The room was spacious enough for three people and was very clean and well-maintained. "The hotel boasts over 100 years of history and has hosted the Emperor. The ambiance is truly excellent. The room was quite large, and the Western-style bed was very comfortable, with a tatami mat, making it spacious enough for three people. The food was decent, but not amazing. We visited during crab season. The hot springs are truly wonderful, with several indoor and outdoor pools. The soaks leave your skin feeling smooth, and afterward, you're provided with drinkable hot spring water and a variety of Japanese teas. The shoe storage area at the entrance is a UV sterilizer—a nice touch!"
