GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, really close to all the attractions! The price was great too, excellent value for money 👍. The bathroom has a detachable shower head, and the room's kitchen comes with cookware, even a hot pot for cooking – so good! The shared kitchen is huge, and there's a lovely view right outside the room 😊.

Hhhwb888The hotel is right next to the departure point for the Fox Glacier helicopter, and you can walk there after checking in. It rained when we came so we couldn't make the trip, but the hotel itself was pretty good and the room was large. The only drawback was that the water pressure was very low and the shower was not very comfortable. Breakfast is a Western-style buffet breakfast, which is not rich but enough to satisfy you. You can have dinner for white people at the whitepub coffee shop next to the hotel. It costs NZD 25-30 per person and the taste is okay. Hotels in Fox Glacier are generally expensive. After 11 days in New Zealand, this is the only one with a price over 1,000.

GGuest UserGenerally clean. Nice large room with fridge and TV, although only half the channels worked. No microwave which should be included as the restaurant appears to be indefinitely closed. There are several restaurants near which are good.
Very quite location so overall a good stay. Only way onto glacier is by helicopter which is costly.
