Koh Lipe Hotels with Private Pools

"First of all, the hotel itself is nice and close to the water with a nice view, this can be definitely recommended. But there are a couple of things that are not good. 1. A generator is running around the clock close to the entrance which vibrates through the ground. Earplugs were necessary to sleep. 2. The bar with awesome view closes 8pm already. 3. Lack of space for breakfast, you need to wait and come back until a table is free 4. E.g. Omelette is not possible to be served with vegetables at all, just egg and cheese in it, thats it. Milk, Salt, etc. needed to be refilled by actively engaging with the staff 5. The location is really far away from everything, but this is not serious as it can be considered. One night is okay, but there is not more around to be seen. Sunrise or Pattaya Beach has mu g more to offer."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location with breathtaking views. However, the only downside is the absence of a communal swimming pool. Private pools are exclusively available with pool-access rooms; standard rooms do not have them. For vacationers, please note that breakfast is à la carte when booking. In the evenings, there are several spots right next to the hotel perfect for enjoying a drink while watching the sunset. It offers excellent value for money, being slightly more affordable than Ilyn and just over a hundred meters away in terms of location."

"We had a very lovely time at Casa de Lipe. We even got engaged here so we will certainly be coming back. Pros: The staff are the loveliest people on Planet Earth No loud music at any time, very quiet Sensational food and service, very smiley staff ready to help with anything Private beach is a real bonus The setting is fabulous. Among the rainforest and with the sound of the sea rocking you to sleep Epic sunsets Great breakfasts Cons (being really picky): The air con unit in our room was a bit loud The pool in our room (honeymoon villa) was a little bit smaller than I expected The decor could be updated We’ll be coming back here time and time again for sure. "First, let's talk about the facilities. The room size was perfect for two people, and the big bed was very comfortable. Both the floor and bathroom were wooden, which was quite slippery when wearing slippers on rainy days. The biggest drawback was the lack of sufficient hot water for showering. After spending all day in the water, I was really looking forward to a hot shower in the evening, but the water was always cold and the water pressure was very low. I didn't bother complaining to the hotel, though, as fresh water is scarce on Koh Lipe, so I understand. Hygiene: The hygiene was actually quite good. Considering it's on a hillside, and there are bound to be bugs, I was pretty satisfied with how clean it was. Environment: The hotel is made up of individual villas, which offers a good level of independence and privacy. It was incredibly quiet at night. The nights I stayed there, it rained heavily with thunder and lightning every day, but the next morning the air was fresh and the sun was bright, which was truly wonderful. Service: Overall, the service was great, especially the room service and the staff who came to light mosquito coils; they were all very polite. One of the best things was that my pool villa faced an uninhabited island. It was only about a fifteen-minute kayak ride away, and the snorkeling there was absolutely beautiful! There were all sorts of small fish underwater, perfect for a beginner like me. I even learned how to use a snorkeling mask and a snorkel there. The hotel's beach was a bit small, but the sand was very white and fine, better than anywhere else on the island."

"This is a simply gorgeous hotel! We were absolutely delighted! One of the best on the island. The rooms are large, clean, modern, and have everything you need: robes, a hairdryer, even very comfortable slippers. We wanted to know where to buy some. 😁 The room has a refrigerator, air conditioning, a ceiling fan in the room and on the veranda, a safe, and even mosquito repellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a free taxi for dinner from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. At other times, they can call a taxi for you for 100 baht. They also pick you up and take you to the port for free. The breakfasts are delicious; you order from the menu. The beach is small but secluded; to the right of it, the best beach on the island is a 3-minute walk over rocks when the tide is low and along the shore when the tide is low. The hotel also provides free snorkeling masks, kayaks, and paddleboards."
