We loved this hotel, the room was amazing with a gorgeous view, the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety, and the pool area was great. Would definitely recommend!

For a four-star hotel, the pillows is too bad, uncomfortable, maybe because it's the cheapest room? The toilet flushing noise is kinda loud, but it's quiet room after all. No electric kettle in the room, 2 euros for 1L mineral water. Nothing else to complain about. Clean and tidy, staff are friendly and professional, good service.

The experience at Pestana Ocean Bay was quite pleasant. The staff were always very friendly and attentive, always helping when needed. They definitely have a team that cares about the guest, is attentive, and empathetic. I felt very welcomed. In a questionnaire I completed mid-stay, I mentioned that the buffets could have grapes (this is because my daughter really likes them, and grapes were a fruit that hadn't yet emerged). I made this observation thinking it wouldn't even be read. However, the next day, when we arrived in our room, we had a beautiful plate of grapes. At that moment, we felt welcomed, as if we were at home. It was a gesture of care that touched us. Congratulations on this and for actually reading the questionnaires, which we often think no one will read and care about what's written there. They are well organized, presented, and manage everything involved in a stay: meals, evening entertainment, outings/tours, etc. Keep up the excellent work ☺️ Thank you.

We were staying with group of friends. And everybody were impressed — beautiful hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms, hot water (sometimes it can be a problem in Madeira, but not here). Also veryyyy tasty breakfast — a lot of different fresh food, good coffee. And atmosphere in general very friendly and calm. Also they have swimming pool and terrace on the roof, even in cold weather it’s really nice just to look at the city and the sea from the top. Thanks, we will be happy to come back :))

Very sociable kind staff who talk to you like a regular friend coming in, plain rooms but nice sized windows for the fresh air, great rooftop view alllllll over the mountain and the ocean - especially lovely at night as everything is lit up. Cute bar setup aside the pool too! Good price for its perfect location and cleanliness and covering all the basics and a bit more. Good brunch cafe just across the street facing the cafe! The staff were super helpful with setting up a late checkin too.
