Kundasang Hotels with Parking

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Pampines Villa. The villa we stayed in huge with 3 beds on the 3rd floor, 2 beds on the second and 8 bunk beds on the 1st floor. It was airy and at the same time, warm enough at night to be comfortable despite the cold weather. Breakfast was really good at the L'amonia Cafe and Desserts. Service was excellent - responsive and unobtrusive. We will stay there again when we next visit Kundasang. The place is well-patronised and deserving of its popularity.

The place is such a dream! So beautiful & very relaxing, away from the bustling city. Just that the resort itself is a distance away from the restaurant. Definitely need your own transportation. But the staff are so helpful especially Mr Lee. He takes care of us very well. He helps to send us to & fro to the restaurant during our breakfast session. He even helps to decorate our room to suprise my husband for his birthday celebration.

The service provided by the staff was excellent. They were polite, friendly, and hardworking throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, with the fried mee hoon being a highlight. The room was very clean and well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. Above all, the stunning breakfast view of Mount Kinabalu truly made the experience unforgettable.

Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Pros: Easy check-in, with a receptionist available. Great location, only about a 5-minute walk to Bataras Supermarket, with Uncle Bob and Aicha in the same row, making it very convenient for food and daily necessities. Although it is close to the supermarket and shops, the area was surprisingly quiet at night. No bad smells in the house or around the toilets. The view is pretty good and better than expected. I requested a ground-floor unit because we had an older guest with us, and they kindly arranged a ground-floor unit for us. Really appreciated this. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The floors and kitchen were clean. The kitchen utensils were also clean, which was a big plus. Many guesthouses have clean rooms but dirty kitchen utensils, so I really appreciated this. The place is spacious and suitable for a big group. Cons: The bidet spray/water pressure was a little too strong, and some of the pipes were leaking. One of the toilets became clogged on the second day. There is a small graveyard nearby, but personally, it was not an issue for us at all. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and felt comfortable throughout. The convenient location, cleanliness, helpful staff, and spacious layout made this a great choice, especially for a big group. We definitely would love to stay here again!

A really nice place to stay if you have a car. Clean and convenient. It’s a little run down but I would say that is part of its charm. The beds were very comfortable and the balcony too. Worth the stay for sure. Located near by the national park and AkiAki trail and not too far away from the town centre.

Super lucky that we got a free upgrade from 2 rooms to a house by the host. The house was very clean, spacious, has all the things you need (living room with Astro TV channels and sofa, well-equipped kitchen with dining table, gas stove, fridge, oven, toaster and baby chair, 2 toilets and both has toilet and shower with water heater). Breakfast provided was super good. View from room very nice. The only downside was the way there, quite a remote area, road is full of potholes. Highly recommended to stay if you’re travelling if a family or a group of 6.

All good! We chose a room with plenty of single beds. There were 5 beds, haha, perfect for families, friends, or even a honeymoon. The room was really spacious too. Just a heads-up about the water heater, you can't adjust the temperature; the water gets super hot! You have to mix in cold water to get it lukewarm. Overall, it was great. There's a kettle and a water dispenser right outside the room door. And the views? Right at Mount Kinabalu itself!

Room floor is dirty (has hair and some still water near the sliding door, had to request for mop to wipe dry), understandable the room will be quite mouldy as the environment is very humid, no slippers provided in room (floor is super cold when stepped on bare foot), the floor mat outside the toilet is quite “wet” and very uncomfortable to step on to dry off feet after shower, water heater is unstable. Spacious parking, less than 5 minutes drive to Sabah National Park HQ. If you’re only in Kundasang for a hike in Mount KK, recommend to stay for a night if you’re not too

We just wanted to try doing it in a capsule.. but this is the first time we've done it in a capsule.. the place is a bit scary.. but we'll try doing it in a tent later.. everything else is ok..

Mount Kinabalu at 6am will really surprise you😲 We live on the highest floor, When you open the door and look to the left👀, you can see the whole Mount Kinabalu, and there are no wires or anything else blocking your view of taking photos😍😍😍 When you open the door and look to the right👀, you can see a sea of ​​clouds, and the wind is really comfortable and cool🥶 But there are a lot of small insects in the room, and the bed sheets are not very clean, so they itch..😂
