Hotel Best San Francisco
"Hello! We stayed at this hotel from July 25th to August 5th, 2025! The hotel is very conveniently located, both to the beach and to the Bus Plana bus stop! It's also very easy to get to the amusement park and the airport! The service is also excellent! The staff is friendly and quickly resolves issues! Everyone goes out of their way! I definitely recommend it! A solid 4-star."
PortAventura Hotel - Includes unlimited access PortAventura Park & 1 access Ferrari Land
"Everything was perfect but TRIP told me that breakfast was €10 per person and finally they charged us €12 per person (€6 more than what is indicated on the TRIP website)."
Hotel Best Los Angeles
"It is a very good hotel. Very good location, rooms are clean and functional, regularly cleaned. Food is fine, it is tasty and there are various dishes to choose, plenty of fruit and vegetables, various meat dishes etc. People in the hotel are friendly and ready to help but their knowledge of english is really basic. If you leave before breakfast hours they will not prepare a lunch packet for you. In general it was a very pleasant stay for us and i would recommend it for a family vacation."
Hotel Best Oasis Park
"40 minutes before check-out time a cleaner entered our room without asking if anyone was there or knocking on the door. It seems totally disrespectful to me, I was still only half dressed. Otherwise perfect, food good, facilities too, cleaning good although there were some orange stains on the bidet that rubbed with your finger, which indicates that they have not cleaned it very thoroughly... Also, it is a family hotel, full of children The pool is obviously full of children too, if you have children it is a good place, if not it can be a bit overwhelming."
PortAventura Hotel Roulette - Unlimited access to PortAventura Park & 1 access to Ferrari Land
"When we first arrived in the room, it had not been cleaned. We had to wait for four hours until it was cleaned after returning from the park. The outdoor swimming pool was out of service for the whole day. The repair kept being delayed, and if it takes much longer, we may consider going to a water park instead. The water supply was suddenly cut off without any prior notification. This was very disappointing and shows poor hotel management."
Num Hotel
"Located in the heart of the old town of Salou, there are parking spaces around the hotel, which are free in winter. The hotel restaurant has a good environment and the automatic juicer is very novel. The room is suitable."
Hotel Best Punta Dorada
"Beautiful sea and swimming pool view. Close to Portaventuraworld. On the other hand, noisy, restaurant in the basement, mediocre dinner and no parking space."
Hotel Best San Diego
"Stayed here 9-16 may, really nice hotel, food was good always something to eat and we enjoyed the cocktails. Beds were comfortable and was spotlessly clean, however due to rain storms prior to our stay the room stank of drains! We did report this to reception and other to spraying the room each day there wasn’t a lot they could do?? They offered to move us but this was difficult as the hotel was fully booked and we liked our room (free safe and a fridge) the staff were all brilliant a member of the dining room staff saw my husband was disabled and carried our drinks to our table, but I must give a massive shout out to David at the bar, he went above and beyond! Would stay again if it wasn’t so smelly!"
Santa Monica Playa
"Nice hotel.... perfectly clean. Friendly staff. There were many children's groups on excursions. Breakfast from 8.00-10.00 more than plentiful))))) The rooms are renovated. Thank you, blessings!"

Golden Acqua Salou
"Christine on reception was above and beyond. We did not get our pool view room but she worked it the next day so we did. Big shout out to you. Thank you. We also had a problem with our air-con not working but it was fixed within a couple of hours. Keira -well I have never seen someone work so hard. Great nights in the hotel, well done Keira. Hotel was lovely. Very clean but we found pool area small and they need more than one person behind the bar in the evenings. Especially if cocktails were ordered. The wait was long. All staff were friendly. Good buffet breakfast everyday with a breakfast chef making fresh omelettes, pancakes, toasties etc. we tried the food in the evening a couple of times. I wasn’t overly keen. Paid 20.00 euros each for that as we were only B&B. Lovely Irish restaurant over the road. The hill to the beach and town was tough on the way back on us oldies so beware! Overall it was a lovely hotel to stay but the area was noisy at night."
Golden Costa Salou - Adults Only
"Adults only Non Smokers Hotel. Let's forget for a second you cant smoke even in your tiny balcony. Adults only, no kids around, right opposite hotel was family based and everyone was smocking in their balcony. Rooms were clean ish, we would have coffee in the balcony. And after day of exploration around, we would find our dirty mugs on the table. Room service didnt take them. The main manager in reception was really rude, was shouting on staff in front of the guests, not professional at all. Was feeling sorry for ladies. Overall staff looked super tired, irritated, not friendly at all. Food in the restaurant was so repetitive and not really exciting. Drinks was OK, cant complain for Spain. Had a roof top pool where you cant smoke either, neither listen music. Silence. Like a retirement retreat center. The entertainment lady was fun, she is like on metabolic all day long. Would I recommend this hotel for stay ? Run ! Don't take it for any occasion."
