YYuanwenzhengThis is my third time visiting Shimoda in Izu, and I've chosen this hotel all three times. While it's small, it's incredibly convenient, being just a one-minute walk from both the train and bus stations. What's even better is that their website states no breakfast is provided, but they actually offer a complimentary breakfast, which is a really nice touch. If I come to Shimoda again, I'll definitely pick this hotel.

Прекрасный пляж .
На рецепции все объяснили ) забронировали приватный Онсен. Купались ночью в бассейне ☺️ это лучшее , что может быть . Бар работающий с 20 до 22 часов и бармен Хироку , который готовил нам коктейли отличный джин-тоник за 300 йен -это просто подарок !!! Хироку тебе привет от девчонок из России и спасибо за отдых !!
Комнаты чистые и уютные !
Вещи можно было оставить после выезда и сходить на пляж
ЗАВТРАКИ ! Таких завтраков я ни в одной гостинице в Японии не ела )) омлет , овощи , фрукты , панкейки и безлимитный кофе 🙏🥰

TT TataThe hotel is located in a secluded area and it takes more than four hours to drive from Narita Airport, but once you enter, you will feel that it is well worth it.
The environment is elegant and comfortable, the room is clean and spacious, and the private bath is great!
Dinner and breakfast the next day were both served in the hotel restaurant. The ingredients were fresh and abundant, especially the famous local golden eye sea bream dishes.

GGuest UserThe hotel I was most looking forward to and the one that surprised me the most during my trip to Japan! I saw the reviews saying that the food was good, and I wanted to try it, so I booked it in advance.
When we arrived at the hotel, someone came to greet us and helped us with our luggage. We checked in and arranged for dinner. At first, I thought we would eat in the room, but I didn’t expect to eat in the restaurant, but it didn’t matter. The restaurant is a private room. When we arrived, the appetizers were already placed, and then someone came to serve us. I ate one dish after another until I was full. It’s too much! Who said that Japanese people eat less! And it’s really cost-effective, and the taste is also very good. It’s been 2 hours since we finished eating.
The breakfast is also very rich, and the grilled fish is also delicious. It’s still very good to experience Japanese breakfast!
We booked a tatami room. I thought I had to make the bed myself, but they helped me make it after dinner. The service was really thoughtful. However, I have to complain that the hot water in the bathroom was not hot enough. I just took a shower and went upstairs to take a hot spring bath (the public bathing water in the hot spring is better, and everyone can go upstairs to take a shower). I personally recommend everyone to take an open-air hot spring bath. It is really easy to lack oxygen in the indoor one. It is so comfortable to stare at the sea view in the morning! I will stay in this hotel again if I have the chance! ! ! Finally, the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off service. The timetable for going to the hotel is in the afternoon, and the time for going to Shimoda Station is in the morning. It seems that you need to make an appointment in advance, but it is still very convenient.

TTheYuccaThe overall environment is nice, with a sea view. However, since it's off-season, some bar singers aren't working. Driving here is a good option, but taking the bus is inconvenient, with buses running every hour. I didn't realize when booking that the room was for one person only. When checking out, because we were two people, the hotel asked me to pay an additional 800 RMB. They didn't mention the extra fee at check-in... The service experience wasn't very good. I certainly didn't notice this small detail, so please be aware of it when booking.

GGuest UserThere are cockroaches, all kinds of cockroaches. The big cockroaches are spinning in the room, and the middle cockroaches are lying on the ground in the game room. The small cockroaches are drilling in the tatami mats.
In fact, the small cockroach is not terrible, but it is annoying that it is possible to climb into the luggage and then follow home. This is more annoying.
Others are fine. Hotel service staff is very good. The hotel is right by the sea, convenient, no need to say.
If you are particularly afraid of cockroaches, you should find a new hotel. The old hotel may be difficult to have no cockroaches, after all, it is all wood. There is a Keikyu next to it, the price is double, but it is definitely a ”clean hotel”.

The hot spring pool has indoor and outdoor areas. The indoor area is a bit simple, while the outdoor area can smell the barbecue smoke coming from the restaurant.
The parking lot is a bit small, the staff will park for you so don't worry, but there is no guarantee that there will be no space.
Next is the buffet part. As for the barbecue, the meat is just average, neither particularly delicious nor particularly bad. I would mainly recommend sashimi and other seafood. As for desserts, there are quite a lot of small cakes and they are delicious, but they will be picked up by everyone and look unsightly, so they are not so delicious. But you can still give them a chance 🤣. The restaurant environment is the same as other affordable all-you-can-eat restaurants, the floor is a bit sticky so be careful.
