Spa hotels in Aquitaine

The hotel is just as amazing as we expected. The room was cozy and clean. We loved the spa facilities, sauna and hammam (the pool temperature could be even warmer). Service was great too. Parking was available for 17 euro for the whole stay (1 night). It's just at the seafront and you could walk out to the beach from the hotel spa/pool. Services were exceptional too. There are room service available and also two restaurants (menu seemed nice, with vegetarian options but we didn't have the chance to try it). Will recommend it!

Amazing location, in the middle of the vineyard. But be careful - in room 220 we didn't have a hot water, check it first. Service and staff not like in a 5 star hotel, overpriced. Restaraunt is really good, can recommend. Stuff during breakfast didn't speak english, so it was quite hard to order eggs or smth more than pastries.

With the good weather, this is a perfect resort hotel, except for the overall time, but it is old money. The lake view is very photogenic, that is, you can't look at it carefully, and I feel that the lake water is a bit eutrophic. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to Biarritz train station and airport to pick up people, but we don't know, but also stupidly take the bus and taxi. Without experiencing breakfast and water house, I personally feel that living in a superior room is good enough.

Great, bright friendly rooms and a rooftop highlight: restaurant, outdoor lounges and swimming pool with great views. Previous staff. The baggage service and parking service are taken over for the deep garage! Good location: everything is reachable on foot. Had liked to extend - the hotel was unfortunately booked. First time to Bordeaux to participate in the red wine marathon. These are two things I like! The inefficiency, relaxation and slightly arrogant attitude of the French are the reasons why I don't like them. This restaurant turned out to be a Japanese restaurant. It's not bad if you can choose the wine you like, but there was no hot main course. As an exception, I was given a bowl of French-Japanese style Chinese vegetable noodles! Finally, the next day, my Boston Marathon commemorative jacket was gone. In addition, I was overcharged by more than 2,700 euros at the checkout. They said it was a mistake. At first, they refused to give me the bill. In the end, I found out that it was a mistake. I almost called the police before they admitted their mistake. This issue has always been in a state of inconclusiveness. Ctrip's communication is also pale and powerless. It seems that Ctrip is not influential enough overseas, especially in Europe. By the way, the parking fee is 40 euros per night...

The place is considered new and well constructed. However, we are not too impressed with the wine tour they have provided. We were arriving quite early and was offered a free wine tasting and that was excellent. However, we had extra time and decided to went for a wine tour costing 10 euros per person (30 in total) and all the guy did was just walked us to a small chapel within the property ( no wineyard no fermenting process, no nothing just BS story about how the chateau was taken over by generations). It left us bad impression at the checkin and we were hoping the hotel is more considerable.

Maison Chiberta had very lovely staff! They were doing an exceptional job in the heat!! Our room was stylish but lacked storage, but very lovely and clean and that’s probably our fault for booking a small room. The breakfast wasn’t fantastic and there were a lot of flies around the food all morning, no fly nets were used by the hotel for some reason. It feels like some of the hotel eg. The rooms, has been renovated to a very high standard. But then other areas were completely lacking. No AC or fans in communal areas and the gym for example was very hot and the floor wasn’t grippy so it was very slippy in there. I’m not sure we would stay again but we did love the area with our car. I would realistically say it is a 3 star hotel with 4 star potential.

Прекрасное постельное белье, современная и удобная мебель, очень хорошего качества косметические средства для ухода ( шампунь, бальзам и тд). Хорошо оборудована кухня: посудомоечная машина, микроволновая печь, электрический чайник, вся посуда прекрасного качества. Отдельный плюс за коробочку со средствами для мытья посуды ( таблетка для посудомоечной машины, моющее средство, тряпки двух видов…). В номерах все продумано до мелочей и очень удобно ( чувствуешь себя как дома). Локация удивительная, в пешей доступности залив Аркашона ( 1 км) и непосредственно океан ( примерно 8 км). Место идиллическое. Но во втором посещении были нюансы, которые оставили неприятный осадок. Забронировали сначала два дня, потом решили добавить еще один. Поскольку разница между этими двумя бронированиями составила всего 8 евро/сутки, даже не обратила внимание, что в одном бронировании классический домик, а в другом- улучшенный. Отель обратил на это внимание и прислал об этом уведомление, что вы можете доплатить 60евро/ночь и остаться в этом улучшенном домике. Если бы мое бронирование было отменяемым, я бы просто эти два бронирования отменила и создала бы одно, а так, просто написала отелю, что они нас могут сразу на все три дня поселить по классу более дешевого бронирования ( согласилась на уменьшение класса уже оплаченного бронирования). Потом эту же информацию прислал Трип ком, я подтвердила, что улучшение за счет доплаты своего второго бронирования не планирую, они тоже от себя об этом написали в отель ( что клиент согласен на снижение класса номера, но чтобы не переезжать из номера в номер). При заселении опять этот же вопрос, у вас два бронирования и вам нужно либо переезжать, либо доплатить. Я опять попросила селить сразу по более низкому тарифу, поскольку справедливо предполагала, что вариантов расселения в несезон было достаточно. Отметила, что не кажется ли вам странным, что мы проехали к вам 3 тысячи километров, приехали второй раз, согласны на снижение класса, озвучивать переселение через сутки в другой номер? Заселили. Действительно, не переезжали из номера в номер. Но при выселении выставили счет доплату, но уже по 80евро/сутки. Конечно, услышав мои недоумения по этому поводу, счет сразу аннулировали, но неприятный осадок остался. В связи с этим, хочу пожелать отелю более внимательно читать переписку с клиентом, чтобы не было лишнего общения и лишнего негатива. Отдельно хочу отметить, что мы имеем языковой барьер. Отзыв пишу без негатива, а чисто для информации. Оценку из-за своего неприятного осадка не снижаю, поскольку если на земле и существует рай, то он находится на этом полуострове

The hotel restaurant is very delicious. You can eat different French breads for breakfast, which tastes as good as what I ate in Paris. Lunch and dinner are standard appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. The wine here is also very delicious. This restaurant sells almost all the wines from the surrounding wineries. I can't drink much, but I drank a lot here for a few days. It's so happy. Many local vineyard owners will also come here to eat The hotel will help call a taxi and We booked a visit to the surrounding wineries. We chose to visit Kirin Winery. We walked slowly from the hotel to the winery, looking at the vineyards and the buildings of different wineries along the way. It was very comfortable and refreshing. After arriving at the winery, they welcomed and explained very warmly. The full English explanation was completely understandable and the vocabulary used was very simple. Through the explanation of the different production processes of red wine, we learned why Bordeaux wine is so balanced and delicious. It is worth mentioning that there are Chinese services and Chinese employees here. One of them has worked in China for 15 years and his wife is Chinese. The other is a golf expert who came here from China to work. Because it was New Year, they shared with us the celery dumplings they brought back from Amsterdam, shared life stories with each other, and had a good year! I love France so much. This is my second time in France. I walked south from Paris and looked around. I got a lot of different perspectives and experiences♥️I hope Margaux Inn will get better and better!
