Mediterranea Hotel & Convention Center ★★★★
"Nice location"
Hotel Montestella ★★★★
"Located a 10-minute walk from the train station, the pedestrian street is well-paved, making it easy to drag suitcases. Both sides are lined with upscale shops and restaurants, creating a pleasant environment. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach. Transportation is very convenient, and it's also close to the ferry terminal. The room was larger than expected, easily accommodating two 28-inch suitcases. The staff were flexible and welcoming; since we couldn't have breakfast, they prepared a light meal for us to take away and provided plenty of drinks and water."
Hotel Plaza ★★★
"The hotel exceeded expectations and was very convenient. It is visible right after exiting the train station, about 100 meters away. It is located at the starting point of the pedestrian street and is the best-looking building within sight. The room is quite spacious for 3 people and 3 large suitcases can be fully opened. There are many places to eat around and there is also a snack bar run by Chinese people next to it, where you can eat fried noodles and fried rice. The pier is also very close, but this pier only goes to Positano and Amalfi. To go to Capri, you have to go to another large pier about 2 kilometers away. We walked briskly along the coast for more than 20 minutes. Be sure to leave enough time. There are only 2 boats a day in the peak season, and there will be no boats if you miss them."
Suite 39 B&B ★★★
"An absolute gem in Salerno—the best hotel of my trip! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The location in Salerno is absolutely perfect, making it so easy to explore. Honestly, not going to lie, this is hands-down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Italy! The room was incredibly well-equipped with everything I could possibly need, and the entire property was spotlessly clean and beautiful. I am so grateful for the wonderful stay and the hospitality. An overall fantastic hotel—I can't wait to come back!"
Grand Hotel Salerno ★★★★
"Good location in front of the sea and close to center. Although breakfast was just ok..."
ViaRomaHome ★★★★
"Louisa was an exceptional host. Her apartment was outstanding, very modern, luxurious and spotless. She met us at the door, explained things very well, helped us to book a taxi to the train station, did our washing and provided us with tape when our suitcase cracked. Great location with plenty of restaurants to choose from and a 5 minute walk to the waterfront. I highly recommend her apartments. Regards Kylie and Hans"
Quattro Briganti ★★★
"Great location, not far from the centre of town. The hotel was very clean as were the rooms. Would definitely recommend."
SALERNUM Luxury apartments ★★★
"A very welcoming and clean mini hotel. It feels like home. The rooms are labeled mini apartments with private bathrooms and all the comforts, making it feel like home."
Novotel Salerno Est Arechi ★★★★
"Asian face, Chinese passport, and you gave me the first room on the second floor by the elevator? That girl at the front desk is quite interesting. The parking lot is empty, so the rooms should be proportionally occupied. With so many empty rooms, why did you give me room 201? Very interesting. Actually, the other staff were quite nice, but that girl at the front desk was the odd one out. I think you get what I mean. The hotel is a bit far away; I didn't research the location carefully before booking. If you're taking a bus to the train station, you'll find more black and white drivers. You'll have to decide for yourself."

Salerno Nel Cuore
"100% recommendable. The owners were very attentive, from the moment we arrived until the very last moment. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed. It was located in a wonderful city; I highly recommend it."
Hotel Bruman Salerno
"Wow !!!"
Dimora Rhea
"This b&b is phenomenal! Located in the heart of Salerno, right in the historic center, the location is strategic for visiting the most beautiful beaches of the coast during the day and enjoying the city in the evening. The room was beautiful, clean, tidy, furnished with care and class and the hosts are incredibly kind. Keep it up!"
B&B Salernoway
"Rudeness and lack of professionalism. I asked for availability for one night, and they quickly responded that they had availability and the price. I confirmed everything shortly after. 24 hours passed, and they didn't send me a confirmation, so I sent a message to ask, and they replied that they no longer had availability. I've never experienced such rudeness and lack of professionalism."
Luxury B&B Charlemagne
"Quiet place! The hotel is clean and good for a great price"
B&B Salernow2
"A very basic guesthouse for our overnight needs. We booked a unit with sea view but the elevator was spoilt and it was no way for us to carry our luggage to 7th floor. Also it was raining heavily during our check in hence we accepted the landlord suggestion for an alternative guesthouse nearby which he guided us over WhatsApp video. Due to water pressure issue, you need to wait for 2 mins for hot water provision, which you need to turn on both shower and sink at the same time. Breakfast was surprisingly a good spread for a guesthouse."
Cas’ A Mare - Beachfront Luxury Suites
"We would highly recommend this accommodation. Clean/Comfortable and a fabulous view - just like the photograph .. road outside, but it is not noisy nor particularly busy. Salerno port is near, but the rooms are more than far enough away from it for the sea to be clean and beautifully clear. The local bus (2 mins from room) - easy easy - to get to the port of Salerno (20mins?) ... from where you can get local ferries .. we went to Positano/Capri and Amalfi from there. Salerno old town, quaint and 'real' with 'proper local' vibe - not touristy and thus not as expensive as Sorrento/Positano etc - the cathedral is certainly worth a visit. There are local cafes near to the accommodation and also supermarket (3 mins walk - very handy) .. Pepe Nero restaurant excellent (5 mins walk). The train station is near and from there you can get to Pompei (which we did - and was excellent). The icing on the cake is the owner, Francesca ... Customer Service and Care levels are excellent .. she is willing to assist with absolutely anything and everything that you might need ... she even kept an eye on train and bus strike information before and during our visit in order to keep us informed ... and for example, arranged taxi to meet us from the ferry port because, due to the weather, the boat was returning later than the last bus. She is kind, caring and 'always available' should you need her advice or help. We had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay here ... you wont be disappointed. More Date of stay: October 2025"
Casa Dell'Artista 2
"Charming room and friendly host. Everything was very organised. Thanks Stany"
Casa Santangelo Suites
"If you like walking on the cobblestone road with your heavy luggage for a while and then going upstairs with your luggage, if you like old and dim B&Bs, if you like the hot water in your shower to turn cold after a while, then this hotel is for you."
See the Sea B&B
"The location is perfect, very close to the pier, so we could easily catch the ferries to Salerno, Positano, Capri, and Amalfi. There are also many restaurants and places to sample the local cuisine near the hotel. The room we had was very clean and spacious. The only thing they don't mention is that the bathroom is outside the room (it's still private, but there's another room in the same hallway). Luckily, when we stayed, there was no one in the other room, and we felt completely comfortable."
Donna Giulia, Luxury House
"Parking was a bit difficult, had to park off site and ranges from $25-$35 a night. The B&B staff were not always available, it had a beautiful view of the water and promenade, but it was not disclosed that there was scaffolding and netting obscuring the view, the building was a bit dirty and rat traps all over. A lot of this was because of a current renovation in the process. The room it’s self was very nice. The staff was very nice. The location was great. Overall this would be an ok place to stay when it is completed"
