A new, stylish hotel — exactly what I wanted. The spacious lobby area and calming sound of waves. Good food, convenient breakfast with no schedule. I would recommend choosing only the deluxe room, as the premium rooms are near the road and tend to be noisy with constant honking. There’s no gym, which I wish they had. As for the staff — since it’s not a chain hotel, you can feel that the standards aren’t very high, and maybe they never will be. Sometimes they are persistently nice, other times, even rude - they implied that I took their bathrobe and suggested I open the luggage. Later, they called to say they found it, but that feeling, of what happened, it can’t be taken back.

Staying at this hotel was suuuch a lovely experience. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a fresh fruit drink to have whilst you check in. I arrived early and the hotel was able to check me in. The room was beautiful and spacious with the amazing ambient sound of the ocean. It was nice and quiet and had everything one could need. The food at the restaurant was lovely. The room was spacious and bright. They have a gym as well as a spa. They also helped me hail a tuk tuk when I needed to go run some errands. It really was a lovely experience. Will definitely come back.

A relaxing getaway in Unawatuna! Stunning 5 bedroom villa located in the heart of Unawatuna with exceptional service and staff. It’s well equipped with everything you need. Great local and western food which was well prepared and flavorful (the kitchen is extremely clean and well maintained which is always a good sign). There are plenty of areas to relax with great views and the property has lots of shade and beautifully maintained landscape. Vishan and his staff looked after us very well and every request was accommodated including getting us a masseuse in house which was one of the best massages we have had. He also arranged very trustworthy and friendly tuk tuk drivers for us to go around the area. Wish we stayed here longer!!

Fascinating scenery. Every corner of the hotel is a beautiful landscape. The hotel's service staff is professional and kind. They will patiently answer your questions. Any problems during check-in will be solved immediately and you will be given feedback. The hotel has a private beach, which is clean and beautiful. The private swimming pool is clean and beautiful. It can be said to be the ceiling of travel.

My trip to Sri Lanka staying at RIU Hotel was amazing. It was my first time booking an All-Inclusive package, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect—but overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. There were a few areas that could be improved. The food, for instance, felt a bit low in quality, with limited options for a healthy diet. The gym was quite small, with limited equipment, and it would be great if the opening hours were extended to accommodate more guests throughout the day. That said, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive and professional, always anticipating guests’ needs—especially in the buffet restaurants. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the à la carte restaurants as they were fully booked and very much in demand—something we weren’t aware of in advance. We’d definitely love to return once the monsoon season is over, as the weather wasn’t ideal during our stay. The beach, while beautiful, was unsafe for swimming at the time, which was a bit disappointing.

Nera and staff were kind and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Settling into the generous space with a working kitchen was the cherry on top! The wildlife of monkeys, peacocks and colorful birds were on full display.. The location in the village of Unawatuna is excellent and about a 30 minute tuk tuk ride to Galle. There is a temple and lovely pond nearby with wading ducks. There is also a small supermarket with an adjacent vegetable stand about a 10 minute walk away. Jungle Beach and the Japanese Peace Pagoda are about a 30 to 40 minute trek. It would be helpful to add the Uber app to gauge tuk tuk pricing beforehand if you choose to use them.

This stay was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. The room is in the heart of nature, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of the wild, fresh air away from the roads, and the peace and quiet that comes with a more intimate stay. Additionally, the breakfasts have been our favourite, especially the hoppers! It was all fresh and Sri Lankan style, served with the jungle in front of us. One morning, we had monkeys. Another, chipmunks. One special night, we had fireflies. The location was exceptional. However, it was Praneeth who really made this place special for us. We had great conversations, and he even recommended me a great birdwatching app. One night, we chatted for a couple of hours and I learned so much about this beautiful country. Genuinely, Praneeth is a huge value to Jungle Loft. He was attentive, thoughtful and a wonderful representation of the kindness Sri Lankan people exude. Thank you so much, Praneeth for your warmth! I can’t recommend Jungle Loft enough. It’s an ideal location, it’s private, it’s beautiful, and you’ll be looked after. Go for it!!

My stay at The Heritage Hotel Galle Fort was remarkable, with its fantastic location being a highlight. Nestled conveniently close to a variety of restaurants and shops, it offers the ease of exploring Galle's vibrant culture right at your doorstep. The proximity to the iconic lighthouse and the beaches, just a short walk away, adds to the charm of the hotel. Starting the day with the wonderful breakfast options available was a delight. Moreover, the professionalism of the staff was commendable; they were attentive and ensured a seamless experience throughout my stay. The combination of location, service, and comfort makes The Heritage Hotel a place I would gladly choose again for future visits to Galle.

Very pleasant stay in the ancient city of Galle, giving people an unexpected surprise! The location of the hotel is a prime location, deeply embedded in the core area of the ancient city of Galle ~ 15 minutes walk to the Galle Railway Station, 5 minutes to the long coastline of the castle, the major attractions in the ancient city are within reach, and travel is convenient to no need to deliberately plan the route. The most fascinating thing is the hotel itself: as a century-old building retained in the Dutch occupation period, the retro European decoration is full of the charm of the times, every detail is precipitated with historical texture, it is no wonder that it has become a popular landmark for many tourists to punch in. It is a blockbuster with a sense of atmosphere. The service is impeccable! The staff is professional and warm-hearted, as kind as friends. In particular, we should exaggerate the head of the hall, Salander, the warm and humorous character is very infectious, his service is meticulous to the bone, not only patiently answering our various questions, but also actively sharing local niche play, the whole process of intimate escort, so that the journey is particularly comfortable. We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Temple Tree Resort & Spa. The beachfront location is perfect—calm, peaceful, and great for long walks or just enjoying the sunset. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a nice bathtub and a great view from the balcony. The staff were friendly and always ready to help—special thanks to the restaurant team for the warm service. The breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety. The pool and spa areas were also a great place to unwind. Some areas could use a little updating, and the food at dinner was average, but overall it was a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this resort for couples or families looking for a peaceful beach escape in Sri Lanka.
