"The hotel is right in the center of town. The town is charming with lots of shops and restaurants, mostly revolving around wine. Be sure to climb the bell tower next door -- go to the nearby tourist center for the key -- for incredible views of the town and countryside. The rooms, dining areas, light fixtures and everything in the hotel are spectacular. My only gripe is that we had to take 3 elevators and walk pretty far to reach our room. So make sure not to leave anything behind because you won't feel like going back."

"This place is situated in a very small village with a vinyard as nearest neighbour and vines as far as your eye can see. Of course it's not a five star hotel, but the rooms have space and contain all we need, and are clean. Hassan, the host, makes everything for you to have a good time. He makes breakfast or a three dishes dinner in the evening if you want to. And he provides his own taxi service and bike renting. The five stars we give are based on his hospitality and the environment around. Sitting in the garden seeing the sun go down over the vines with his excellent food and a glass of wine, is a great experience. "

"Slice of heaven! This was our favorite part of our trip to France this summer! Clos 1906 is a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the spectacular vineyards of St. Emilion. Fantastic hosts that make you feel so welcome and serve delicious breakfasts in the morning. Their vintage shop is a must visit! Our only regret was not staying longer. We hope to return someday! "Stayed here one night and everything worked smoothly and flexibly. Jess organised our wishes in a friendly manner, breakfast at the garden ( also a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine from the region in a shade ) was a lovely highlight to finish a perfect stay in Saint-Émilion. All the city sights and many chateau's are within walking distance. The room was well-equipped and had everything that is needed for a short stay. Very informative approach from the begin with and all the tips and recommendations were shared during our visit. Can't wait to return one day to this gorgeous place."
