Scenic Hotels in Leipzig

"The hotel is in the city center, with nice interior decoration and low-key appearance. I found the hotel only when I arrived at the door. Because I arrived on Sunday, there were few people in the city center and almost all businesses were closed. On Monday, the market near the hotel opened, which was really lively. It is very convenient to go everywhere. I basically walked to all the attractions. I like the Bach Museum the most. It is really enjoyable to listen to Bach's works with headphones!"

"The room is big. Unfortunately we didn’t know that we have to take executive rooms in order to have the access to executive boardroom. Could be better if it specifies at the booking page. But overall it was a pleasant stay."

"The hostel itself is very nice but in an old building where the stairs and the room floor are making noises. The courtyard was closed on my second night so it was quit to have some sleep. The rooms have lockers which is very nice but there aren‘t sockets on every bed. A curtain would be nice too. Don‘t know why german hostels are not having any curtains. It was of course very hot inside but it was a cooler day so leaving the windows open was at least an option. Some guests were loud and running up and down the stais. I suggest to tell the people during check in to keep their voices down during quit time. They have coffee and breakfast which was good."

"Located in the heart of Leipzig, right outside the door are the theater, concert hall, and a major transport hub. For most travelers, this location alone is the biggest advantage. The overall design is a minimalist, sleek German modern style, with bright spaces, generally spacious rooms, and good soundproofing, giving off a quiet, efficient, yet understated quality vibe."

"The INNSiDE Leipzig enjoys an excellent location, tucked neatly between the historic market square, the old town, and a more contemporary quarter brimming with restaurants and cafés. It’s a strong base for exploring the city on foot, whether your interest lies in culture, shopping, or dining. We didn’t opt for the hotel breakfast, and honestly, there’s no need to. The surrounding area offers plenty of breakfast options. That said, quality varies — a few places are solid, while others are best avoided, so a bit of online scouting is advisable. The hotel itself is functional and in good repair. It’s clean, straightforward, and unpretentious — not luxurious, but not run-down either. One design choice I could do without is the glass-walled showers. They’re the fully transparent sort, which lack privacy and seem more decorative than practical. A door wouldn’t go amiss. Air conditioning is adequate but not strong. During our June visit it was just sufficient. If you’re visiting during a hotter spell — say, in August — you might find it underwhelming. That said, Leipzig isn’t known for oppressive heat. We parked in a nearby public parking facility for €20 per day. It’s a short walk from the hotel and, in our view, the more sensible choice compared to the hotel’s own parking offering. Stay here for the location and cleanliness. Skip the breakfast, be ready for the odd bathroom layout, and use public parking. It’s a solid, no-frills choice — just don’t expect charm or luxury."
