LEO NG 1388First of all, this is a private pool villa. The operation is a little different from that of a hotel. You can call them when you go to the door or when you arrive on the island to prepare. A certain level of English communication skills is required here, so please use your own discretion. The location is right at Tawean Beach, which has the most activities and is the most popular. It is really good. After playing in the water, you can go back to take a shower and change clothes. It is also very convenient to go back to the room to get your equipment if you forget it. The location shown on Google Maps is actually accurate. There is an alley next to the beach and you just need to walk in. For breakfast, the staff will ask you when you would like to have your meal tomorrow morning and then deliver it to your private pool. It tastes good and the portion is quite sufficient.

Guest UserThe hotel and its location are excellent, the rooms are modern and clean, we loved everything. We'd like to extend our gratitude to the hotel staff member with the wonderful name Antra for the amazing service she provided, both at the bar and throughout the hotel. The most surprising thing was how she managed to be everywhere, getting everything done so easily and quickly. We originally booked the hotel for one night, but we didn't want to leave, so we extended our stay for another day. Thank you, I highly recommend it, we will definitely be back.

SakuramodThe property is centrally located on the island. Motorbikes are available for rent at 300 THB, though the one we received seemed to have been in a prior accident, making it difficult to ride as it constantly pulled to the left. The location is convenient, with restaurants within walking distance, and a shuttle service is also provided.
The bedroom and bathroom were clean, but the bathroom did have a slight drain odor. The room itself had no offensive smell, but wasn't particularly fresh-smelling either. The bathroom floor was quite slippery, so caution was needed when walking. The wall-mounted shower had very weak water pressure; a standard shower head would be a significant improvement. Interestingly, the water pressure at the sink and from the bidet sprayer was strong.
The room lighting was rather dim and yellowish. The TV was unusable due to intermittent signal (this was in our family room).
Breakfast included congee, bread, coffee, and Ovaltine.

San Sanich
This unusual camping hotel in tents offers a unique outdoor experience in Thailand, where adventure and relative comfort are combined.
Mold was found in the tent, which is typical for Thailand's humid camping climate. The air conditioner is very noisy and difficult to adjust so that it does not blow directly on the sleeping place. Shared showers and toilets add to the inconvenience.
For one night, it is suitable for vivid impressions, considering the price — minimum claims. You should not stay longer because of hygiene and noise; it is better to choose a standard hotel nearby.

This property wasn't exactly on the beach, but we hired a motorcycle from them and that made the trip extra special as we could venture around the whole island conveniently
The room was quite clean however, I think the bathrooms could use a little touch up
Mosquitoes was a frequent visitor in the rooms but understandably so because of the island surroundings and that is totally understandable
I have a suggestion. They could improve the way. The window in the bathroom is designed so it's not to allow mosquitoes to fly in.
The staff who maintained this property ”at the beach” were very helpful and informative. There was also a complementary pick up & drop
Off from the pier to the property.

The hotel is decent value for money. The rooms are large but lack a closet, hangers, safe, etc. There's only a small sofa and a bed in the room. There's a balcony with a table and chairs, which is very convenient, and a small refrigerator. The air conditioning is good, but it blows directly onto the bed. The grounds are small and there's no pool. We stayed on the second floor for two days. There are probably better rooms on the ground floor.
The staff is nice but doesn't speak English; they use a translator.
There's a free shuttle to the pier.
The hotel's main advantage is the location. A 7/11 and the port are a 5-minute walk away. The beaches are all far away, so you'll need a bike as there are no taxis on the island.
Bike rentals are available for 300 baht per day.
Overall, everything is very basic, but it's fine for a couple of days, especially considering the reasonable price.

The hotel checked us in on time and doesn't allow early check in. this is alright and we understand. The motorbike rental with the hotel is cheaper than what shops offer at the Pier. I was able to rent for 300 baht while the offer at the pier was from 400 to 500 baht.

We stayed here for 11 days, during this time the room was cleaned twice, when the water/toilet paper/coffee ran out we had to beg the owner. The hotel is 2.5 km from Monkey Beach, 700 meters from Bali Hai Pier, there are many cafes/shops nearby. You can ask the owner for a bike (300) and a taxi (100). At night the music from the cafes is blaring, everything would be fine, but the singers are tone-deaf. It's nice to sit outside, but there are a lot of flies, ants and mosquitoes.
The garden is beautiful in autumn,

The hotel is located close to the pier. Check-in is strictly at 2 PM. However, you can leave your luggage and head to the beach, rent a sun lounger for 100 baht and stay there all day, as they say, but only until 4 PM. The area is beautiful, of course, with azure waters. There's a 7/11 near the hotel. You can rent a bike for 200 baht, also said to be for the whole day, but we didn't try it. What I want to say about the hotel itself is that we paid around 4-something for it, but it's not worth the money. Upon check-in, it was quite dirty, and the towel smelled awful; they replaced it with a clean one. The room has soap, shampoo, body wash, two bottles of water, and that's it. There are also two doors leading to different parts of the hotel. In the morning, I woke up to something crawling terrifyingly from one part of the room to another and got incredibly scared. A little later, I realized it was something running on the ceiling. After that, I couldn't fall back asleep. Thank goodness my husband woke up, and I felt a bit calmer.
