Amazing
蘿蘿菈The hotel is in an excellent location, in the first row with sea views. The rooms are very spacious. Although it is an old hotel, it still looks very good overall. Some of the furniture is a little old, but it does not affect the quality of the stay. The shower in particular is great. The hotel provides traditional breakfast, which we are a little uncomfortable with. Overall, the CP value is quite high and it will be included in the options for returning.
JJas_travelGreat location - just a street next to the American village, which has a variety of food options nearby and touristy stuff to do!
Amazing breakfast - the hotel offered a few main course as breakfast options complemented with a salad bar. Taste of food was delicious!
Stylist hotel design - the interior of the lobby is very artsy and spacious. The hotel room is nicely furbished with comfy colours and modern designs as well.
Overall I had an amazing stay in there.
MMietaiyouThis was our second hotel during our Okinawa trip, and its location was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of American Village, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There's a direct pathway from the hotel to the beach, perfect for watching the sunset. A Lawson convenience store is right below the annex, and all sorts of shops in American Village are nearby. It's lively and beautifully lit up at night. Walking to Aeon Mall takes about 5-8 minutes, which is also very handy.
The room itself was really spacious, a stark contrast to the typically smaller rooms on mainland Japan. It even had a small balcony where we could enjoy the sea view. Amenities could be replenished on the first floor. On the tenth floor, there's a lovely communal bath facing the ocean; when I went in the afternoon, I practically had the whole place to myself. Soaking in the bath while watching the sunset was pure bliss. After a good soak, there's a vending machine where you can grab some milk – the perfect accompaniment to a Japanese bath.
Breakfast was incredibly extensive, featuring all sorts of local specialties like soba noodles, Yudofu (boiled tofu), and salted pork slices. You could even make your own seafood bowl with various sashimi options available for self-service. We ate so much both days that we could easily skip lunch.
If you need to catch a bus to Naha city center or the airport, you can ask the front desk for information and make a reservation. The bus stop isn't directly in front of the hotel anymore, but it's just a 3-5 minute walk. We booked and paid for our tickets a day in advance at the hotel. When it was time to depart, there was staff waiting at the bus stop. For our trip to Asahibashi, it was 900 JPY for an adult, and half price for children who occupy a seat.
GGuest UserWe stayed on the top floor. The room is very spacious, with utensils and kitchenware. There is a convenient store in a short walk. The American village is very close, take about 10 minutes to walk to. Several restaurants near the condo within walking distance. We are very happy with the stay. At night time, the ******** of motorbike or cars would do racing on the main road which is quite noisy and disturb for about 30-45 minutes and from time to time. It's not about the hotel anyway, just the surrounding at night.
AAnonymous UserClosely situated to the American Village providing a convenient and ideal location for families and friends. Super clean and comfortable room for a fuss free stay.
GGuest UserThere is no restaurant but nice cafes in the area. Araha beach is a 5 minutes walk away, American Village around 15 minutes. Staff is friendly. Room was spotless when we checked in. There are washing machine and dryer in the room. Bed sheets are changed only every 9 days, you will need to pay if you want it done more often. Overall a pleasant stay
GGuest UserStayed for 5 nights for USD$528 as a family with a toddler in Jan 2026.
Pros: Good value given its excellent location and made for a good base in Chatan. The waterfront was at our doorstep (stone steps rather than beach) and we got to see the sunset. Stay on a Saturday night and get to see the 8pm fireworks from your room. Lots within short driving range, restaurants and Aeon Chatan. Hotel staff were friendly and amenities were sufficient for our needs. There was a complimentary light breakfast with coffee of extremely diluted juice, along with a tiny pastry heated up.
Cons: This was by far the worst hotel bed we’ve slept on. The bed was too soft and caused leg pain for my husband as a result he slept in the sofa bed, which opened into an “n” shape with the top and bottom sinking down. There was also a hard metal rod in the frame. We tried requesting for an extra duvet to make it more comfortable for him and was quoted ¥3000 for it. The room was old and dusty and floor didn’t feel clean and area underneath the bed was dusty. We shifted the bed to make space for the toddler to play and as a result we sneezed all night. The sea view was nice but as we only paid for a mid-level floor, people could easier look in hence we kept our blinds closed most of the time.
We asked ourselves if we would ever visit again given the good location and view but sadly we decided no as my husband fell sick often during that stay due to poor sleep.
GGuest UserThe place itself was quite clean and in a nice location. The only problem with the place is it’s impossible to contact any staff. They have no front desk, and even though they have a “direct line” at the entrance of the hotel, no one picks up even during their working hours.
The WiFi in my room broken down after the first night of my stay, I tried to contact the hotel staff through phone call, email etc but received no response from them, the issue persisted until the end of my trip, rendering me unable to access the internet.
Luckily trip.com was responsive and gave me a reasonable compensation for the additional costs I incurred in order to access the internet.
In short, the hotel is decent if you don’t run into any problems and don’t require any contact with their staff, otherwise I’d suggest you stay at somewhere with actual working staffs!
TThai happyA cute hostel with vintage vibe. The staff is very nice and friendly. I was especially satisfied with the location because there’s a big supermarket and drug store right in front of the hostel. American Village is within walkable distance as well. Super convenient. Hair dryer, hair conditioner and laundry service are available. Overall I enjoyed the stay here.
SSara.KIf you check in late (after 9pm) They don’t let you stay even already paid in advance.
So, I did. We have to find another hotel instead. But staff was nice to suggest another hotel.