Hotel Jaime I
"Quite satisfied ☺️."
Aparthotel Cye Holiday Centre
"Approx. a 10 min slow walk direct to the beach and the large Salou sign, far enough back away from the strip for peace and quiet from the evening buzz. Great family atmosphere, brilliant all day entertainment for all the family, very very tasty food in the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Room was very clean and suited well to our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids (including a 15 year old)). Great value for money if full board. My only issue was the drinks not included outside of breakfast time. Would 100% come back in future."
PortAventura Hotel El Paso - Includes unlimited access PortAventura Park & 1 access Ferrari Land
"The hotel has a retro style. If you're considering the shortest route from the amusement park, if you plan to visit the amusement park, you probably won't enjoy many of the hotel's amenities. However, the hotel is unique in that it doesn't have a refrigerator. Otherwise, if you don't want to walk that far, this hotel is a good choice."
Ona Jardines Paraisol
"Very well equipped apartment with everything you need and very cozy"
Htop Molinos Park #HtopEnjoy
"The hotel is very comfortable and in a quiet area, everything is very clean and the staff are great. Breakfast more than correct."
Hotel Best Mediterraneo
"Had an amazing holiday! Started off half board but upgraded to all inclusive. Food was really nice always something for us all to eat and always enjoyed it, a good choice of drinks (good priced too if you are half board) ice cream are available all day and we're cornettos, ice lolly's or like magnums. Rooms were clean and cleaned every day, wardrobe space was a little tight but ok. Entertainment man was very energetic and lovely. The sunbed situation...not a problem!! I was worried as we went school holidays so expected mayhem but it wasnt! Pool opened at 10, queues started about 9.40am then the doors opened and there was a barrier you waited at until 10am, however beds still available throughout the day and loads of beds stacked up you just need to find a place to put them, not having sunbed wars just made the holiday loads better for us, no having to get up at stupid oclock for a sunbed. Loads of sun around the pool and one side had shade, the pool bar is half shade half sun so perfect and loads of seating, it would of been better if you could get outside in the morning before 10am to sit around pool bar until pool opened but the door is locked, after breakfast we had nowhere to go. No balls (except blow up balls) are allowed around the pool, the life guard will have you for it, it was entertaining though watching people having a ball knowing he was coming for them, we got told off too haha The strip of shops is behind the hotel come out go left down the little hill, left again then you are there. I do think the food made while you wait in the restaurant could of been made up already cooked, it was literally made to order so you were stood waiting a while, couldn't be bothered to wait and sometimes a queue which wasn't great as at no other point were we queuing for food so always had hot food which was really good. Thanks fpr the birthday wine and message, that was really nice. All in we had an amazing time and we'd defo go back!"
Hotel Planas
"The menu is very limited and very repetitive, the same at lunchtime as at dinnertime. The beds are very small and the mattresses are very hard. The cleaning is terrible, sand in the shower and lots of fluff on the floor. The good thing is the location and the pool is fine."
Magnolia Hotel - Adults Only
"The staff is very nice and smiling. We were upgraded because the electric charging station was not working. A very nice gesture from the hotel. The spacious room as well as the bathroom. The bedding is comfortable. On the other hand, there is a soundproofing problem, we can really hear the neighbors a lot. There was also a lack of a privacy screen on the terrace to have more privacy with the neighboring room. On the other hand, the breakfast is really very good and varied."
