keirafranThis charming beach front hotel is tucked away 15 minutes from Uehara port. The main reason I travelled to Iriomote is because it recognised as an International Dark Sky Place and this hotel is the place to be to experience that! It has a fantastic roof where you can watch the star filled night sky and if you’re lucky (like I was) get to see the Milky Way. The staff are all very friendly and a Japanese style breakfast of rice, soup and assorted fish dishes is available in the morning alongside fresh coffee. It was a great stay, and I would happily come back!
