Great
GGuest UserOur first time in Morocco and this hotel, adjacent to a stunningly beautifully restored bullfighting complex now used for cultural events, was beautiful also and the staff are outstanding. Every request was greeted with an enthusiastic response and immediate action. The hotel is only 1.5 years old and easily accessible from downtown, the walled markets and the airport. They have a restaurant open during business hours for guests and a breakfast buffet that was above and beyond. No pool , but wifi was good and staff were attentive and helpful. Would stay there again without question.
TTarik86My stay at Mamora Bay Hotel was exceptional. Located in Tangier’s historic old town, the hotel offers easy access to key attractions. The service was excellent—particularly from Mr. Tarik at reception, whose professionalism and hospitality stood out. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay! Our room had a beautiful view of the city. The staff were friendly and courteous. The location was near the medina and walking distance to restaurants, the medina and kasbah. Beautiful terrace for a drink as well as a piano bar. They also let me see the room that Matisse used to stay in.
AAbdel DadouThe location, the hotel, the staff, the breakfast, I can only say it's great 👍 and a big thank you to Mr. Baro Abdelrahim at the reception who is always available with help, advice and action 👍 a huge thank you, I can only recommend it.
JJulia BenredjemThe hotel is perfectly located with a mini-travel to Medina. The hotel staff is very friendly and premature. Due to the low location, there was a fixed menu with many choices as dinner instead of the buffet. I wish the staff had better communicated with the kitchen and only bring the next walk when the previous one was finished so that the food is not cold. Otherwise I can recommend it very much if you need a transition hotel, for example, before traveling.
FFoggy moonIt was my first time in Morocco, so I was nervous, but my taxi ride from the airport was a breeze. The reception staff were very polite, and I think they spoke English to me, French, Arabic, and even Spanish to others. They also told me about a tour available at the hotel during breakfast, and when I joined, the guide was very experienced and wonderful. I was able to see many sights I wouldn't have been able to see on my own, and we were able to talk about various things, which was a really great experience. Even when I made a little mess in my hotel room, I showed the female staff member a translation and she kindly helped me out. While tourists stare at me when I walk alone around the area, within a 15-minute walk of the tourist area, there are some aggressive touts, but I still have a great time and fully enjoy the exotic atmosphere.
GGuest UserWell. I didn’t like there very much it was alright just if you were only for 2 days afterwards isn’t a good place to stay in room didn’t have heater in the day light is alright but in the night is was very cold
GGuest UserThe location is excellent—quiet, away from the city’s noise, and offering a beautiful sea view that makes for a very relaxing stay. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the young staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. I would recommend this hotel to travelers across different budgets.
That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The rooms rely on air conditioning for heating, which was not very comfortable. A proper heating system, such as external radiators, would greatly improve guest comfort. During my 9-night stay, this issue unfortunately contributed to me catching a cold.
Additionally, installing bidets in the bathrooms would be a valuable upgrade, as this is an important feature many travelers appreciate but is currently missing. It is a relatively small investment that could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
GGuest UserGreat property and in a perfect location. Just outside the chaos of the Medina but very central. Good breakfast, comfortable mattresses, good soundproofing. The only flaw is the shower that tends to flood the bathroom.
Very large room and well organized spaces. Excellent hotel restaurant. Room service available at all times
