Holiday Inn Express & Suites SUMNER - PUYALLUP AREA by IHG
"“Mixed bag”: a “functional” place to stay! If you have business (warehouses and distribution centers all around) or needing a one night stay in this area, this HIE is all you need. for longer than a day/night, the overall stay not as good. It’s not really close to anything in Seattle or Tacoma. The freeway that provides access to I-5 + I-5 itself can be a nightmare for slow traffic. One hour plus for us to get Pike Place, leaving at 7 am Monday. Tacoma is easier; typically 30 min. Hotel is clean, 95% friendly staff; the hotel gets dinged for noises outside (sounded like someone was faintly tapping our door all night) the occasional train coming by, and one morning of poor water pressure. Turn down service is middle of the road, not picking up everything then forgot us one day. Manager on duty quick to bring us comforter for cold night there. The Latina who typically runs the breakfast on the main level is fantastic! Sweet, always smiles; she keeps that area consistently super clean snd the food fresh! Kudos for the high tech Bunn coffee maker that grinds fresh beans for each cup."

Holiday Inn Express & Suites TACOMA SOUTH - LAKEWOOD by IHG
"Very good stay, breakfast, and location. Stayed here before"
Tacoma Port Inn Fife I-5
Homewood Suites by Hilton Puyallup Tacoma
"enjoyed the two nights spent here and enjoyed speaking to the staff. Spent $170/night. I will say, for a new hotel, they do need to work on their cleanliness as there was urine on the toilet seat and hair on the floor. Furthermore, this is a pain point for American hotel chains, but they should really work on having non-processed sugar stew, as well as non-meat and dairy-based breakfast options. A simple station of pre-cut fruits would go a long way, as well as having at least one plant-based milks. These are bare minimum options that non-US hotels always have."

"We enjoy motel.6 because check in anf check out is so.simple and.easy. we just go in and show them our receipt and then get.our key and go about.our business. The rooms are.always.clean and the staff are always friendly and knowledgable.and helpful. The.only thing that is frustrsting.is.the location. Its not.the best.or.safestest neighborhood."

"The room is good, very clean, Service: Good Environment: Good Facilities: Good"
Marriott Tacoma Downtown
"It's a very new Marriott. When we checked in, we were wondering why the rating was so low. But when we checked into the room, we were pleasantly surprised. Everything else was clean, but the quilts and pillows on the two beds were messy, as if someone had just crawled out of bed. When we left, we unfortunately forgot to unplug the charging plugs for our two mobile phones and iPhone. We called them that night and planned to pick them up after leaving the national park three days later. After registering online as they asked, we heard nothing from them. We called every day after leaving the park, but there was no response. Today, I passed by the airport and went to the hotel front desk to ask again. After waiting for 20 minutes, they said they couldn't find it. This service is really bad."

"Too much noisy! Just near the interstate, can't sleep.... Horrible"
Candlewood Suites TACOMA MALL by IHG
Holiday Inn Express & Suites TACOMA by IHG
"Location is convenient for South Tacoma. Public areas and rooms clean. Not that it is a located in commercial urban area with theft, I saw a van window was broke in to and tools were stolen. If you stay anywhere, park away from the fence in well lighted area and do not leave any valuable in your vehicles. ***** and theft are problem all over many states, so must protect yourself."
Mountain Meadows Inn & Chalet Suites
"The room is large. Complete facilities The bed is comfortable to sleep. The owner is especially attentive to the breakfast, there are more provided every day. The surrounding area has an onsen to soak in and there are bonfires. The nature around is very beautiful."
Central Tacoma Homestay with Breakfast Included -Private Room-
"Cozy getaway clean welcoming tastefully decorated, hosts eager to help or offer advice."
Home2 Suites by Hilton DuPont
"We loved how big our room was. There were some random hairs here and there looked like a dog had previously stayed in the room. We were going to an event near by and decided to get a hotel so our kids could swim. The pool was freezing cold! Front desk said it’s “supposed” to be heated so that was a big bummer being it was the main reason we got a hotel. Breakfast was really not great. Stale bread and the sausage was gross."
Western Inn Lakewood
"This hotel was the worst we stayed at during this trip, bar none. There was no Wi-Fi signal at all throughout the day. We asked the front desk multiple times, and they kept blaming it on a network company malfunction, which they never resolved. Also, a strange man repeatedly knocked on the door late at night, which made us feel unsafe."
The Inn at GIG Harbor
"This is a budget hotel in the town of Gig Harbor. It's quiet, and the surrounding environment, including the hotel itself, is beautiful. A row of rooms faces west and offers views of the sunset. However, the breakfast is very basic. Even though most hotel breakfasts across the US are similar, this hotel offers very limited selections of yogurt, fruit, and jam. If you don't consider the breakfast, this hotel is a good choice."
Candlewood Suites SUMNER - PUYALLUP AREA by IHG
"We enjoyed our stay, the mini kitchen & laundry room were very nice. The location was convenient to our family who we are visiting. Just over 30 minutes to Tacoma. (An ocean view restaurant from WildFish American Grill photo)"
Best Western Premier Plaza Hotel and Conference Center
"The hotel's decor might be a bit odd; the mirror was directly facing the head of the bed. It was a little creepy at night. The hotel seems a bit old; there were no USB charging ports. The cleanliness was acceptable. Breakfast was an American-style breakfast."
