"We stayed here for one night as we were passing through on our way to CapeTown. We stayed in a lovely bungalow in the garden of the house. Very comfortable beds ond a great breakfast. The place were situated in a quiet and safe area near the Robberg island. The hosts were lovely people. Would definitely recommend this👍"

"Belle Vue Ridge is situated at the perfect location: easy access to town / Luke Vineyards / wherever you feel like going. Very private accommodation, most beautiful view. Room was warm and comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast was the best and the view from the breakfast nook was stunning. I will highly recommend Belle Vue Ridge for an awesome break away. "

"What a stunning hotel. From the moment we arrived, the welcome from Jayne and every member of staff was amazing. The whole team knew our names and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. We arrived late afternoon, so were unable to eat at the hotel that evening but Lloyd had booked us into a local restaurant. The views from the lounge area were incredible. We saw dolphins, seals and even a breaching humpback from the balcony during our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and every detail has been thought of. The second night we ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was outstanding, as was the service from Maya. All so good that we booked again for our last night. Breakfast was great and plentiful and again, service from Cindy and the other staff was first class. Every aspect of our stay was delightful and we have never been so sad to leave a property as we did when we left Walkers Beach and the team. Thank you all for a wonderful stay."

Whalesong Hotel & Spa

"The staff did their best but they couldn’t offer a reason why, in high season, I was the only guest out of 33 rooms. Maybe word has got out about the corporate indifference of the owners. The room was large but not air conditioned. The bathroom was recent, by the look of it. The electrics needed checking - I had to unplug the fridge due to the loud cracking from the socket. Breakfast wasn’t bad, though as the only guest I didn’t get the option of my choices from the buffet, which, understandably, wasn’t laid out. This was poor value for money, and I am still mystified as to how the establishment was rated 4 stars. 3 stars would have been generous for this once pleasant but now soulless establishment."

"We really enjoyed the days at Scallop. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful and there was no wish unfulfilled. The room as well as the overall estate was very clean. The breakfast I have to mention separately, it was outstanding. Thank you for the nice time we had there."

"This is a really lovely hotel with a nice bar and dining area and lovely rooms with a quality feel . They offer a laundry service at a reasonable price and staff are generally attentive , we found the manager Bryon to be attentive and able to assist when required . The bar and restaurant shuts rather early and do getting drinks late in the evening can be an issue My only negative that the breakfast service is rather slow with errors on orders placed , this needs attention and resolving , waiting 40 mins for tea and coffee is unacceptable"

"Very comfortable and clean. The two hostesses were fabulous, helpful and friendly, and coped with our desire to have breakfast outside every morning. The outside shower was a great bonus. The one downside for us was the position of the balcony in relation to other bedrooms. We could see into their bedroom and they could see into ours and observe us on the balcony."
