We opted for a one-night stay with two meals included. On the day of our stay, one of our travel companions couldn't eat beef, and when we mentioned it to the staff, they immediately substituted a different meat for us – so thoughtful! The quality of both breakfast and dinner was excellent!

The partial view from the room and the ocean view with a good view from the terrace spread out, and I was able to relax while listening to the quiet waves. There was a shell ashtray on the terrace, which was unnecessary for non-smokers. Also, it was a pity because the smell of cigarettes came from the next door. After that, it's very nice and I want to use it again.

Our room with sea view had a really great view of the bay. However, the hotel has been somewhat in the years and once needed some relief. Unfortunately, the air conditioning could not warm and because it was quite cold during our visit, we have some frozen some and our clothes are not dry overnight. There was a Japanese buffet with fish and miso soup, as well as bread and marmelade for breakfast. The staff was friendly and endeavoured, communication in English was not so easy in part.

This hidden gem of a hotel boasts a private beach and pool, and with no other facilities nearby, you can enjoy the scenery all to yourself. Washing machines and dryers are available free of charge. Detergent can be purchased at the front desk for 100 yen. There are no vending machines, but drinks can be purchased at the front desk. The food was quite delicious. Breakfast, in particular, felt like an Okinawan version of a typical Japanese inn or guesthouse breakfast, which was a refreshing change. The view from the restaurant was also beautiful. Renting a car is essential for access. While Uehara Port is closer, the Ishigaki-Uehara ferry service is sometimes suspended, so I went from Ohara Port. It's about a 30-minute drive each way. I recommend stopping at a supermarket near Ohara Port beforehand if you need to buy supplies.

I thought this place was pretty nice overall considering the price and remote location of Yonaguni. It's sort of like a ”glamping” vibe. The location is great if you're in Yonaguni to dive and also very close to the free bus stop, so it's quite easy to get around the island in general. There is indeed just one toilet that you have to share with the 3-person dorm and only a microwave to cook with in the kitchen, which can be a bit of a problem as dinner is a bit of struggle on Yonaguni.

The only large-scale hotel on the island, about 2 kilometers away from the airport. Breakfast is average and facilities are longer. There is a gas station opposite the hotel and a small shop at the door.