Hotel California Garden
"We stayed here for 1 week with our 4 children. The main thing that attracted us to this hotel was the 3 day pass for port a Ventura / Ferrari land. We found the hotel clean and reception staff on arrival really helpful. As we have 6 in our family, we had to get two rooms. I did request adjoining rooms, pool view and low floor but was aware I may not receive all these requests. We were originally going to be floor 1 and floor 3. However the reception lady managed to re jig the rooms to put us next door to each other on floor 2 which we really appreciated. The corridors to the rooms are really dull but clean. I got a surprise at how small the rooms were. Like tiny. No kettle or things to make lunch (we were half board). There was a safe but we didn’t use it, we just locked our valuable things away. There was a fridge that we managed to open with a struggle. Unsure if this is because we had to pay for it, we never. We had 3 single beds in each room and bathroom was satisfactory. However to be honest, we were only using our room as a base. Maids came each day that we put our sign out for them to come and renewed the towels / toilet roll / made the beds. Air conditioning in rooms also. As we were half board we only got breakfast and dinner. It was BEDLAM. Super busy. Food for breakfast was usual things. Sausages were questionable but edible. Tea / coffee / hot chocolate and fruit juices in the morning. Dinner was the same. Mental busy. Food was again, edible. Not really a big option for kids. A lot of meats and fish. My kids lived off chips. No juice available at dinner unless you buy from the bar. We got Pepsi for 2 euros each which was reasonable. The hotel was over populated with Spanish guests from around 60 + years old The Spanish guests were the rudest people I have ever came across. They were so entitled, rude, arrogant and totally put us off.. They don’t get the que etiquette. Continuously shoving past to get their food, including shoving my children. Snarling at the British guests and don’t know how to smile. There were two pools. Shallow initially then got deep. Adults could stand in deep end but too deep for kids. I was constantly on edge make sure my younger children didn’t go too far into the deep end. It would have been good if there was a pool for wee ones or the pools sectioned off the deep end. Both pools were absolutely freezing but I suppose that’s the same anywhere. Sun bed gate was the same as every hotel abroad. We went out after breakfast to get ones closest to the pool so we could watch our children in the pool. Sun doesn’t reach the pool area until around 12pm. There is a pool bar that sells chips , hot dogs , burger , sandwiches , alcohol and juice etc. reasonably priced. Music around the pool was Spanish until our last two days when most of the Spanish guests were away then it changed to British music. No pool side entertainment apart from tombola for 20 mins. Evening entertainment was horrific. Not catered"
Hotel Best Cap Salou
"The hotel is good, but the overcrowding in the common areas makes it horrible to go down to the dining room, it is excessive. The bathroom leaked water and made a constant noise. Otherwise it is well located and quality-price is good."
Hotel Las Vegas
"Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed, noise, walls are thin be prepared for no sleep, you can hear everything snoring all night. toilet flushing talking, bed squeaking also bad smell, food not great fish & meat all undercooked I had a bad stomach ended up eating out. Hotel is on a hill so not good if disabled or struggle with walking, there is a door at bottom of the hill but doesn’t work most of the time. Reception staff rude be prepared to stand & wait while they serve you then go do something else or serve other people & just leave you waiting unless your Spanish, found them not friendly or helpful at all, staff in the restaurant worked very hard. Lifts are too small for size of hotel & stairs can be quite slippery due to marble tiles, although they do look beautiful. View from our room was a building, swimming pool areas are nice & hotel entrance was lovely but could not wait to leave"
Ponient Marinada by PortAventura World
"Do not stay here!!!! Had to change room due to a cockroach infestation in the room. Then the kids club is exclusive to tui customers so my son got refused although I booked it as there was a kids club. And then the final straw was ther apartments are full to the brim with 18 year olds partying f and causing chaos. As soon as. One group go there is another group just as quick check in. Not suitable for families at all!!!"
Ponient Dorada Palace by PortAventura World
"Travelled as a family of 6. 4 adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 3. Half board for 7 nights. The location of the hotel is great and the rooms are clean with a decent sized balcony. Childrens entertainment is on a par with other hotels. Food is a bit bizarre, the breakfast is fine but dinner is just weird. The food doesnt really compliment each other i.e chicken wings and mashed potato or noodles and fish in a sauce. Always plenty pizza, burgers, salad etc though. The queues really let this hotel down and with some tweaks it could be much better. The queue for sunbeds in the morning begins at 8am and doors get unlocked by staff at 9am and the benny hill show begins. By 9.01 no beds left, people jumpimg over walls in a frenzy and allsorts. Someone on another review said there is a queue for a queue at this hotel and they are spot on. There is a constant queue to get drinks and its more frustrating if youre not all inclusive as staff seem to go out there way to go slow to the all inclusive guests. There is always a queue at the lifts. There is a queue to get a drink with the evening meal which usually ends up in people giving up. I would potentially return to this hotel as we did get a good deal so I suppose the holiday is what you make of it."
Aparthotel SunClub Salou
"Review is for food at bar only. 14 year old niece ordered food and was over charged, She told them she had been over charged but they told her no she was wrong. I then went to the bar, handed over the receipt and they refunded the overcharge without question. She had ordered chicken wings one of which was raw, I took them back to complain and was offered a new chicken wing? At not point did anyone apologise. I am disgusted that they clearly knew they had over charged a young adult and served undercooked food"
