Romantic Hotels in Koh Lipe

"Summary: the hotel charged heavily for it, but didn't live up to its 5-star rating, rather a 3-star. Main reasons: Maintance not enough, everything seemed worn and in need of repair. Beds (round) were terrible, very hard and the round shape is useless for a tall person. Pillows were the worst. Pool wasn't kept clean and also not full, so not infinity , as intended and described. First few days the phone wasn't working, so didn't feel secure, in case of emergency. The style of the restaurant wasn't attractive in comparison with others on the island. Also missing spa/gym/massage offers, not in Thailand. No body lotion in the bathroom, not OK for a premium hotel. Wrong instruction for the safe. Positive: the staff, very friendly and helpful, but some seemed not trained enough for a 5-star hotel. Location and the beach was amazing. Breakfast and laundry service was good. Nice layout of the villa. Loved to have our own pool and secluded beach area."
