"Wonderful hospitality from the young owners . Right from the start they made us feel welcome at their beautiful lodge. A lovely and tranquil place with views of two volcanoes and a great place to explore the beautiful area. Macarena and Rodrigo were very friendly and always willing to help. For example they made the booking for us to do the Llanquihue lake catamaran cruise the following day and gave us good references to nearby restaurants. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread/ local strawberries and eggs from their own hens! I'd suggest insect screen on the windows and improving the main street signage to make it easier to find the place. Thank you so much to you both, highly recommended!"

Hotel Museo El Greco Puerto Varas ★★★★

Wyndham Puerto Varas Pettra ★★★★★
"This hotel is a total rip-off. Despite its five-star rating, the facilities are outdated, resembling a guesthouse from ten or twenty years ago in China. The bathtub drainage is extremely poor; after a short rinse, the water is already above your ankles. The breakfast is mediocre, with limited choices. We were given a room on the second floor, which offers a view of the volcano, but you have to walk to a specific angle near the window to see it. The three elevators are decent, although one of them has a strong, unpleasant odor from cooking oil. Both the restaurant and the rooms offer views of the lake and the volcano. The restaurant prices are reasonable, not expensive."

"The room was small but very clean and nice. The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. I want to highlight the breakfast, which was very good and plentiful. The only slight drawback was the parking, which is too small, so you have to leave your keys so they can move your car. We had a lovely stay."

Hotel Bellavista ★★★★
"The hotel itself was lovely and very warm and comfy. The restaurant isn't in the same building, but not a drama, but for our supper we got charged nearly 100 thousand pesos, ny partners had eaten his food before I got my steak, out potatoes and chips were cold, and by time my steak finally arrived my chips were totally cold. Breakfast was fine and plentiful."

Hotel Dreams de Los Volcanes - Puerto Varas ★★★★
"Excellent Location, quite adequate price for the service. The administrative staff is too friendly, from the reception to the guards, too concerned and empathetic. Likewise, I want to highlight the excellent service of Ms. Pamela Vargas, Nadia Rojas and Erika Hernandez, at reception. I recommend this hotel 100% for its human quality, something that is not found in all places these days and is invaluable. The facilities, warmth of the service (wonderful breakfast buffet) and cleanliness, worthy of a 5-star hotel."

Puerto Chico Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is well located, close to several restaurants and bars and about a 20-minute walk to the center. The room (I stayed on the first floor) is very good, it just doesn't have air conditioning. The breakfast is excellent, with a lot of variety. And guests have a discount at the restaurant next door, which is very good and the price is great because of this."
