Central Lombok Regency Hotels with Parking

The staff are all very nice and eager to help. The resort is very beautiful just like the pictures and like out of the movies. The restaurant was great too!  It was quiet there and peaceful. It was perfect for me. All the guests are polite and nice. Only one thing puzzles me. I ordered the ride to the public ferry the last day when I check out. The receptionist clearly told the driver to lead me to the public ferry location. However, the driver led me to a private ferry store. I spotted the scheme by the price. And then, while the driver was there with me, I was told to give the money to another guy. He seemed to be nice and tried to help. Until later on, I realized his helps require money at the end. He asked me specific price for his help and his friend. It was an awful experience. The public ferry was literally just opposite to the private stall. And the driver specifically pointed me to the private stall. I suspect they know each other.  I felt like I was framed just because I didn’t know and asked for help.  Be careful for all the travelers to Indonesia. There are a lot of nice people here, but also be alerted for schemes.

Hotel itself is beautiful with well-kept grounds and a gorgeous pool area that feels really relaxing. It’s in a great location, right on the main strip so everything is within walking distance, but tucked away enough that it still feels peaceful and quiet. Rooms are huge, modern, and very clean, with daily housekeeping and fresh water provided. Tea/coffee facilities, a mini fridge, and a TV with plenty of channels. Staff were amazing - so friendly, helpful, and quick to assist with anything. I did have an issue with noise from internal building works, but the team handled it well, moving me quickly and even gave me a complimentary upgrade, which I really appreciated. Facilities overall were great. Pools are beautiful with plenty of sun loungers. The pool at the back of the resort was quieter (and away from nearby building works). Food was also really good - breakfast was tasty, although for the first few days it was à la carte rather than buffet due to lower occupancy, which was a little disappointing, but there was still plenty of food. Lots of convenient extras too - room service available as well as laundry service (although a bit pricey). The hotel can also arrange taxis to the airport (around 250K IDR, cash only), as Grab doesn’t seem to operate in the area. Location-wise, it’s perfect. Great restaurants nearby like Cantina Mexicana and KRNK for a quick bite, plus a supermarket right next door and plenty of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. **Tip:** try to request a room in the newer part of the hotel at the back of the resort - it’s quieter (away from building works) and more updated.

What we loved: The restaurant food is absolutely delicious — we highly recommend their Ayam Taliwang, easily the best we’ve tasted so far! The breakfast spread is also excellent: alongside a great range of standard options, they serve Arabian roti with wonderful condiments including hummus, labneh, and baba ganoush, plus a healthy corner offering nuts, quinoa, freshly squeezed juices, and homemade jamu (traditional Indonesian herbal drink). We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Kuta, making it easy to explore local dining and spas. Areas for improvement: - Shower water pressure is a little low. - The toilet and shower share a single door, which can be inconvenient for guests other than couples. - There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance, so a short drive is always needed.

View: 4.5/5 Villa size: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Maintenance: 2/5 This villa is as big as it looks on their website with amazing view. However, it is quite rundown and needs a refresh, especially the toilet.  The toilet bowl has stains and the overall bathing area are mouldy. I understand we’re in the middle of nature but I would expect better maintenance. Plus the water pressure was low. Maybe it was the rainy season (it rains every evening/overnight), the area is filled with millipedes everywhere, the worst part is that they are in the villa as the doors/sliding doors have gaps. We’re fine if the insects stay outdoors but the millipedes enter our villa every single time and they appear at every creak of the villa. It was tiring trying to keep them out of the villa.  The redeeming factor for the villa is really the view, the Indonesian cuisine at Aura and their prompt service. The view is as amazing as you see on their website, if not more. And they have exceptional food at their restaurant and the service was superb. And yes, there are monkeys in the morning and evenings. The staffs will inform you upon check-in, to lock the doors and avoid eye contact.

The room was nice and clean, but it was incredibly noisy – even at night, you could hear everything from the street, like very loud cars and music. The hotel can't really be blamed for that. Across the street, there's a grocery store, which is really convenient. There are also quite a few dining options around.

Petugasnya baik, ramah dan helpfull. Tempatnya banyak ngadain acara juga, nawarin event bbq atau belajar surfing. Dapet kamar yg paling pojok, fasilitasnya standar, dapet bed di atas jd kalo geraknya extra ada suara krekek krekek besinya. Terus yg sangat disayangkan adalah bidet toiletnya kecil bgt keluarnya😭 trs yg mandi ada yg agak jorok gitu kek bekas lulurannya gak kesiram ngalir kebuang😢 mgkn karena mostly foreigner semua yg book disini kali ya, yaudala

Great stay at JM Hostel Kuta Lombok! The place is clean, comfortable. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the location is convenient for exploring Kuta Lombok. A nice and affordable place to stay.

So the hotel is nothing special... and as for the rooms, I ended up on the 5th floor on one side where they didn't even make a window... there is a glass door but you can't open it, only air conditioning... a hell, highly inadvisable and the wifi sucks.
