"Pros - close to the park and close enough to go for food at night. Breakfast was nice and not to busy if you go at 8am. Expect to queue otherwise Cons - we did the roulette but they didn't even tell us which hotel we were in. We ended up just turning up to el paso and finding that we were meant to be staying there. They also failed to send through our room number and then to top it off after giving details to reception for our pickup car the security refused entry because they hadn't been sent through. Pool side loungers were really uncomfortable. Toilet paper was worse than the 2 star budget we stayed in next and some toiletries that were meant to be provided were empty. I wouldn't class this as a 4star hotel and we didn't even visit in peak season so some of the above isn't something I would expect."

"Excellent inexpensive hotel. 15 minutes walk to Port Aventura. The price included half board and it was worth the money. There is a lot of different food. At breakfast, if you come late, you will probably have to stand in line. A lot of children, family hotel. The downside for me was the service in the dining room. First, you can’t wait for the waiter to bring water (it’s paid for at dinners). But as soon as you leave for 30 seconds to get your food, the waiters have already cleared your table with all the food on the plates without even asking. And this happened more than once. The room had a bit dirty floors. No blankets, but warm. Overall would stay again."

"Great location with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Beach is clean and lots of beach bars offering refreshments. Good friendly vibe and a welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are clean and regularly refreshed with clean towels and bedding. The one down side was only bbc news on TV channel .Food in hotel was lovely with a good choice to cater for all. The pool was clean and attended by a life saving attendant. Would have been better if the use of inflatables for children had been allowed. Overall good value for money."

"Can’t recommend this hotel enough, location , staff and service was amazing. It is abit on a hill, but this didn’t bother me at all. I had the breakfast included and was so pleased, so much to choose from! Staff were super friendly and room was cleaned daily. I did not have the sea view but had a lovely view of palm trees from my room which always had a nice breeze coming. Loved every bit and will most likely stay here again when I visit Salou. Thanks for amazing service 4R Playa Park Hotel."

"Where do I start...... I came in sep 2025 and rated this hotel a 4 star as it was perfect from food to rooms, location. I came back to the same hotel fot the above reasons. How disappointed am I. .. 1st couldn't open fridge door went to reception to tell them ( as the room phone doesn't work) only to be told NOW you have to pay to get the fridge open. I said OK how much?? €2 per night. OK I won't use it tonight or my last night so I said I'll book it for 5 nights only to be told oh you can't have it for 5 nights minimum of 7 nights, so not €2 a night €14 minimum. 2nd if you want hot food forget it, it's not even warm food comes out cold and they hope the food warmer heats it up, there is a microwave but I think it must run on coal as you can put your food in and wait 10 mins and get warm food. Massive queue for toaster. Coffee machine and juice machine. So even if you manage to get slightly warm food by the time you queue for coffee your food is stone cold, if you get your coffee 1st then you food the coffee is stone cold. And if you want ice cream it's melted so they can't keep anything cold as well as not keeping anything hot. The place is a joke Entertainment....... what Entertainment NONE unless you like 1 game of bingo or a Spanish disco I booked half board but hat to spend a lot extra on eating out .so my advice would to be book room only and plan to eat out. On the plus side the location is still good."

"We had a fabulous time at this hotel and really couldn’t fault a thing. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, giving us all the info we needed and answering all of our questions. The hotel, rooms and restaurant were kept so spotless. Breakfast was great with plenty of options (we didn’t have dinner or lunch so can’t comment on that) but also snacks served during the day were so tasty, and great value for money. Drinks served at the bar were great too, lovely choice of cocktails and beers. Location of the hotel was great. We will definitely return!"

"Hello! We stayed at this hotel from July 25th to August 5th, 2025! The hotel is very conveniently located, both to the beach and to the Bus Plana bus stop! It's also very easy to get to the amusement park and the airport! The service is also excellent! The staff is friendly and quickly resolves issues! Everyone goes out of their way! I definitely recommend it! A solid 4-star."
