plus fridge, kettle, coffee machine! Spacious room! Positives : Hotel had eveything you needed. Staff were great, they would go extra mile if you needed help. (Reception lady helped us get tape / superglue to fix daughters toy) Pedro on the entrance to the restaurant went to find sweets for my son as they weren’t on in the restaurant one day Amarmdo in the snack bar man was friendly Claudia animation staff lady amazing/ never still! Great size pool & slides too Location - 10 minutes to beach & lidl, taxi to magaluf €8-10 took 10 minutes Food & choice if drink good. Late check out €60 till 6pm if availability Towel hire by pool €10 per towel with 3 changes per week Negatives: (No negatives as such just little tweaks) Pool never opened until 10am - 9am would be good Plastic cups & no branded alcohol No gate on balcony for children if pool view ground floor"
