We went to the beach on the first day for a swim, sang barbecue in the villa at night, and went to the island on the second day when we woke up. Overall, it is more convenient and the location is better. Although it is not better than the high-end villas outside, there is such a house in Xiachuan Island that you can live in a family. It is a bit far from restaurants. You will have to drive. It has table tennis which you are allowed to play for an hour each day. Breakfast has some variety, however they do not change their menu in our 3 nights there. It is an older hotel but clean and comfortable. Views of the rice farm are incredible from our room. Reception do not speak English.
