Holiday Inn Express & Suites SUMNER - PUYALLUP AREA by IHG ★★★
"Very nice hotel, clean and good breakfast. The gym is a good place to spend your night after a big meal. Front desk staff are very helpful and will try their best to address your needs. Recommended."
Whittaker's Motel & Historic Bunkhouse ★★
"Great location and environment. Near Mt Rainier National Park. Staff are helpful. The room 24 is big enough for 4 adults, if adding the coffee machine in room which is prefect."
Best Western Plus Tacoma Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is clean and the facilities are relatively new. The breakfast is great; you can even make your own waffles, which the kids loved. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including some delicious Vietnamese pho."
Comfort Inn & Suites Lakewood by Jblm ★★
"It was wonderful to have 6 EV charging stations at this motel. Even though it was only 7.3kW/hr, it is free and enough to make a huge difference on travel. I booked this location specifically for the EV charging feature. I used the J1772 charger. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast and nice to have yogurt and fruit. The only thing I would do differently is to request a top room floor. We were on the second floor and they do have high ceilings and large rooms, but the party above us was thumping on the floor, ie feet were running. We were in room 201 and I went up to 301 at 1030pm to talk to them. I told them we were getting ready for bed and it was pretty loud as they were right above our room. Although English clearly wasn't their first language, they said "oh sorry!". I thought it would start to get more quiet, but lasted until 12:30 am. Honestly, the rooms were dark with the shades closed and if they would have just turned out the lights, there would be absolutely no way anyone could be running around in the dark. That was the only thing negative was the walls/ceilings might be a little thin, but I guess it depends on your neighbors and again, my request would have been a top floor to avoid this next time. Beds were very comfortable, check in easy. And again.... Loved EV charging on site. Thank you!"
Motel 6 Tacoma, WA - Fife ★★
"Room: The room was spacious, well-laid out, and had good natural light and ventilation. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, allowing me to get a good night's sleep after a long day. The work area was spacious, with comfortable desks and chairs, and conveniently located power outlets for various electronic devices, meeting my business needs. The room was also well-insulated, with virtually no outside noise. • Facilities: The hotel has comprehensive facilities, including a well-equipped gym with a wide variety of equipment to meet basic exercise needs, allowing me to maintain my exercise routine even amidst a busy work schedule. The hotel provides free high-speed Wi-Fi, which is fast and stable, ensuring smooth operation for work emails and video conferences without any lag."
Hampton Inn & Suites Tacoma/Puyallup ★★
"They where helpful when we neeed to stay the extra night"
The Inn at GIG Harbor ★★★
"it was great except the elevator breaking down and I had to carry my luggage down."

Homewood Suites by Hilton Puyallup Tacoma
"enjoyed the two nights spent here and enjoyed speaking to the staff. Spent $170/night. I will say, for a new hotel, they do need to work on their cleanliness as there was urine on the toilet seat and hair on the floor. Furthermore, this is a pain point for American hotel chains, but they should really work on having non-processed sugar stew, as well as non-meat and dairy-based breakfast options. A simple station of pre-cut fruits would go a long way, as well as having at least one plant-based milks. These are bare minimum options that non-US hotels always have."

Holiday Inn Express & Suites TACOMA by IHG
"The room is very clean and we like it very much."
Marriott Tacoma Downtown
"It's a very new Marriott. When we checked in, we were wondering why the rating was so low. But when we checked into the room, we were pleasantly surprised. Everything else was clean, but the quilts and pillows on the two beds were messy, as if someone had just crawled out of bed. When we left, we unfortunately forgot to unplug the charging plugs for our two mobile phones and iPhone. We called them that night and planned to pick them up after leaving the national park three days later. After registering online as they asked, we heard nothing from them. We called every day after leaving the park, but there was no response. Today, I passed by the airport and went to the hotel front desk to ask again. After waiting for 20 minutes, they said they couldn't find it. This service is really bad."
Alexander's Lodge
"The landlord was very welcoming and talkative, responding quickly and resolving any issues promptly. The house was stylish. We even encountered a cat this morning! Super affectionate and adorable! The house has a pond where you can feed the fish. Breakfast is included and tastes good! It's very close to Rainier National Park. I would definitely stay here again!"

Best Western Premier Plaza Hotel and Conference Center
"Just okay. Nothing special. It’s an old hotel, but they’ve done a good job of keeping it respectable. Breakfast was fine. Coffee and tea in the room was a bonus."
