Very Good
GGuest UserIdeal location for visiting local motorhome show.
Room was separate to the Inn which meant we were not affected by the music being played. Room was a lovely size with a comfortable double bed, side tables and wardrobe. A desk with a couple of drawers with tea/coffee making items and two bottles of water was also in the room. The shower was large with good water pressure and lovely temperature control. Toiletries were provided in the form of small bottles of shampoo, shower gel etc. electrical heaters were provided but were not needed during our stay.
Ate food in the Inn. The first night service was slow as table booked for seven but wasn’t asked what we wanted until quarter past eight! It wasn’t that busy that night but that was the only negative. The food was delicious and the breakfasts were exceptional. All the staff were very friendly and we would definitely stay again if we were in that area again. (Sorry tried to add pics but they wouldn’t upload)
徐徐Chinese people who speak good English can choose, the price is affordable, and you can cook something for yourself. If you don’t have good English, you should choose carefully. There is no front desk. It is more troublesome to send emails when checking in.
JJacp91Was a lovely stay, room is an old converted cottage, big and comfortable beds and wonderfully clean bathroom. The staff were friendly, chatty and helpful in every way. 10/10 will recommend anyone to stay here and hopefully will beck again one day.
GGuest UserVery close to Newbury Railway Station, just a few minutes away. Located in Newbury Market, the scenery nearby is very beautiful. The room is a bit rudimentary, but there is nothing missing, there is everything. The room is in the backyard of the bar, and it is very convenient to go to the bar for a drink at night. Breakfast is not self-service, there are several breakfast options, and then you can make it. The breakfast is delicious, especially the fried eggs, and the fire is just right.
I am going to Hacklear Castle. The front desk called a taxi for me. It costs more than 30 pounds to Hacklear Castle. I didn't book a ticket to Hacklear Castle in advance. It is also possible to buy a ticket there. Unlike the online, you must book a ticket in advance.
CConnieSecond time coming here. The rooms were not as clean as first time round. Mostly the carpet and the bathroom being not so clean. But overall would stay again.
